~ “I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts.” Ronald Reagan.
When we heard the wait times on our list were so long that patients died We said “This is government-run healthcare” “So we’re gonna do what’s right”
We’re gonna grab a piece of paper and we’ll make a second list We’ll just say that wait times aren’t that long and that no deadlines were missed and when people die we’ll cross them off and pretend they don’t exist cuz there ain’t no doubt we can’t be fired God bless the government
It ain’t just about the soldiers you see we also sacrifice There are days you’ll find us working until the crack of 4:45
But for all the soldiers out there who sick and need some help What can they do to get the government to care about their health?
They could grab a piece of paper and write down something like this and abandon your whole unit then they’ll care when you get sick and if people die when they look for you we’ll pretend they don’t exist cuz there ain’t no doubt we can’t be fired God bless the government.
Yesterday, Barack Obama appeared to try to shift responsibility for the VA scandal to his predecessors, saying the problems “predated my presidency” and “I only found out from reporters”.
Yes, problems did predate his presidency, but things became exponentially worse while he was in charge. Under him came not just long waits, but clearly a rampant policy of lying and deception concerning those wait times. This involved reports lying to Congress about those times….
Barack Obama was also on the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee from 2005-2008. He’s had almost ten years where he has had a responsibility to address these issues. What was he doing then while our veterans waited?
Obama zombies across the blogosphere are losing their minds today over former governor Sarah Palin’s statement last night that Barack Hussein Obama is lazy even though the never-ending campaigner-in-chief/Commie ideologue informed the world that when he looks in the mirror, he sees……lazy.
Reality check zombies, race baiters alike. Attack Sarah Palin for reminding you that your messiah besides being a Commie failure is asinine and idiotic. Palin is right on all accounts. Obama is lazy. In fact, on December 23, 2011 he admitted so back in a televised interview with Barbara Walters.
Obama to Barbara Walters: “I Think There’s A Laziness In Me.”
Obama supporters, put that in your pipe and smoke it. Save some for Obama.
Palin did double duty during her discussion last evening with Sean Hannity. She proved once again that it is Progressives who are waging the war on women.
Case in point, look the amount of vitriol and verbal attacks that have manifested today against the former governor. Progressives simply cannot help themselves.
Congressman David Scott (D-GA) let the Obama administration and the Department of Veterans Affairs have it with both barrels on the House floor Wednesday afternoon over the maltreatment of our veterans and massive cover up, which has now a morphed into a nationwide scandal.
The Congressman also took Barack Obama to task for statements made earlier in the day during a press conference.
Transcript:
Rep. David Scott: Thank you very much mister speaker. The issue here before us on this bill and first let me say that I’m a proud co-sponsor of this bill to replace and be able to fire people. But the problem is the first person we need to fire is the Secretary of Veteran’s Affairs Mr. Shinseki himself. Now we respect him, we respect his sacrifice for this country and everything else but the buck starts at the top. Here are the facts, five thousand, six hundred veterans are committing suicide every year. That is almost twenty every day, under his watch, under his watch at my own hospital in Atlanta four of our soldiers committed suicide in the hospital. And the very Inspector General of the VA laid the blame directly at the foot of the VA administration for the lack of management, for the death of these soldiers. And when Chairman Miller and I went down and visited them we asked is there one more, is there any more that’s committed suicide, ‘no, there’s been no more’ and they told a damn lie. Because the very next day it was exposed that there was another soldier that committed suicide and they covered it up. This has been a pattern that has been going on ever since General Shinseki has been the Chairman there. I respect his sacrifice, I respect what he did but it’s under his watch that we are in this situation in the hospital. Out in the western part of this country, where the Washington Post has accurately reported that forty of our soldiers lost their lives, died because they couldn’t get service. Our veterans are the heart and soul of this country. They are precious and we must not turn our backs on them. I listened to the President today and I was very disappointed with President Obama today. There was no urgency, Mr. President we need urgency. We need you to roll up our sleeves and get into these hospitals. We need you to set a pattern, if the VA hospitals can’t handle it let’s get partnerships, can I get another minute, let’s get partnerships (crosstalk) (crosstalk) God bless you because there are some things I want to say. Reports are out that the taxpayers are going to have to pay or have paid one billion dollars for medical malpractice of a reputable news organization cox media, WSB television down in Atlanta went all over this country, one billion dollars the taxpayers are paying because of the VA cut off the wrong arm, cut off the wrong leg, the wrong tentacle, the wrong kidney. Let me tell you all something folks, time that’s what I so disturbed about the President, we don’t have time for any more investigations. The reports are in. Jesus Christ himself said there is no greater sacrifice than to give your life for your friend. Our soldiers have given their lives on the battlefield for them (crosstalk) We need to give our lives up here and give our veterans the respect they deserve.
InfoWars SSG Joe Briggs interviews a Veteran Affairs whistleblower that believes Americans need to know what is going on in the VA hospitals across America as he describes the mad dash cover up occurring right now as well as the atrocious conditions and care, death panels and more that initially caused the scandal to explode when the secret VA death list was exposed recently….
The whistleblower can be heard in the video (09:25) further down in this post recounting how a non-veteran supervisor at the VA hospital expressing his disdain for older veterans asserted that they “should be taken outside and shot in the head because they’re worthless. The individual still works at the hospital and was not disciplined for his comments.”
In addition, the whistleblower also reveals that there is a massive purge and reshuffling of files presently taking place.
… ‘Recently there’s been a very rapid race to move records, boxes, change labels, whatever it may be, they’re putting them in rooms that nobody would look in….and there’s multiple times that I have seen in the past week or so them moving boxes….so apparently they’re hiding their tracks somewhere,’ stated the VA employee, adding that the activity preceded an inspection of the facility, suggesting it was part of an effort to conceal evidence in the aftermath of the secret waiting list scandal….
Shuffling the books, changing the records, etc.: (04:21 of video) Threat: (06:04) Nepotism/favoritism of hirees: (08:18)
Clearly, Barack Obama who finally broke his silence this morning thinks that the American people are stupid.
It was evident that Obama had no intention of stepping before the cameras until he was confident that a cover up was well underway, that his foot soldiers have by now instilled fear in VA employees silencing them just as they did the CIA with Benghazi and that the White House could control the message.
What freaking “allegations”? Since when is malpractice, the ill-treatment of and dead veterans “allegations”? Thank goodness for “mute” on the remote control.
Always on Obama, the malignant narcissist wasted no time patting himself on the back. This sob had the audacity (of course, he did) to regurgitate the same cold speech he spewed for the Benghazi, IRS, and Fast & Furious scandals, etc.
Should we be surprised? No. After all, Obama who lost all credibility years ago is a creature of habit. H/t Before Its News.
As an American and one who appreciates the service of our men and women, it is despicable that our heroes should left to the mercy of those who hold nothing but disdain for them starting with Barack Obama.
