While attempting to follow live streams online Monday night of the riots and looting in Baltimore and on cable, I heard someone mention that Baltimore mothers trying to follow news reports of the rioting are recognizing their children on the other side of the screen.
Well, one such mother recognized her son rioting (or on the verge of doing so) on the streets of Baltimore and she acted on her findings and this morning (not that she gives a damn), is being hailed as “Mom of the Year.”
While we do not know this woman, one might infer that after a day of hard work (maybe), about to prepare dinner she turned the television, saw the rioters, recognized one and shocked as she may have been, instinct immediately kicked in.
Alternatively, maybe she received a phone call from a neighbor or someone close to the family giving her a heads up.
However, it came about, even with a hoodie and mask hiding his identity, momma recognized her child, ventured out to find him and when she did, she lit him up all the way home.

Of course, there are those attacking this woman for delivering her message with a smack to the head and then dragging her son home where he belongs.
Some are suggesting that she has committed child abuse in public but they are the same people who have no problem with the government eroding parental rights. Not to mention those who do not take lightly to mom interfering with their efforts to tear this country apart.
The bottom line is that mom did what she had to do and with everything that went on last night on the streets of Baltimore, she may have saved her son’s life.
For the record, this also disproves allegations by Elijaah Cummings that the rioters are outsiders.
Within hours of the video surfacing and after a state of emergency was declared, Anthony Batts, Baltimore’s police commissioner in a press conference pleaded with parents to take control of their children.
In a late-night press conference, Baltimore Police Commissioner Anthony Batts blamed the violence in his city on high school students who ‘thought it was cute to throw cinder blocks at police….’
‘Take control of your kids,’ Batts urged parents in closing. ‘This is our city. Let’s make a difference….’
