“With the coming advent of ObamaCare, states that are bracing for the huge increase in Medicaid recipients are looking for a way to save money and they think they’ve found one; limiting the number of prescription drugs that Medicaid patients can obtain. The cost for Medicaid will skyrocket under Obamacare because of the expanded eligibility requirements.

As a result of the imminent financial crunch, seven states have tightened the limits on prescription drugs in the last two years, joining nine others that also set limits. Illinois only allows four brand-name drugs for Medicaid patients, Mississippi has a limit of two, and Arkansas adults are limited to six. In Alabama, Medicaid patients were only getting one brand-name drug per month, and HIV and psychiatric drugs were excluded, but on Aug. 1 the state will relax the limit to its previous level — four brand-name drugs — after the state saved more money than expected and received money as part of a settlement with a pharmaceutical company….”

For years, those who counted on the passage of Obamacare most for one reason or another were forewarned that Obamacare would hit these individuals first and the hardest.

Refusing to heed the warnings, this is the perfect example of “be careful what you wish for.”

The White House decision makers (IPAB or better known as the death panels) believe in eugenics; thus, those dependent upon Medicaid [and Medicare] in the sights of these death panels are deemed expendable aka sacrificial lambs.

“1.) IPAB rations health care

The Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) was created in President Obama’s Health Care law to help cut $500 billion out of Medicare over 10 years. The only tool it can use for this purpose is formulaic cuts to reimbursements for doctors and hospitals. The panel is barred from implementing or even proposing real reforms that would change how Medicare works. Medicare reimbursement rates are already low. Cutting them further will of necessity force many providers to stop accepting Medicare patients. For rural and disabled Medicare recipients, this could greatly impede access to care. If IPAB’s cuts are allowed to take effect, it will inevitably lead to rationing and care denials.

2.) IPAB punishes Health Care providers

IPAB forces Health Care providers to choose between cutting off access to their patients and eventually going bankrupt. Right after ObamaCare passed, Medicare’s top numbers-cruncher, the Chief Actuary, estimated that IPAB’s 10-years cuts will cause 15 percent of America’s hospitals to go out of business. By the way, none of the IPAB members is allowed to be a practicing physician….”

Florida Judge Strikes Down Obamacare; UNCONSTITUTIONAL

Hey, who is making all that noise?  What is that banging we are hearing?  That is the sound of nails pounding and sealing the demise of Obamacare. (See Judge’s ruling at bottom of post)

“Judge Roger Vinson, in Pensacola, Fla., ruled that as a result of the unconstitutionality of the ‘individual mandate’ that requires people to buy insurance, the entire law must be declared void.

‘I must reluctantly conclude that Congress exceeded the bounds of its authority in passing the act with the individual mandate. That is not to say, of course, that Congress is without power to address the problems and inequities in our health care system. The health care market is more than one-sixth of the national economy, and without doubt Congress has the power to reform and regulate this market. That has not been disputed in this case. The principal dispute
has been about how Congress chose to exercise that power here,’ Vinson wrote.

‘While the individual mandate was clearly ‘necessary and essential’ to the act as drafted, it is not ‘necessary and essential’ to health care reform in general,’ he continued. ‘Because the individual mandate is unconstitutional and not severable, the entire act must be declared void….”

WE all are aware that Obamacare is unconstitutional. I will go so far as to say that even Obama, Pelosi, Reid and company are aware of its unconstitutionality, so why waste our time and waste billions of precious taxpayer dollars?

POWER.  Obamacare has never been about insuring little children, the elderly, those with pre-existing conditions or the poor.  This Obamination is solely about POWER and the ABUSE OF POWER OVER THE PEOPLE by Progressives.  Progressives hoped even thought that we, the people were thought to be too stupid to see through the left’s agenda.

Of course, such condescending arrogant elitists are of the conclusion that non-elitists are simply too stupid and blind to put the pieces together.

Justice was served today but the fight continues.  Obamacare must be repealed.

FDA Set To Cut Off 17,000 Women Annually From Lifesaving Drug, Avastin

This is extremely unfortunate.  It is unfortunate because it did not have to happen.  Did we not shout from the rooftops a year ago that this would happen?  Did we not warn the country about Obamacare, government run death panels, David Blumenthal, Ezekiel Emanuel,  Sebelius, the USPSTF, comparative effectiveness and breast cancer screening?

“Obama’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is due to take up the case of Avastin, a cancer drug that successfully treats some 17,000 women annually. With a coming December 17 decision, the FDA seems poised to take this drug away from these patients quite despite the fact that their doctors find the drug effective.

The most dangerous period of time in Washington D.C. is that time we call the lame duck session (I call it the zombie congress; dead men walking). It is that time when those elected officials that are about to be ingloriously shipped off home for the last time due to losing election results make a mad scramble to grab for as much as they can get.

In the case of regulatory agencies like the FDA the lame duck session is not treated in exactly the same manner, but it is sure that when congress is about to have its majority party change over with the president’s party on the losing side of the switch, regulatory agencies often try to push through favored policies before the new congress is seated and before that new congress is in a position to put any pressure on those agencies to prevent them from pushing the president’s agenda.

We are currently seeing this lame duck scramble happening in Obama’s regulatory agencies. The FCC was pushing its ruinous Net Neutrality ideas, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has been changing labor rules to favor unions, and the FDA is about to eliminate Avastin putting at risk the lives and cancer treatment regimens of thousands of women suffering from metastatic breast cancer.….”

A year ago, patriots were desperately trying to inform the masses about the downside of Obamacare, including the death panels, the real meaning of Obama’s red and blue pill, its effect on the disabled and the terminally ill.

One of my biggest debates with those in my community who voted for Barack Obama was they were ignorant enough to pin their lives and their hopes on Obamacare.  I effortlessly tried to warn many that they would be the among the first hit and hit the hardest by the negative effects of Obamacare.

Most of those I spoke to could not move past the thought of  FREE HEALTHCARE.  I pointed out often that so-called FREE HEALTHCARE does not mean QUALITY HEALTHCARE.  They did not get it.

Such a decision by the FDA can come to no good; and to think this is only the beginning.

“This Saturday, one of Greece’s most respected newspapers, To Vima, reported that the nation’s largest government health insurance provider would no longer pay for special footwear for diabetes patients.  Amputation is cheaper, says the Benefits Division of the state insurance provider.

The new policy was announced in a letter to the Pan-Hellenic Federation of People with Diabetes. The Federation disputes the science behind the decision of the Benefits Division. In a statement, the group argues that the decision is contrary to evidence as presented in the international scientific literature.

Greece’s National Healthcare System was created in the early 1980s, during the tenure of Prime Minister Andreas Papandreou. Papandreou, an academic, won election under the slogan, Αλλαγή, which is the Greek word for Change.”
