… For Michelle Obama, the world is also black and white. But her black and white is all about skin color.
She talks about it often, incessantly, even, injecting race and racism into speeches and events in which they have no business. And she did so again on Friday, when she traveled to Topeka, Kansas, to deliver a speech to graduating high school seniors.
First, a background note: Her speech was moved up a day after parents complained that her visit to a school district — just blocks from the historic schoolhouse central to the Brown v. Education Supreme Court decision that outlawed segregation — would focus on race, not their children’s accomplishments….
Someone should have had the stones to uninvite this woman who never thought twice about raining on these graduating students very special day.
First lady Michelle Obama is encouraging students to monitor their older relatives, friends and co-workers for any racially insensitive comments they might make, and to challenge those comments whenever they’re made.
The first lady spoke on Friday to graduating high school students in Topeka, Kansas, and in remarks released over the weekend, Obama said students need to police family and friends because federal laws can only go so far in stopping racism….
Below is an excerpt from Michelle Obama’s speech:
…our laws may no longer separate us based on our skin color, but nothing in the Constitution says we have to eat together in the lunchroom, or live together in the same neighborhoods. There’s no court case against believing in stereotypes or thinking that certain kinds of hateful jokes or comments are funny.
So the answers to many of our challenges today can’t necessarily be found in our laws. These changes also need to take place in our hearts and in our minds. (Applause.) And so, graduates, it’s up to all of you to lead the way, to drag my generation and your grandparents’ generation along with you.
And that’s really my challenge to all of you today. As you go forth, when you encounter folks who still hold the old prejudices because they’ve only been around folks like themselves, when you meet folks who think they know all the answers because they’ve never heard any other viewpoints, it’s up to you to help them see things differently.
And the good news is that you probably won’t have to bring a lawsuit or go all the way to the Supreme Court to do that. You all can make a difference every day in your own lives simply by teaching others the lessons you’ve learned here in Topeka.
Maybe that starts simply in your own family, when grandpa tells that off-colored joke at Thanksgiving, or you’ve got an aunt talks about “those people.” Well, you can politely inform them that they’re talking about your friends.…
Our children are not on this earth to serve Barack, Michelle Obama and the Progressive elites all of whom have spent the past five and half years dividing this country by neighbor against neighbor, family member against family member, race, gender, age, ethnicity, religion and class. Haven’t they done enough harm?
As pointed out by the Washington Times, rather than give accolades for the advancement made in the United States during the sixty years after the landmark Supreme Court case, Brown v. Board of Education, 347 U.S. 483 (1954), she instead chose to “wallow in discontent and bitterness.”
Moochelle and Barack are living in a bubble. They have no right to ask anything of our children let alone, that which they do not practice themselves. Nor do they have the right to tell my children and grandchildren to take me on, spy or snitch on me for my snarky observations and that of anyone else in this country.
Moochelle’s speech marching orders to these children at their graduation, a major stepping stone in their lives, which had more to do with Barack Obama’s political agenda was tactless, arrogant, self-serving and the pot calling the kettle black. However, in spite of her self-serving efforts, the odds are that, most of what she espoused went in one ear and out the other.
It is so obvious to anyone paying attention that the subject of racism, segregated schools, etc. as espoused by Moochelle are the Obama administration’s latest talking points propaganda as is also being espoused by Progressive elites, Arne Duncan, teachers’ unions in their push to force feed our children Common Core standards, eliminate school choice, parental rights and destroy charter schools.
It is just that, PROPAGANDA and as I have written in previous posts, the elitists who prey on our children for their own self-enrichment should not be allowed in their presence.
Did MO tell JayZ, Beyonce, Jamie Foxx and Samuel Jackson to curb their language and insensitive remarks and not just at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue? I think not.
History has shown us repeatedly that when government instructs children to monitor, spy and snitch on their parents, it never ends well.
To the arrogant Progressive petards attempting to push through and agenda that would fundamentally doom America’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to a lifetime of serfdom:
