Ten days ago, EAG News published an article entitled, “School lesson urges students adopt Black Panthers’ demands in response to Ferguson shooting”; Independent Sentinel also published an article on the same subject entitled, “Ferguson-Inspired Lesson Plan for the Kiddies Teaches Marxist Hate.”
Both articles addressed an article written by long-time educator, Julian Hipkins III of Teaching for Change, a Marxist organization, both parties are collaborate with the Zinn Project.
No different from the teachers’ unions who insist that it’s for the children, Teaching for Change is capitalizing on the tragic death of 18-year-old Michael Brown, killed last month by a police officer in Ferguson, St. Louis by providing lessons plans ordained by the Marxist organization relevant in their quest to radicalize America’s youth.
One of their primary tools is the Black Panther Party’s ten point program and front and center is Demand # 7, Police Brutality:
‘Police Brutality. The Black Panther Party’s 1966 platform, known as the ten-point program, included the demand: ‘#7. We want an immediate end to police brutality and murder of Black people, other people of color, and all oppressed people inside the United States.’ The issue of police brutality in communities of color has a long history and the Panther platform gives an example of how to turn grievances into a clear set of goals for meaningful change. The lesson ‘‘What We Want, What We Believe’: Teaching with the Black Panthers’ Ten Point Program’ by Rethinking Schools editor Wayne Au introduces students to this history and invites them to create their own list of demands….
Also included in their lesson plans: the History of Racism in America; Human Rights violations by the United States against Blacks; the Militarization of the Police State; and Student Fear and Resilience in an Unsafe World not against thugs turning the streets of Black America red but against the police state.
Police state? Yes, the police state.
After all, for decades, Progressives, i.e., the Black Panther Party, Congressional Black Caucus, Communist Party, Al Sharpton, Eric Holder, Jesse Jackson among others have and will continue drilling it into the heads of Black youth (and other ethnicities) that police kill only Blacks while pretending that Black on Black crime is either non-existent and a non-issue through their vile propaganda.
Student fear???? Very interesting. Hammer it into the minds of useful idiots who regardless of ethnicity will never entertain the thought of journeying off the plantation. Thus ensuring that the Marxist elites mentioned herein will maintain a vice grip on Black America.
With Common Core entities working in collusion with fellow Marxists, what chance do children regardless of ethnicity have to leave the plantation. No one is teaching them how to think for themselves. Their parents are out to lunch while their children are being brainwashed into accepting a lifetime of oppression from those putting for the illusion of freedom and some damned utopia.
Hate, derision and the urgency to destroy and rip someone’s head off will be forever embedded into their psyche of many if these anti-American entities are successful.
As pointed out by Independent Sentinel,
Teaching for Change partners with Rethinking Schools – the Zinn Project. The Zinn Project is nothing more than Marxist ideology for the schools. It is being used in some Philadelphia schools. These people are deliberately harming the minority communities by teaching hate and violent rebellion to all that is American so they can breed Marxists.
Howard Zinn wrote A People’s History of the United States, which is an anti-American history tome that exaggerates the wrongs and ignores the good. It leaves United States history unrecognizable.
For example, leftist teacher, Bill Bigelow, who runs the Zinn Project, wrote an anti-July 4 article this year, claiming that George Washington was a war criminal and Thomas Jefferson basically plagiarized The Declaration of Independence….

While Huey P. Newton leader, co-founder of the original Black Panther Party failed forty years ago, the propaganda espoused today is no different than that espoused in the 60’s and 70’s with the exception of today’s revisionist history of which Marxists are extremely fond, for example, the deception that that Newton and his crew of blood thirsty militants were civil rights and political activists.
Using the Black Panther Party’s ten-point program, Huey Newton’s dissertation, invoking Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown and the events that unfolded in Ferguson is dangerous and has no role in educating of our children or their future. It is, however, an opportunity to take advantage of a crisis, twists the minds and hearts of our young, i.e., business as usual for those with a nefarious agenda. Yeah, I said nefarious.
Back track forty years ago, to May 2, 1970, the Black Panther Party held nationwide protests in support of several members of the Black Panther Party, one of whom was Bobby Seale. All were on trial for the murder, kidnapping and torture of 19-year-old Alex Rackley, a Black Panther member suspected of being a police informant killed on May 21, 1969.
That afternoon at the rally in New Haven, Connecticut, the crowd of which was mostly young Marxist elites, Black Panther spokesman and editor for the Black Panther newspaper, Elbert “Big Man” Howard read a statement written by author and French poet, Jean Genet also in attendance at the rally.
‘The existence of the Black Panther Party comes first, ahead of your diplomas. You must face life directly, not in comfortable aquaria,’ Genet had said.
‘If we truly want to save this country,’ Panther Chief of Staff David Hilliard said, ‘we’ll take power from the pigs and the other conspiracy-the conspiracy to rip off the chairman of the Black Panther Party….’
Keywords: “ahead of your diplomas…”
While preaching 24/7 Black power, calling for a race war and depicting in what was purported to be a Black Panther coloring book[i] that “the only good pig is a dead pig,” even without the existence of a coloring book, it reeks of hypocrisy that author and French poet, Jean Genet[ii] (mentioned above) traveled for two months across the America with the Black Panther Party who less than twelve months later would split into two warring factions.
ENTER 2014: Nothing has changed. All were and continue to be complicit in the dumbing down of our children even if it means using the deaths of Blacks (young and old) to achieve an ends towards their means.
Michael Brown was dead less than 96 hours when Communists declared him a martyr in order to pursue and justify an agenda that would influence, destroy and twist young minds in the name of the dead teen and his family for whom these damn Marxists could care less.
Do’s and Don’ts for Teaching About Ferguson by Jenée Desmond-Harris (The Root)
… there’s little time to mourn such a thing when you have to head back to a classroom and teach….
What Marxist get away with in the name of the dead, victim or not, racist or not.
Don’t try to make it colorblind: People who insist on looking at the world without acknowledging the role of race are the ones who end up being unable to understand their fellow citizens’ reaction to an event like this because ‘people get shot every day….’
That is rich coming from Marxists who have single handedly desensitized Americans through violent movies and video games. In addition, it must ALWAYS be about race. What a putrid existence these people live.
….Eliminating the role of race and racism in an analysis of Brown’s death and reactions to it deprives students of a rich understanding of American history (especially when it comes to African Americans and law enforcement, as well as the forces that shaped Ferguson)…..
The author of the article suggests using prepackaged lessons plans as provided by Marxist organizations such as Teaching for Change (of course) and strongly urging that educators indoctrinators make no attempt to explain (remember this is not about doing what teachers were hired to do) to students until they have propaganda straight in their own heads. Translation: Get your deception in order before sharing with others.
There we have it, brainwash and twist the minds and hearts of America’s most vulnerable until they are convinced that America, police and Caucasians are bad, Black people can’t be racists and anything wrong with the lives of an individual in spite of choices made by that individual when he becomes of age is whitey’s fault. Enter white privilege. Oh yes and the Black Panther Party is good[iii].
