In spite of Progressive attacks and claims of racism against the film, “American Sniper,” the movie continues to demolish box office records grossing more than $517,199,552 (domestically and internationally).
If calling a great American movie and blockbuster hit racist, doesn’t work, Progressives churn out the Islamic social justice freaks attending universities across America, in this instance, a Muslim student attending the University of Missouri under the guise that showing the film would make her feel unsafe.

Farah El-Jayyousi, a social justice loon and former president of the Muslim Student Organization (a campus organization with radical connections) is demanding an apology, explanation and that the university shut down a special screening of American Sniper. H/t SooperMexican.

The uproar was taken quite seriously, and prompted the student government to conduct a meeting to determine whether the flick should be shown.
‘This film is blatant racist, colonialist propaganda that should not be shown under any circumstances and especially not endorsed by a branch of student government that purports to represent me and have my best interests in mind,’ student Farah El-Jayyousi, former president of the Muslim Student Organization, had stated.
She made the comments in a letter to the editor to The Maneater earlier this month, denouncing the decision to show the blockbuster – the highest grossing film of 2014. El-Jayyousi accused the movie of dehumanizing Muslims and glorifying the murder of Iraqis, and referred to Chris Kyle, the Navy SEAL featured in the film, as ‘a killer with no regard for human life.’

Since the release of ‘American Sniper,’ many white Americans have taken to social media to discuss how viewing this film has affected them. The results are truly appalling. For too many people (and let us be clear, one is too many), the film has bolstered the idea that Arabs and Muslims are less than human and somehow deserving of the devastation that has been wrought on their bodies by the U.S. military — and more.
They have sympathized more easily with a killer with no regard for human life than they have with the staggering numbers of people whose lives were taken by the hero of this film. ….

Enough with the assault and running guilt trip on Caucasians. I too, have seen and heard the phrase “towel head,” “Hakeem,” “Jihad John” and “Akbar” thrown at Muslims in countless instances since the September 11 Islamic terrorists’ attacks on U.S. soil, then again after the Boston Marathon Islamic terrorist attack, the Fort Hood Islamic terrorist attack on our military, etc. However, living in a “sanctuary city,” I would note that the people shouting these phrases are ALL non-whites.
UPDATE:The Missouri Students Association as of last Friday has decided to show the film, “American Sniper” as originally planned promising that it would “would use conversations fostered by the screening to ‘help cultivate an inclusive campus climate.”

The decision came after MSA met with veterans and members of the Muslim community on Monday to discuss objections to the film.
‘We have already begun to work with many students and administrators to address points that were brought up in discussion,’ the statement said. ‘Additional programming to educate the campus on these issues will be announced as plans come together….’

After failing to silence free speech, we can expect Muslims such as Farah El-Jayyousi to double-down on their anti-free speech propaganda before during and after the showing of American Sniper.

NOTE: While American Sniper played in Iraq to full theaters and enthusiastic crowds, the film was pulled from some theaters because Iraqi government officials claimed the film was about killing Muslims. However, the Kurds up against the Islamic State see things differently.

But before it was yanked from the theater, one Iraqi man named Gaith Mohammed said that it played to full and enthusiastic crowds. ‘Some people watching were just concentrating, but others were screaming ‘Fuck, shoot him! He has an IED, don’t wait for permission!!’’ he said of one of the film’s many tense scenes.
‘I love watching war movies because especially now they give me the strength to face ISIS,’ he continued, saying he did not find anything anti-Arab about the film. ‘No, why? The sniper was killing terrorists, the only thing that bothered me was when he said he didn’t know anything about the Quran….’
