Judge Rules in Favor of Morning After Pill for 17 Year Olds w/o Prescription

“MEDIA ADVISORY, March 23 /Christian Newswire/ — A judge ruled today that the controversial abortifacient so-called ‘morning-after pill’ Plan B be available to 17 year olds without a prescription. US District Judge Edward R Korman also ordered the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to reconsider whether to make the drug available to girls of all ages without a prescription.

Ignoring patient safety and the damage high dose steroids have on developing female bodies, Korman petulantly insisted the FDA revisit the controversial previous ruling on the abortion drug. Hundreds of women have had serious side effects from Plan B as it has killed millions of preborn babies. It is the subject of ongoing lawsuits and public scrutiny.

Previous studies by the FDA and the Plan B manufacturer, Barr Labs, has shown Plan B is abortifacient 75 to 89% of the time. Planned Parenthood claims that it distributes more than 1 million Plan B kits annually, more than tripling its death claim of performing nearly 300,000 surgical abortions annually.

Barr typically gives groups like Planned Parenthood sweetheart deals on drugs like Plan B as if they were a closed network hospital system, while the group turns around and sells the product for 10-20 times its cost, undercutting local retail pharmacies in the process during a downturned economy.

One international pharmacy leader, Pietro Uroda, explained that the so-called morning after pill is ‘a sort of hormonal bomb’ that ‘cures nothing.’ ‘It is a pharmaceutical product that is for killing an eventual embryo’ that is already a human being.

Pharmacists have increasingly called for rights of conscience protection so they can refrain from dispensing, counseling or referring for such chemical abortions. Four states have granted outright Conscience Clauses and 4 have given broad conscience rights to pharmacists. Recently, President Barrie Hussein Obama initiated the process of reversing the Bush Conscience Clause HHS regulations that codify three existing federal conscience protection laws.

USDJ Edward R Korman should be ashamed of himself.  Besides this being the wrong decision, the man is a hypocrite.  You cannot tell me that this judge or the President would ever want or approve of their minor aged daughters or grand-daughters taking the morning-after pill. 

Also, what is up with our young girls being turned into lab rats?  The side effects are horrendous.  How many girls will suffer and/or die because of the profits to be made by pharmaceutical companies and based on the greed of judges and politicans?  I do not like it. 

Not that I condone this pill, but making it available without a prescription means without parental consent which compounds the error. 

Furthermore, making this pill available to minors will not stem the rate of pregnancy and it is damn sure not intended to reduce promiscuity amongst our young.  It will, in fact do the reverse, as pharmaceutical companies get even fatter compromising the virtue of our youth.

Because it is now available to them, more young girls who might not have considered having sex at such a young age will.  

Many will be coaxed into sexual activity with the promise of picking up the pills on the way home.  Many will decide to have sex because the pills are in their possession.  Others will be coaxed into sex by their partner who will promise to swipe a pill from their sister.

The problem with this is that young people whom we would like to be accountable are not.  What they are is a mass of hormones gone wild, irresponsible, fool hardy and forgetful, so why would one make the morning after pill available to them?

This decision will lend a hand in increasing the rate of STDs and HIV/Aids.  While I do not wish any of these diseases on anyone, I do hope that the morning after pill bites this judge and Obama in the ass and hits them both where it hurts most.
