Worse than what anyone could have imagined, Democrats are going hog-wild in a massive power grab and spending campaign that will accelerate the collapse of our bankrupt nation and emptying the pockets of teetering Americans before losing the House majority.
Their take no prisoners lame duck strategy will successfully shrink America’s middle class spiraling millions below the poverty level leaving no doubt that it is all intentional, in the name of social justice and for the collective good.
All week Progressives have been on display performing countless dog and pony shows before the media and across the airwaves. Progressives have been roaring about how (i) extending the present tax rates would further hurt the deficit; and (ii) the Republicans voting down a $250 payment for seniors on social security.
In reference to extending the present tax rates, it is OUR money so how bad can you and me holding on to OUR money be for US.
Enough of the diversionary tactics.
This is really about Progressives not getting their hands deeper into our pockets but have no fear that has not stopped their ruthless agenda to filch the coffers and pockets of Americans.
Yesterday, progressive thugs and circus clowns unrolled a vigorous spending agenda lefties intend to shove down the throats of Americans before year’s end but not before Nancy Pelosi instituted martial law in the House to speed up a large-scale lame duck agenda.
House Democrats institute ‘martial law’ to speed ambitious lame duck agenda
“House Democrats Wednesday passed a resolution allowing them to rapidly bring any bill without normal procedural delays until Dec. 18, arguing the move will help them speed passage of their ambitious agenda for the remainder of the lame duck session.
Republicans slammed the move as Democrats instituting ‘martial law’ in the House.
‘It’s really martial law rule,’ said Republican Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart of Florida, blasting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for ‘not fulfill[ing]’ her vows to usher in the most ethical, open and transparent Congress in history.
Republican floor staff warned GOP members of Congress in an e-mail that under the resolution, H. RES. 1752, ‘the Democrat Majority can bring up any bill, at any time, through December 18, 2010, with very little notice….’
‘The Speaker has closed rule after closed rule, because she’s afraid to have her caucus take votes on Republican amendments,’ the source said.’..”
As you can hear from the audio and have realized by now, such legislation contains all sorts of legislation rammed with tons of pork and expensive goodies as Christmas gifts to the Democrats’ progressive friends.
I do not need to tell you who will be picking up the tab for this massive pig fest.

Reparations? When Pigford Flies
“One of the fruits of this lame-duck session has been the approval of $1.15 billion to the black farmers and $3.4 billion to the American Indians to settle the two lawsuits. At last count, more than 94,000 black farmers have signed up for payments under the settlement.
Based on census data, however, there were only 33,000 or so black farmers in existence during the period in question. Based on that number and the number of denied applications, the department had originally estimated that only 2,000 such claims would be filed.
This is what happens when government rings the dinner bell, and it’s an indication of just how loose the rules are for vetting past injustices, real or not. Throw in the cult of victimology permeating modern liberalism and you have a cash cow ready to be milked. Victims will come out of the woodwork….”
House Approves Massive Catchall Government Spending Bill
“The measure wraps a dozen unfinished spending bills into a single measure.
The bill would cap the agencies’ annual operating budgets at the $1.2 trillion approved for the recently finished budget year. That’s a $46 billion cut of more than 3 percent from President Obama’s request.
It includes $159 billion to prosecute the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq next year.
There are many exceptions to the freeze. Health care programs for veterans and the military would get a boost, and people serving in the military would get a 1.4 percent pay raise.
Critics blasted the bill’s content and the manner in which it was passed.
‘None of these spending adjustments or changes in policy were ever debated or considered by the Appropriations Committee or the House this year,’ said Rep. Jerry Lewis, R-Calif., the ranking member on the House Appropriations Committee.
‘Rather than simply keeping the government running, this bill picks winners and losers among agencies and programs across government by moving $30 billion between various accounts,’ he said.
Democrats note that without passing the bill, the government would shut down.”
Message from Democrats to Americans, “it wasn’t me and even if it was, we aren’t done yet. P.S.: FU America, oh yeah and the Republicans too.”
Reid challenges Republican pledge to withhold Senate votes until demands are met
“The Senate majority leader said Wednesday that he was going to blow off the threat from Senate Republicans to withhold support for any measure until the government is funded and the Bush-era tax rate extension is in place, and file for cloture on a host of bills anyway.
‘For this entire Congress, we have been, as Muhammad Ali better said it than I, ‘rope a dope.’ They stall, they have excuses for not doing things,’ Reid, a former boxer, said of Republicans. ‘Throwing up these artificial roadblocks is just foolishness. I mean, what in the world do they accomplish by saying, ‘we’re not going to allow you to do the START Treaty, the defense authorization bill until the tax bill is completed and the spending is done’?’
In short, Reid is refusing to abide by the terms set by Republicans and hold votes on a number of measures, even if it means they don’t get passed.”
