~ “I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts.” Ronald Reagan.
An update from 2013, when we still believed the open borders argument was just about cheap labor for super-national business. Big business has shown itself to be much more Corporate One-World than we knew then, Republican lawmakers as a class (with some notable exceptions) even more craven than we could have imagined then, and Democrats, with almost no exceptions, more totalitarian wannabe socialists then we ever thought they’d admit out loud.
The times have been changin’.
The only real constant in the past 70-80 years has been the general dreams and aspirations that lure people from the South here in the first place; work, better living conditions, and the ability to rise above the low station their native Spanish societies had condemned them into permanently. (Look up “peon” in Wiki. Anthropologists once considered them as a Western hemisphere cultural version of the European feudal serf. And the American slave, They have their own “n” words down there, and the latino management class still looks upon them this way.)
They want to be their own boss. To be a “Senor”, a “Mister”. Many Latinos are genuinely entrepreneurial, and once they become fully acculturated in 2-3 generations, they become true Americans (ser Americano) of the first order.
This is why I prefer America recruiting from the bottom of the well rather than their more educated top, for they represent a very superiorist, class view of society which fits in with the political aspirations of both the upper business and legal class, taught in American universities as the desired form of national identity. (This is something else we didn’t know for sure in 2013, but do now.)
The original American way to wealth required a three-generation path of affluence, where it was the great grandkids who became the brats, who also supervised the downward spiral of the family name, prestige and wealth.
Pope Frank from Argentina reminds me of the original bargain between the Church and Spanish-Portuguese kings when they first conquered Paradise in the 1500s, and is perhaps why God left them out of the ground floor planning when the United States was formed in the latter quarter of the 18th Century.
They were never on the same page about human liberty. Still aren’t.
As you can tell, then, I’m simpatico to those kinds of dreams found at the bottom of the well. In the end, to be Americans, they turn out better.
But today it seems, from whatever station they began, they now come here politicized, as if they are owed something from us[…]
I have no idea how many of you there are anymore, “well-meaning” voters, both D’s and R’s, but let me throw some descriptions out to you and see if the shoe fits.
I have a very good friend from the YMCA, Singh. Like me, he visits almost very day, and is about my age. He is a retired engineer from a major corporation. He’s Indian, from Mumbai, when it was still called Bombay. He came to the United States on a student visa in the mid-60s, and has done very well for himself, a shrewd investor and world traveler.
Singh and I belong to a close knit fraternity, many of whom are a decade or more older then we are. By age, we are only in the middle. Almost none of this group ever went to college, and almost none of us know the others’ last name. At least not until one of us dies, then we all sit around in the shower room, wearing towels and hold a little wake. We lose one or two a year.
But we never talk politics. Here is why.
Singh is an engineer. I’m a lawyer. But almost no one knows. With the Indians, you assume they are professionals since bus drivers can’t get immigration visas to come here. We have several black men who are retired factory workers who are part of circle. Another was a farmer. One retired truck driver. Ex-teamster. Knowing what the “C” stands for in YMCA, almost no one cusses beyond a shucky-dern or occasional “hell-fire!” Just good manners[…]
“An administrative processing error” or a bunch of bureaucrats too lazy to do their jobs. Technology has wreaked havoc on elections and California’s system is no different.
…”The 14 Bay Area locations are the only stores that will receive a DMV Now Self-Service Terminals,” Jessica Gonzalez, the DMV’s assistant deputy director of public affairs, told us via email. “It was challenging to get more SF locations because of ADA requirements.”
The DMV Now Potrero Center kiosk can help drivers renew their registrations and dispenses license plate tags on the spot. Previously, these documents took days to receive in the mail even if users completed the transaction online[…]
Technology makes it so easy to cheat and commit fraud.
Enter October and the DMV is reporting that at least 1,000 people who are not American citizens have been registered to vote. Another error. Not buying it. Four weeks to go and the whole thing stinks beginning with the true amount of voters “incorrectly” registered to vote including illegal aliens.
An error at California’s Department of Motor Vehicles caused more than a thousand people, including some who were not U.S. citizens, to be incorrectly registered to vote, state officials said Monday.
The DMV admitted that a “processing error” at agency field offices resulted in as many as 1,500 people being added to voter rolls between April 23 and Sept. 25.
The widespread glitch was discovered after Randall Marquis, a Canadian citizen and legal U.S. resident living in California, notified the DMV he had received a piece of mail from the agency saying he was registered to vote. In response to Marquis’ alert, the agency ordered an internal audit and discovered hundreds of similar cases.
“This error occurred when DMV technicians processed customer requests at field offices to change voter eligibility responses on driver license applications,” the DMV wrote in a letter to California Secretary of State Alex Padilla, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. “Due to the order in which the change was processed, the customer’s initial responses were retained instead of the correct and revised responses.”
The DMV said the improper registrations were made “through no fault of the customer.” None of the people who were registered to vote due to the error were illegal immigrants, the agency added.
“We have worked quickly with the Department of Technology to correct these errors and have also updated the programming and added additional safeguards to improve this process,” DMV Director Jean Shiomoto said in a statement Monday, according to ABC News.
The spate of improper registrations was the second major statewide error at the California DMV in the last two months. The agency admitted in early September that it had mishandled about 23,000 voter registrations by assigning them to the wrong political party or mislabeling vote-by-mail preferences.
Padilla said Monday he was “deeply frustrated and disappointed” by the errors at the DMV. He called on the agency to hire an outside consultant to help shore up its voter registration process.
An audit of California’s DMV voter registration program—commonly known as “motor voter”—is likely to turn up more instances of mistaken registration, according to the Public Interest Legal Foundation, a nonprofit that investigates election integrity issues. A Public Interest Legal Foundation report released in August found that hundreds of noncitizens were recently purged from voter rolls in three major California counties, most of them after having registered through the motor voter program.
“There can be much more to come on this front, given Secretary Padilla’s quick call for an audit and quoted claims from noncitizens caught in the system,” Public Interest Legal Foundation spokesman Logan Churchwell told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “Too many noncitizens learn of … their unlawful registrations from federal authorities during immigration procedures thanks to sloppy motor voter enforcement like seen here. We’ve seen thousands document those rude awakenings across the country.”
Why would the Left be puffing up numbers of a Blue Wave when the numbers don’t justify that…unless they have an alternate plan as to how to make those numbers seem real?
The numbers don’t add up.
It makes no sense for anyone with a family who has a position anywhere other than a university, unless wealthy, works for Google or Facebook, or works in a 6 x 6 cubicle inside a government office building, to go out and vote for a Party that has thrown in 100% with full-fledged enemies of freedom.
Except for their Few, that is.
There are a lot of them; 1) the Democrat Party all the way down to grass roots operatives, 2) as well as some portion of the deep state, (the entrenched federal bureaucracy) 3) as well as the most prominent members of the national media, such as network news organizations (ABC, CBS, NBC), cable news (CNN and MSNBC), national print media (New York Times, LA Times, Washington Post). and virtually every big city print daily in America, none of whom are owned by residents of their cities anymore.
These are the “Elites” and they make up 3-4 million people, 1.5%-2.0% of the total population, about 4% of the voters.
But they have their client base, a group that follows national and world events, at least rhetorically, for it is through a prism provided by the groups named above, and who have an unnatural love of themselves alongside a down-the-nose antipathy for all others. I call these the “In-Group”. They amount to little more than 15 million adults, and maybe another 10 million if you throw in wannabe one-issue college students (pro-abortion, anti-freedom of speech, global warning, gay-transgender rights) who will actually bother to vote.
Then add another 20 million from the “Client Group”, people who live off the fat of the land, who do no work today, and who are content to stay that way. (This group is diminishing almost daily, for every new job costs Democrats 1 -2 voters).
Fact: Today, the working people in America who work outside the government sector, once the backbone of the Democrat Party, can find no virtue in voting for a Democrat anymore[…]
In spite of an announcement on her blog that she was taking a few weeks off, I decided to journey over to The Mad Jewess website and found the following post.
God bless the woman, a blogger like the rest of us, it is often hard to begin that break when one runs across an illegal act that, if true, should outrage all Americans.
On a personal note, I suspect that @fetuskebabs might be a bot created to create havoc. That being said, if true, it or whatever has the Progressive routine down to a science. Americans cannot afford to leave nothing to chance.
“It’s been a long night and it’s been a long campaign but I can say, uh, we can wait a little longer, can’t we? There still counting votes and every vote should count….She has done an amazing job and she is not done yet.”
John Podesta, Hillary Clinton Campaign Mgr.,
Jacob Javits Center, NYC 11/09/2016
The above words were spoken by John Podesta on the morning of November 9, 2016 after the presidential election was called for now President-elect, Donald Trump. Hillary Clinton would not concede until late Wednesday morning and supposedly after Barack Obama told Clinton, “you need to concede.”
Since then Obama’s/the DNC’s civilian army of useful idiots have unleashed chaos, violence and destruction of property on the streets of the Unite States while the elite’s media propagandists question the sanity of American voters electing Donald Trump rather than look within. Progressives at the same time refuse to admit that the chaos and division brought about by eight years of an Obama White House and months of attacks from the Clinton camp only offered Americans more of the same.
On Friday, Green Party presidential candidate, Jill Stein, who for months trashed Clinton and Reform Party presidential candidate, Rocky De La Fuente both filed for a recount of the presidential votes in Wisconsin. Wisconsin and any other state that involved in the recounting of votes have until December 13th. In Wisconsin, 2.9 million votes must be recounted with 10 electoral votes up for grabs.
There are plans to file for a recounting in Pennsylvania whose deadline to file is Monday, and Michigan whose deadline to file for a recount of presidential votes is Wednesday.
Last week, Jill Stein who only raised $3.5 million during the who presidential campaign last week went on a fundraising blitz during which she mysteriously raised as of this posting, $6,016,162 out of her $7,000,000 goal in a matter of days needed to file for recounts in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan. So far, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania is covered. Stein is reported to have raised $3 million in one day. [Source: Jill #Recount2016]
Despite there not being any proof (beneficial to Progressives) of voter fraud, David Cobb, Stein’s campaign manager stated that “The recount was not filed in order to change the election outcome, which is unlikely, nor to favor any one candidate. We are pursuing this recount to verify the integrity of the election result…”
With the help of global elites, Stein who in the past week raised twice as much in a matter of days than she did during the entire presidential campaign by bedding down with those have no integrity has proven that she is up for sale and will have no problem reaching her goal which explains the news that broke Saturday afternoon from Marc Elias, legal counsel to Clinton’s campaign that the Clinton team will collaborate with Stein in the recount efforts to steal an election called nearly three weeks ago from President-elect, Donald Trump.
Listening and Responding To Calls for an Audit and Recount
..Over the last few days, officials in the Clinton campaign have received hundreds of messages, emails, and calls urging us to do something, anything, to investigate claims that the election results were hacked and altered in a way to disadvantage Secretary Clinton. The concerns have arisen, in particular, with respect to Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania — three states that together proved decisive in this presidential election and where the combined margin of victory for Donald Trump was merely 107,000 votes.…
Because we had not uncovered any actionable evidence of hacking or outside attempts to alter the voting technology, we had not planned to exercise this option ourselves, but now that a recount has been initiated in Wisconsin, we intend to participate in order to ensure the process proceeds in a manner that is fair to all sides. If Jill Stein follows through as she has promised and pursues recounts in Pennsylvania and Michigan, we will take the same approach in those states as well. We do so fully aware that the number of votes separating Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in the closest of these states — Michigan — well exceeds the largest margin ever overcome in a recount. But regardless of the potential to change the outcome in any of the states, we feel it is important, on principle, to ensure our campaign is legally represented in any court proceedings and represented on the ground in order to monitor the recount process itself….
Progressives and their media propagandists are blaming the Russians and “fake news” for the Trump victory. After all, it could not have been fed up Americans who suffered under the past eight years of Barack Obama’s policies. Speaking of which, White House talking points are that the Obama administration is opposed to the recounts. Yeah right.
The lies just keep on coming and as stated by John Podesta in the Jacob Javits Center in NYC, “…we can wait a little longer, can’t we? They’re still counting votes and every vote should count.…She has done an amazing job and she is not done yet.…,” the final endgame is to convince the electors by hook or by crook not to vote for Donald Trump, i.e., to steal the election from the President-elect.
“Every vote should count” meaning, 6.9 million illegal aliens who voted, dead voters, ballots stuffed and newly found votes that will mysteriously pop up where necessary. Progressives are not done yet. Brace yourself, America. Brace yourself.
Whatever happens, Jill Stein, is the pawn. Her job was to light the match. The Clinton campaign will take it from there pouring fuel on the fire to keep it burning.
In the end, having gladly cast her lot and learning nothing from Bernie Sanders (but then Sanders sold out as well), Stein who has $.5 million left over from the campaign will take the fall.
On Stein’s fundraising page, there appears to be a fuzzy math thing going on. According to Law Newz,“What’s even stranger is that she seems to be tinkering with some of the language on her website about the likelihood of a recount. ..” And I thought it was the conspiracy theorist in me. “And interestingly, as more donations started pouring in over the holiday, Stein moved her total fundraising goal to $7 million. She originally had a goal of $2.5 million. She also upped the amount she will need for lawyer’s fees….”
While Stein’s latest goal is $7 million to be put toward a recount which is not guaranteed?
The language to the petition as of November 23rd as follows:
If we raise more than what’s needed, the surplus will also go toward election integrity efforts and to promote voting system reform. This is what we did with our surplus in 2004.
And from another angle.
Tyler Durden of Zero Hedge, has screenshots of Stein’s evolving fundraising page which speaks for itself:
Just yesterday we noted that Jill Stein was acting on behalf of Hillary Clinton to raise money for recounts in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. As we noted then, we continue to be astonished by the amount of money flowing into the fundraising campaign and would love to see which of Hillary’s mega donors have spent the most on the effort…somehow we suspect this isn’t just a “grassroots organizing” effort as Stein described it.…
But, today a new mystery has emerged in Stein’s fundraising efforts. Apparently, the more money she raises the more expensive the recount effort becomes. Courtesy of the Wayback Machine we have the following snapshots from her fundraising page over the past couple of days:
As noted last night by Judge Jeaniine Pirro and Paul Joseph Watson on his YouTube page, recounts are only being called for in state’s won by the President-elect.
I predict that everyone reporting the nefarious deeds by Progressives over the coming weeks to deny the President-elect that which he has legally won and earned will be labeled “fake news” sites. The left is counting on stupid American voters not to recognize what is happening before them.
