“Obama wants to impose government-run health care in the next three weeks. See below.”  –Steve

I need your help right now…

President Obama launched a full-court press yesterday for Congress to pass his Government-run health care plan before the August recess.

That means Obama and the Democrats are planning to rush through their massive plan to put government in charge of your health care in just three weeks!

Today, Grassfire is launching a nationwide petition to stop ObamaCare.

If you oppose Obama’s plan to create a massive health care bureaucracy that stifles your private health care choices while imposing $1.5 in new taxes, please go here to sign:

+ + Government “Option” Is Socialized Health Care

The key component of Obama’s plan is the creation of the so-called “Public Option” which is really a new government health care plan run by the federal bureaucrats. The government “option” is certain to cripple the private health care industry and leave Americans with fewer personal choices and more taxes.

And the cost?  Estimates range as high as $1.5 trillion in NEW TAXES… and that’s from Congress’ official budgeting office.  Right now, Democrats are scrambling for ways to hide the real costs and force businesses and the “rich” to pay.

But don’t be fooled — you and I will be forced to “foot the bill” and our struggling economy will be further saddled with yet another new and oppressive government tax!

Even worse than the cost is the fact that the government could soon be running our nation’s health care system. Do the words Amtrak and U.S. Postal Service ring a bell?

We have only a few weeks to mount grassroots opposition to Obama’s government-run health care, and frankly I’m depending on every member of our team to take a moment to sign our petition.
Go here to sign right now:

+ + Senate committee votes begin next week!

Next week I want to rush a minimum 100,000 petitions to the Senate Finance Committee before they vote to impose a massive government-run health care system on the American people.

Please sign today and then alert your friends.

P.S. Government-run health care is already a failure in Europe, and the Democrats’ plan is a disaster wrapped in a massive tax increase. That’s why they are rushing this bill through Congress — in less than three weeks! Please take a stand today and alert your friends:

Days after Iran’s post-election rallies, hundreds gather near Tehran University where security forces and anti-riot police maintained a strong presence.

The renewed demonstrations were called to mark the 10th anniversary of the 1999 student protests in the country.

Iranian security forces fired rounds of tear gas to disperse the protesters.

Authorities had earlier warned people against participating in any rallies in the city on Thursday, saying no permit had been issued for any such demonstrations.

Crowds of protesters also gathered in other sites in the Iranian capital, but there has been no official word on the number of participants in those demonstrations.

No doubt, Barack Hussein Obama is straight out busted.  As I look at this photo, I recall the moment I stopped watching “The View” forever last year.  The straw that broke the camel’s back came when Sherry Shepherd announced that she was voting for Barack because he didn’t cheat on his wife.  Shepherd who at the time constantly reminded the viewers of her recent failed marriage made it clear that this of course meant the only reason she was not voting for John McCain was because he left his wife.  I swear Walters must have been desperate and Shepherd should just shut up.  To Sherri Shepherd, “Duh, what politician doesn’t cheat!!!”

Moving on and not insinuating anything….really…..Can’t help but love an unscripted Obama moment.

Oh damn, now his supporters all know that Obama is not a God, but a mere mortal like the rest of us.  Not to mention, I think it safe to say that there won’t be too many more of those once Michelle gets a peek at this photo or at least POTUS will at least try to be discreet the next time.

Feel free to leave your comments and have fun with this one.

In the meantime, POTUS, please try to keep your mind on your work.

“China has ordered mosques in the riot-hit Urumqi to stay closed for Friday prayers in the wake of ethnic violence in the city, an official said.

The official who identified herself as a government worker but refused to give her name said on Friday that the decision to close down mosques had been made for public safety, adding that “people should stay at home today and pray,” AP reported.

Officials in Kashgar, another city in Xinjiang Province have suspended visits by foreigners. They have ordered foreigners and visiting journalists to leave the city.

The protests, which saw 156 people killed and more than 1,100 others injured, were sparked over last month’s deaths of Uighur factory workers during a brawl in southern China.

The eight million Uighurs in Xinjiang accuse the Chinese government of discrimination and repression. The government, however, denies the charges.”

ACORN reminds me of the crackhead on the corner, always begging, except they are far worse.  They are more like the crazed heroin addict or the drug addicts portrayed in the 30’s movie, “Reefer Madness.”

“Almost $10 million in union contributions went to the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now (ACORN), and its affiliates according to U.S. Department of Labor financial disclosure forms called LM-2’s.

The bulk of the donations came from the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), which contributed $7.4 million between 2005 and 2008 to the national organization, state chapters and allied groups. SEIU’s single largest donation of $1.5 million went to the ACORN Community Labor Organizing Center (ACLOC) in 2006. SEIU also made a $1.3 million donation to ACORN International in 2005.

The United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW), the Longshore and Warehouse Union, the Communication Workers of America (CWA), and the National Education Association (NEA) were other top contributors.

SEIU Locals 100 and 880 were listed as allied organizations on ACORN’s web site until The Examiner highlighted this connection…”
