Islam is hard-wired with a “conquering” mentality that dates back to its earliest days, says a noted author, and that mentality was on display Friday at the Washington National Cathedral.
Even in a service billed as a symbolic olive branch to Christianity, celebrated inside an iconic church, Islam’s air of supremacy could not help but leak out, says Dr. Andrew Bostom, author of several books on Islam including “The Legacy of Jihad: Islamic Holy War and the Fate of Non-Muslims” in 2005 and “The Legacy of Islamic Antisemitism: From Sacred Texts to Solemn History” in 2008.
As reported by the Center for Security Policy, concerned figures in the religious, national security and human rights communities sent a letter to the Washington National Cathedral urging them to cancel the jummah because of the significance of November 14th , a jummah in a Christian church in the nation’s capitol to Muslims around the world.
The group’s letter notes:
November 14th, 2014, will be the 100th anniversary of the last sitting Caliph of the Ottoman Empire’s call for jihad against non-believers. The call for violent jihad against non-believers directly resulted in a genocide against the Armenian, Assyrian and Greek residents of Turkey. And while for most westerners the November 14th Jihad declaration is little more than a footnote in the annals of World War I, for Islamic supremacists like those associated with Muslim Brotherhood, it is a date pregnant with meaning. To permit such a public display, and permit such groups to occupy the National Cathedral of the United States on this date represents an affront to the memories of those who were killed as a result of this genocide, and an affront to those Christians across the Middle East who are currently under threat by those who seek to emulate it….
Clearly noted in the letter is the Muslim Brotherhood connections to Muslim groups holding their service of conquest [my emphasis] and “the goal of the Muslim Brotherhood is to wage a ‘grand jihad in eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house….’’

As you know by now, Cathedral officials because of political correctness (and a nice payout) dismissed the warnings. Thus, the Washington National Cathedral now conquered by Muslims is no longer a Christian venue. Expect Muslims now the refer to it as a mosque-cathedral.
In spite of the cowards, one Christian, a woman stood up and spoke out in defense of Jesus and Christian principles shortly before being brusquely escorted out of a former Christian venue.
Take note of the imam’s expression as the woman, a Christian testifies that, “Jesus Christ died on that cross over there… Jesus Christ is our lord and savior!”

the carefully scripted ceremony was marred once when one well-dressed, middle-age woman in the audience suddenly rose and began shouting that “America was founded on Christian principles. . . Leave our church alone!” She was swiftly ushered out by security aides, and the service continued…
