After the horrific attack on Republican lawmakers earlier this week, two very familiar liberal narrative soon began. The first was, of course gun control. Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe went straight to the Well of Failed Gun Control Solutions. Colion Noir took the governor to task.

Noir is correct. Gun control is used by people with either no solutions, or people with no intentions to actually solve any problems. Never let a good crisis go to waste right Rahm Emanuel?

Not to be out done in the hyperbole game, the ladies of The View went on to pound their lecterns, with Sunny Hostin actually dismissing the notion that a right to self-defense existed in America

“Let’s talk about the Second Amendment,” Goldberg blurted out. “The Second Amendment is about a militia. That’s what it says!”

“That’s the time it was written,” Bila responded. “It’s the right to bear arms, to protect yourself and your family.”

Unable to hold her tongue, Hostin snorted, “Not to protect yourself and your family, that’s not what the Second Amendment is about.”

This is, of course a rare case of a member of the Cult of Gun Control letting their disdain of not only the right own firearms, but to most basic right of self-defense to show itself[…]

The left is beating their heads against the wall trying not to face the reality that it is because of them and their comrades in both Houses that unhinged Bernie Sanders supporter, James T. Hodgkinson, came that close to committing mass murder of elected officials.

The likes of Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, Anderson Cooper and Don Lemon along with Elizbeth Warren, Maxine Waters, Chuck Schumer, Bernie Sanders, Nancy Pelosi, etc. all have the blood of House Majority Whip, Steve Scalise, former Congressional staffer and now lobbyist for Tyson’s Foods, Matt Mika both of whom are in critical condition and three others on their hands.

Try as they might to wash it away, the blood will forever remain on their hands.

Yesterday’s events left many of us shaken to the core, but I’m not going to say we’re surprised. There is no surprise to be found in what transpired in the shooting of Republican Congressmen playing baseball.

I’ll be writing future articles about the Democrats, society and the human condition. But tonight, via Weasel Zippers, I caught a statement by Chris Matthews of MSNBC. It was so egregious it should be addressed immediately. Matthews said on his “Hardball” show tonight:

“We don’t know what sadness was in Alexandria shooter’s life.

Mr. Matthews, we don’t care. We all have sadness and loss. We’ve all suffered in life. Millions suffered and have been suffering under Democrat RULE for decades in this country. Barack Obama worked diligently to kill the spirit of America, and almost succeeded. He did succeed in destroying decent health care at affordable prices for the majority of us.

Let me tell you about the source of the man’s angst, Chris Matthews. It’s you and your cohorts in the malignant media fomenting hate 24/7/365 days a year against conservatives, people of faith, Republicans, supporters of Donald Trump, and anyone else not in lockstep with your rabid ideology. (This behavior has been demonstrated against other GOP presidents, so it’s not just about Donald Trump, though you’ll all rush to blame him. He is just the current flavor of the month. Remember the 8 years of Bush bashing.)

The malignant media has been the vehicle and enforcer for all things Democrat for years. It also makes Chris Matthews and the rest of the alphabet #FAKENEWS suppliers complicit in the events that unfolded yesterday[…]

Republicans vote to defund Obama’s policy ‘czars’

“The House GOP approved an amendment to a government-spending bill that would block funding for the Obama administration’s so-called policy ‘czars,’ appointed advisers to the president that have been much-criticized by Republicans.

The vote was 249-171.

The amendment, offered by Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.), specifically targets Obama’s ‘climate czar’ by blocking funding for the assistant to the president for energy and climate change, the position’s official title. The amendment would block funding for the ‘czars’ through the end of the fiscal year, when the spending bill would run out. The underlying bill also includes a provision to block funding for the position.

‘I think this sends a strong signal to the president that we are tired of him running this shadow government, where they have got these czars that are literally circumventing the accountability and scrutiny that goes with Senate confirmation,’ Scalise said after the vote.

Carol Browner, who currently holds the position, announced last month thatshe will resign, leaving the future of the office in doubt.”
