This housing mess is the biggest fraud in the history of the United States and something tells me that it is not over yet, i.e., before Obama stepped a foot into the White House.

I remember getting a call from a family member back in 2000 who NEVER worked a day in her life.  She informed me that a real estate agent contacted her and asked her if she wanted to own her own home.  She said yes and the real estate agent said, all you have to do is give me your social security number and it is a done deal.

This woman was calling me to ask me my opinion but did not like the answer when I began to inquire as to how she proposes to pay for the home and to maintain it.

After several heated discussions (why ask if you are not going to like the reply), she decided against purchasing the home.

Then there is another distant family member who purchased a home under the same fraud. This woman worked but her income was limited.

For three or four years running, every time I called this woman, she was on the telephone re-working her mortgage with the bank.

How these people scammed the system, I do not know because it never occurred to me to be so dishonest but by re-working her loan, somehow she ended up with a new car, a new this, a new that and a trainload of debt.

????????????

Who the hell convinced these people that owning a house was a civil right or some crap?  If one cannot afford it, then be mature enough to do without.

Not to mention, now the government wants to buy these homes and rent them out to the former owners.

What this says to me is that these people who thought they were gaming the system have in their willingness to be a party to this fraud (or not), if Obama has his way set themselves up to become permanently enslaved to the government.

Therefore, I ask, who swindled whom here and has it occurred to anyone that the end game being laid out by the Obama administration may have been the plan all along?

Evil I know, but so Progressive.

OWS And M.L.K.? No Way! Conservative Black Minister Speaks Out Against Occupy The Dream Events

LOS ANGELES—Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Founder and President of BOND Action and The South Central L.A. Tea Party (SCLA TP) is blasting a coalition of liberal black pastors who have teamed up with organizers of the Occupy Wall Street movement for a series of protests labeled ‘Occupy The Dream.’ The first major action is scheduled for Monday, January 16 during the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Occupy The Dream leaders have put forth the following demands: 1.) Absolute funding of Federal Pell Grants (which, unlike loans, do not have to be repaid); 2.) A moratorium on foreclosures and reparations from banks for ‘predatory lending’ practices; 3.) Lastly, $100 Billion from Wall Street for job training and placement.

‘Occupy The Dream is a scam that seeks to rob American taxpayers and exploit Dr. King’s good name,’ said Rev. Peterson. ‘The black ministers taking part in these protests are shameless problem profiteers who have nothing in common with M.L.K. and are clueless about the spiritual aspect of King’s struggle for equality,’ added Rev. Peterson

Occupy The Dreamorganizers have called on their supporters to leave crutches and other prosthetic devices at the various Federal Reserve offices around the country to show how financial institutions are crippling residents and the economy. Leaders of the scheduled protests include Rev. Ben Chavis, the former head of the NAACP; Rev. Jamal Bryant, of Baltimore’s empowerment Temple Church; and rap mogul Russell Simmons.

Rev. Peterson said, ‘Occupy The Dream is a political tool of the Democratic Party organized to motivate entitlement minded blacks to show up to vote for Obama.’ ‘It’s time for the Democrat Party and their godless surrogates, i.e.: liberal black pastors, labor union leaders, and OWS organizers to stop trying to co-opt Dr. King’s legacy,’ said Rev. Peterson.”

‘Fortunately, modern technology provides a straightforward fix for these problems,’ Holder continued. ‘It should be the government’s responsibility to automatically register citizens to vote, by compiling — from databases that already exist — a list of all eligible residents in each jurisdiction….”

“According to the Los Angeles Times, with the exception of existing in locked freezers in Russia and U.S. labs, the smallpox virus was eradicated in 1978. Yet, in a no-bid contract, the Obama administration has given $443 million of American taxpayers’ money for a “experimental smallpox drug” to a bio-defense company, Siga, controlled by billionaire Democrat-donor Ron Perleman and whose board ex-SEIU boss Andy Stern sits on.

According to the Times:

‘When Siga complained that contracting specialists at the Department of Health and Human Services were resisting the company’s financial demands, senior officials replaced the government’s lead negotiator for the deal, interviews and documents show.

When Siga was in danger of losing its grip on the contract a year ago, the officials blocked other firms from competing.

Siga was awarded the final contract in May through a “sole-source” procurement in which it was the only company asked to submit a proposal.The contract calls for Siga to deliver 1.7 million doses of the drug for the nation’s biodefense stockpile. The price of approximately $255 per dose is well above what the government’s specialists had earlier said was reasonable, according to internal documents and interviews.
