During a Friday afternoon interview with Hillary Clinton, CNBC’s John Harwood asked the presidential candidate about the current FBI investigation into her e-mail practices. Clinton defended herself from allegations of misconduct stating “I’ve been the most transparent public official in modern times, as far as I know.”

Harwood’s interview was conducted at a factory in Detroit, Michigan where Clinton held a rally and gave a speech. Clinton praised the factory for being owned by a woman and for employing union labor.

CMS Chief Marilyn Tavenner asked Subordinate to “Please delete email.”

On October 5, 2013, CMS Chief Marilyn Tavenner who oversaw the disastrous unfurling of the Healthcare.gov site in an email advised an employee in public affairs to , “please delete email” which apparently was not deleted because it landed in the hands of House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton.

Just earlier this month, HHS had informed Congress that some of Tavenner’s emails had been lost “or destroyed.”

Committee Leaders Press Tavenner for Answers Regarding Request for Staff to Delete Email, Status of Missing Emails

WASHINGTON, DC – House Energy and Commerce Committee leaders today sent a letter to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Marilyn Tavenner regarding a document uncovered by the committee in which Tavenner instructs the top CMS spokeswoman to delete an email exchange between CMS, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the White House. The email is dated October 5, 2013, five days into the disastrous launch of HealthCare.gov. This letter follows a recent memo sent to the committee from CMS regarding the potential loss of emails pertaining to the committee’s October 10, 2013, request for documents surrounding the implementation of the president’s health law.

The leaders write, “Over 10 months after sending this request, last week your staff informed the Committee on Energy and Commerce that copies of your e-mail communications could have been lost. CMS also informed the National Archives and Record Administration that it was possible that some of your email records ‘may not be available to HHS.’ This unusual development is unfortunately part of a pattern of this administration’s inability to properly preserve records. In the letter to the National Archives, CMS represents the potential loss of your emails as the result of the ‘extremely high volume of emails’ that are received daily.

“The day after a CMS official informed the Committee about the potential loss of your emails, HHS provided the Committee with additional documents related to our review of HealthCare.gov. One of the e-mails in this production shows that you directed a subordinate to delete an email communication featuring a number of White House representatives.”

“Right on cue, when the going gets tough, the Obama administration proclaims it can’t find the documents,” commented full committee Chairman Fred Upton (R-MI). “Time and again, the self proclaimed ‘most transparent administration’ has been anything but. And now we know that when HealthCare.gov was crashing, those in charge were hitting the delete button behind the scenes. What was the Obama administration trying to hide?”

“It is troubling enough that it takes 10 months to provide documents pertaining to the failed implementation of the president’s health law, but now we’re told that some emails may be lost and another was asked to be deleted,” added Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee Chairman Tim Murphy (R-PA). “We were told that this nearly $1 billion website didn’t work because of volume, but our investigation proved that was not the case. Documents from the administration continue to prove that what the administration boasted to the public did not line up with what it was saying internally. We will continue to demand answers and hold the administration accountable for these failures.”

Committee leaders ask Tavenner to explain why she asked her colleague to delete that particular email and if there are other emails in which she instructed HHS staff to delete the email. The letter also requests more information on the documents that may have been permanently lost, the purpose for the redactions in the documents that have been provided to the committee, and the status of completing the committee’s October 2013 request.

Eric Holder Failed to Disclose Wife’s Abortion Clinic Ties

Already facing calls for a congressional investigation into his ties to Georgia’s most notorious abortion doctor, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder Jr. may be headed for more trouble.

Documents obtained by Watchdog.org reveal that Holder failed to disclose his wife’s ownership of the building where the doctor operated.

The attorney general’s financial disclosure reports for 2008 through 2011 show Holder neglected to report his wife’s co-ownership, through a family trust, of the building located in the Atlanta suburb of College Park.

Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch in Washington, D.C., said he was ‘surprised there is this trust out there and (Holder) hasn’t reported it.’

‘It looks to me like the sort of thing that should be disclosed. If he and his spouse are gaining income off this trust, generally that would be subject to disclosure,’ Fitton said. ‘I mean, if you have an ownership interest, you get the income. You may not be making the day-to-day decisions about the investments, but you are certainly benefiting from them….

According those these financial disclosure forms, Mr. and Mrs. Schultz of Weston, Florida have seen their assets almost  double since she was elected to the U.S. Congress in 2005.  When comparing Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz’s 2005 disclosure form with her 2011 form, the only other salary she drew besides her congressional salary was $26,320 she received from the Democrat National Committee).

The forms also state that Mr. Schultz’s salary is “$1,000 or more,” or “N/A” but don’t disclose his salary at Community Bank of Broward, where he is a bank vice president.

Again, Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz is not obligated to disclose her husband’s salary, but it is curious that the amount of Community Bank of Broward stock the Schultz’s had first acquired in 2005 does appear to have doubled according to her 2011 financial disclosures…”

So what is the problem?

The problem is that while Debbie Wasserman Schultz attacks Mitt Romney for his accounts and investments outside of the United States, wealth and for refusing to present his tax returns, DWS is a prime example of the pot calling the kettle black.

Wasserman herself has been living large, amassing quite a bit of wealth, invested in overseas entities and until earlier this year, failed to disclose a second home and land parcel.

These two types of suites are only found on the 17th Deck….

As mentioned above, Wasserman Schultz, One Percenter and hypocrite, owns a second home and land parcel in Merrimack County, New Hampshire for which she has had a mortgage since 2005 and failed to disclose until this year.

As it turns out, Little Debbie does not always use her full name.  Rather than use her full name, Debra Wasserman Schultz, she signs off on public records documents as Debbie Schultz.

…The Daily Iberian contends Justice Department attorney Rachel Hranitzky became “belligerent and threatening” after the reporter, Matthew Beaton, questioned why he couldn’t quote her comments during a June 12 public hearing about the New Iberia Fire Department’s hiring and promotion practices.

The newspaper reported that Hranitzky told Beaton he would be asked to leave the City Hall hearing if he didn’t comply with her directive.

“Then (the Justice Department) can call your editors and publisher at the paper, and trust you don’t want to get on the Department of Justice’s bad side,” the paper quoted Hranitzky as saying….

This means information will now be kept from the public as well as the media. Could this be a cover-up on the part of the “most transparent” administration in history? After all, the rifle used to kill the federal agent (Brian Terry) last December in Arizona’s Peck Canyon was part of the now infamous Operation Fast and Furious. Conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the disastrous scheme allowed guns to be smuggled into Mexico so they could eventually be traced to drug cartels.….”

So much for transparency. I cannot help but believe that the Obama administration is the least transparent and the most corrupt administration in the history of the United States.

Americans deserve better and we have the right to know as do the family of Brian Terry the particulars surrounding the death of their loved one.  This tragedy should have never occurred and justice must prevail.

The Obama administration covering their asses is hiding the truth (nothing new there) from the American people.

Everyone responsible for the death of Brian Terry must be held accountable, from Barack Obama and Eric Holder down.
