If Conservatives were behind this, all hell would be breaking loose, but since the left is attempting to legalize and entice these  putrid acts, they get a pass.  It, therefore, comes as no surprise that Democrats are fighting so hard to cram this through.  This bill is downright horrific and unconstitutional.  We need to shut this madness down today, NOW!!!!

HERITAGE.ORG

“The Senate health care bill includes a well-known ‘employer mandate’ provision that would require employers to either offer a ‘qualified’ health plan and pay 60 percent of the premium or pay an annual tax penalty of $750 per full-time employee.

What is less well-known is that the provision would also tax companies even if they do offer insurance–but only if they hire people from low- and moderate-income families who qualify for, and elect to accept, premium subsidies. And the tax penalty for hiring those employees–arguably the people who need jobs the most–would be a whopping $3,000 per employee per year.

The combination of this tax penalty and the rules for determining who qualifies for premium subsidies would encourage companies to engage in some new and repulsive forms of employment discrimination.

Who Would Qualify for a Subsidy?

There are two criteria for qualifying for a subsidy under the Senate bill:

  1. First, family income–not how much this employee is paid by this company, but total family income–would have to be below four times the federal poverty level (FPL). The FPL depends primarily on family size[1]; for 2009, four times the FPL would be $43,320 for a single adult with no children and $88,200 for a family of four (regardless of whether it is a single parent with three children or two parents and two children).
  2. Second, the premium share to be paid by the employee would have to be more than 9.8 percent of family income.

Note that in both cases, whether a company has to pay the $3,000 tax depends not on how much that company pays the employee but on the total income of all the employee’s family members from all sources. (Normally employers do not know the income of their employees’ family members, but the Senate bill calls for the IRS to tell employers which employees fall into this category on a monthly basis.)”

Under Obamacare, the government would use our employers to exact a nanny state.  This is about government intrusion into our personal lives, our pockets and in particular our bank accounts while profiting from their invasion of both worlds.  My family’s total income is for my eyes only, not my employer or the government.

“Here are some examples of how these provisions would play out.

The Single Parent v. the ‘Second Income.’ Suppose an employer is faced with two applicants for the same job at the same pay: a single parent of three children and a married parent with two children and a working spouse.

In this case, the ‘four times FPL’ threshold is about the same for both applicants, since they both have the same family size.[2] However, once hired, the applicant with the working spouse will have a higher family income, so the single parent is more likely to qualify for a premium subsidy–which means the company is more likely to face a $3,000 penalty if it hires the single parent. Which means, of course, that it is more likely to hire the applicant with the working spouse.

The Teenager v. the Adult. Now suppose a company has an entry-level job, and the two applicants are a teenager and an adult. Suppose the teenager has one or two working parents and is still a dependent on their tax return.

In this case, the teenager may have a larger family size (unless the adult has children) but most likely has a much higher family income. The teenager may be covered under a parent’s health plan, but even if not, the teenager’s ‘family income’ includes the parents’ income. The teenager is not likely to generate a $3,000 tax penalty for the employer, but the adult is–especially if the adult has children to support. So the employer has a clear incentive to hire the teenager rather than the adult–especially if the adult is a single parent.

The Illegal Alien v. the Legal Resident. The bill contains provisions that bar illegal aliens from receiving premium subsidies. Putting aside the controversy over whether those provisions would be enforceable in practice, consider them at face value and assume that an employer faces two applicants, one of whom is an illegal alien and the other a U.S. citizen or legal resident alien.

Of course, the employer is not supposed to hire the illegal alien in the first place, but the presence of millions of employed illegal aliens means such laws are not effectively enforced. However, if one must prove legal residence to receive a premium subsidy, the illegal alien is not likely to apply for, much less receive, the subsidy. If there is no subsidy, there is no $3,000 tax penalty for the employer. If the job is low-paying and any (legal resident) employee is likely to qualify for a subsidy, the employer’s incentive is to hire the illegal alien rather than pay a $3,000 tax penalty for hiring a U.S. citizen or legal immigrant.”

Teens v. Adults and Illegal Alien v. Legal Residents?  Is nothing sacred?

With the air in the room as thick as a knife, for a moment, I was actually expecting McCain to open a can of whip a** on Smalley.  Hmm, would have been nice to see.

For months I have said that Obamacare is not about the people, but money, power, control, big government, Obama’s legacy and book sales.  I was right, but it is also about the legacy of Pelosi, Reid and the Democratic Party.

It does not matter that Obamacare would cost the lives of millions, bankrupt a nation and its people for more than half a century.

I honestly believe that as far as Obama, Pelosi and Reid are concerned, they have that part covered, i.e., indoctrination, fascism, dependency and the re-writing of history.

In fact, they are so confident that they have no problem ordering their lambs to the slaughter from the top (politicians) down (citizenry), whores to a fascism.

WASHINGTON EXAMINER

“I outlined the theories of a Democratic strategist who asked to remain anonymous. He said that Pelosi is determined to fulfill the Democratic Party’s destiny — a national health care system — and believes losing 20, or even 40 Democratic seats in the House would be an acceptable price for achieving a goal the party has pursued since Franklin Roosevelt. The president is looking for a crowning achievement and has the comfort of not running for re-election in 2010. And, the strategist said, Reid believes that whatever losses Senate Democrats sustain in 2010 will happen regardless of whether health care is passed….

‘The Democrats are playing for the long term,’ wrote one reader. ‘They know that, once they’ve planted a new entitlement, it will grow as fast as they can water it with taxpayer dollars.’

‘The only way to fully understand the motivation for pursuing this legislation is that it creates dependency,’ wrote another. ‘The unstated, but ever-present, goal of health care reform is to make as many Americans as possible as dependent on the federal government as possible for as much of their lives as possible.’ The reader theorized that the bill’s mandates — requirements for everyone to have health coverage — are designed to create what Democrats ‘have dreamed of for generations: total dependency and a universal entitlement that can never be voted out of existence.’

It’s been done elsewhere, said another reader, who argued that the Democratic plan is designed ‘to make it so our conservatives will be like the conservatives in England, where the entire political paradigm has lurched leftward to the point where the only difference in the two parties is who will give you more.”

Now this is clearly a what the heck moment.  Has the world gone mad?  It seems to me that suddenly there are far too many looney tunes hanging around the water cooler sticking their noses where it does not belong.  Speaking of which, that which I choose to use is my business, not to mention the fact that there are just some places one would rather not receive a paper cut.

The Kansas City Star

“They’ll take my Ultra Soft Charmin only when they pry it from my cold, dead, aloe-smelling hands.”

For real.

“We’re talking about toilet paper. Charlton Heston’s famous vow was of guns.

The issue over tissue in the bathroom — the really super-soft stuff — is more like the fight about the big SUVs loved by many Americans.

Anti-green, according to environmentalists. Politically incorrect. Why should Americans use luxurious toilet paper made from old-growth trees when much of the world gets by with a far more basic and often recycled product?

Why should we flush redwoods, so to speak?

So Greenpeace, the Natural Resources Defense Council and other environmental groups have pushed manufacturers such as Kimberly-Clark (Cottonelle) and Procter & Gamble (Charmin) to stop using wood from virgin forests to make tissue products.

Mountains of paper are dumped every day into recycling bins in homes, offices, factories and schools. Use that to make toilet paper, the activists said.

Time to roll off the big number: If each American family would buy one recycled roll just one time, it would save 400,000 trees, allegedly.

The problem, though, is that each time paper is shredded during the recycling process, its fibers get shorter. The shorter the fiber, the less soft the tissue. And Americans, though indicating in surveys that they embraced green initiatives, also said they don’t want to sacrifice comfort.

‘The truth is that other parts of the world are further along in using recycled content,’ said Kay Jackson, spokeswoman for Kimberly-Clark. ‘The American consumer still wants softness, and they are speaking with their pocketbooks.”

Let us remind the world that the United States is a Democratic nation and Americans have a choice even when it comes down to toilet tissue or the option of a paper on one’s rear.

Considering I am fed up with politicians, community organizers, global warming fear mongers and now fruity loops environmentalists telling me what is right, I’m heading out later for a couple of cases of Charmin, just to hit a nerve.

Why?  Simple, my ass, my choice.

God forgive me, but why don’t Harry Reid that old dirty bastard drop dead or have a fucking coronary. Please forgive my language and my hateful rant but for the past year or so this man brings out the worst in me.

The time has come to retire racist, Harry Reid.

WASHINGTON EXAMINER

“Senate Democrats are threatening Republicans with midnight and crack-of-dawn votes if they continue to fight the majority on the health-care bill and defense spending legislation.

The Senate Democratic leadership office is advising lawmakers, staff and reporters that if the GOP does not yield back time on the defense spending bill now under consideration, a vote will be scheduled for Friday morning at 1 a.m., with final passage slated for 7 a.m. Saturday morning.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid would then begin votes on health care reform, but because Republicans are opposed, the three major components of the bill would first have to be filed with the clerk for a certain number of hours, with the first vote possible on Monday at 1 a.m., the second vote on Tuesday at 7 a.m. and the third and final vote on Wednesday at 1 p.m.

The Senate will then have to take up the $300 billion debt limit increase the House approved days ago. If Republicans do not agree to quick passage of that bill, Reid will call the Senate back into session the week between Christmas and New Year’s, which has never happened in recent history.

Senate Republicans are already pledging to put up a fight, with Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., saying he will not consent to any of the legislation and will force Reid to have a Christmas Eve vote on health care reform. DeMint said he will also force Reid to bring the Senate back after Christmas to deal with the debt limit legislation.

‘No one besides Harry Reid has even seen the bill,’ DeMint spokesman Wesley Denton said. ‘If Democrats won’t read their own bill, they’ll be forced to have every page read to them on the Senate floor. Americans have rejected this government takeover of health care, and Republicans will do whatever is possible to stop them from ramming this through before Christmas.’

Democrats say Republicans are simply trying to block passage of the health care bill at any cost.

‘They have objected to almost everything we have tried to do thus far and continues their trend of playing politics and obstructing over the needs of the American people,’ Reid spokesperson Regan LaChapelle said. “They would rather say no then help unemployed workers, families in need, and sadly even provide funding to our troops.”

Even NBC could not taint the results on this one. The fact that they blame Fox is proof in itself that they still do not get it. While Fox is very informative and useful, it is the people who refuse to think and live in a cube that set this revolution in motion.

Moreover, how can it be that the media is shocked at the reality that Americans are done with it and have had enough?  Clearly, the fringe media along with Obama, his administration and the Democratic Party has underestimated us and still, they refuse to listen.

Do you hear us now?

Only a few months ago, they said we would not last, that we would get tired and go home to our dismal lives.  Little did they know that a revolution had begun in America.  True we have only just begun, but we did not start yesterday.

Limp loser Chrissy Matthews because of his hatred for Fox is in denial, but it’s going to be a long time before he gets another tingle up his leg.

The media still out to lunch with its neck stuck under Obama’s foot is fast running out of excuses and ill-placed justification to attack, ridicule, dismiss and smear.

The ugly truth is that Barack Obama and his merry band of thugs in collusion with the Democratic Party makes up the most corrupt administration in American history and that in itself is only part of the straw breaking the camel’s back.  We, the people have decided that the time is now to take our country back.

The fringe media failing and in denial thinks it is about attacking the GOP. The president, his administration and the Democratic Party, according to the fringe media are celebrating. If that is the case, then the president, his administration, the fringe media and the Democratic Party are as stupid and clueless as they come and in the end, the joke will be on them.

This movement is about cleaning house in BOTH parties.  No one gets a pass.  The Democrats clueless, refusing to accept blame and admit that they are a major problem do not realize that they are the primary target.  What a bunch of jackasses and misfits they are.

While we have to start somewhere, we are gunning for everybody, that means dirty politicians who succumb to the will and interests of lobbyists, big government, higher taxes, flawed healthcare legislation, cap-and-trade legislation that would increase our utility bills 300%, a government that would further diminish our rights and freedoms, etc.  Speaking of which, we want our full rights and freedoms restored pursuant to our founding documents.

Wanting government out of our personal lives is a right that all Americans want and can appreciate, if they just stop and think about it.

Tea Party more popular than Dems, GOP

“Just how angry is the public with the country’s two leading political parties? Angry enough that the conservative, libertarian-leaning Tea Party movement is more popular than either the Democratic or the Republican parties, according to the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.

The Republican Party maintains its net-negative favorable/unfavorable rating in the poll, with 28 percent viewing it positively and 43 percent seeing it in a negative light.

For the first time in more than two years, the Democratic Party also now holds a net-negative fav/unfav, at 35-45 percent.

By comparison, the NBC/WSJ poll shows the Tea Party movement with a net-positive 41-23 percent score.

Yet looking inside those numbers, more than three-quarters (76 percent) of those who say FOX News is where they get their news see the Tea Party movement positively, versus just 4 percent who see it negatively.

That’s a stark contrast to how viewers of the competing cable networks CNN and MSNBC see the movement. More of those viewers have a negative opinion of it (36 percent) than a positive one (24 percent).

Those who get their news mostly from broadcast TV (either NBC, CBS or ABC) are split — 28 percent view it positively, versus 27 percent who view it negatively.”

For the first time in more than two years, the Democratic Party also now holds a net-negative fav/unfav, at 35-45 percent.”

The message is out loud and clear, and yes, they are getting it.  The fringe media like their messiah, his administration and the Democratic Party simply refuse to admit it.

There is no way to sugar coat this, nor will I try.  As Americans, black or white, we should be concerned especially with the appointment of Science Czar, John Holdren who supports sterilization and Peter Singer, an advocate for euthanasia and infanticide and who will be among the administrators involved in Obama’s healthcare reform agenda.

Many would say, this is crazy and rather not think about it.  Think about it.  Is it really?

WORLD NET DAILY
“A black minister who founded a website called BlackGenocide.org charges the Obama administration’s health care reform legislation is designed to increase the number of abortions in the African-American community.

‘It’s sinister, but President Obama has become the face of black genocide in America today,’ said Rev. Clenard H. Childress Jr., senior pastor of the New Calvary Baptist Church in Montclair, N.J.

According to Childress, about 35 percent of the nearly 4,500 abortions performed each day in the U.S. are on African-Americans, even though African-Americans are only about 13.5 percent of the population.

Childress said 52 percent of all African-American pregnancies end in abortion, and three out of every five African-American women will obtain an abortion.

He estimated 16 million African-American babies have been aborted since the passage of Wade v. Roe in 1973.

Had the approximately 16 million African American babies aborted since the landmark Supreme Court decision been allowed to live, there likely would be more than 50 million African-Americans in the U.S. today. The last count, in 2007, was 40 million.

WND contacted Planned Parenthood and NARAL Pro-Choice America for comment and received no response by the publication deadline.

Statistics on abortion maintained by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirms the rate of abortions for African-American women is three time higher than for white women. About 10.8 percent of white pregnancies resulting in a reported abortion, compared to 33.4 percent for African-Americans.

If the Democrats’ health-care measure provides government funding for abortions, Childress expects the number of African-American abortions to increase dramatically.

Childress pointed to a hidden ‘marriage penalty’ included in the House-passed version of health care reform under which the cost for health insurance for two married individuals would exceed by approximately $10,000 the cost if the two individuals were single but living together.

‘Skillfully placed in the bill is an incentive not to marry,’ Childress pointed out. ‘Unwanted pregnancies to unwed mothers are a major cause of abortion in the African-American community.’

According to U.S. National Center for Health Statistics, 70.2 percent of all African American babies were born to unmarried mothers in 2006.

‘Few people appreciate the health risk a woman takes with an abortion,’ Childress argued. ‘Abortions in first-time pregnancies increase the risk of breast cancer by as much as 66 percent. Abortions used as a contraceptive makes the woman a high risk for future illness, with the cost of her subsequent health care likely to increase by three or four times as a result of the abortion.’

President Obama is on record arguing the right of a woman to choose an abortion is absolute.

On Jan. 23, as one of his first acts as president, Obama issued an executive order rescinding the so-called ‘Mexico City Policy,’ a Reagan administration-era prohibition against all non-governmental organizations receiving federal funding to perform or actively promote abortions.”
