~ “I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts.” Ronald Reagan.
Another day, another call for the resignation of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Over Christmas weekends two Chicagoans were shot and killed by Chicago police officers, one a young man reportedly brandishing a baseball bat, the other a woman who is said to have been shot by accident. USA Today reports:
‘Embattled Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel will cut short his family vacation in Cuba and head home Tuesday after a police shooting Saturday that claimed two lives, one of them a woman who law enforcement admits was killed accidentally by an officer[…]
A dossier of sorts was compiled by a police officer on an Connecticut citizen organizing an anti-Common Core informational session. Maybe the police officer didn’t like that the dissenter is a Republican or is a ‘birther’. Is dissent by a citizen with such credentials considered patriotic or a threat to the State?
‘One day in late August, local political activist Arthur “Cort” Wrotnowski placed flyers on car windshields in the Island Beach ferry parking lot, hoping to drum up a crowd that would listen to his take on the perils of the Common Core, the controversial federal and state educational reform initiative.
His flyers were not compelling enough to get people to give up the outdoors on one of the last beautiful Friday nights of the summer; only two people attended the early evening event at Town Hall on August 28. But the one-page notice did catch the eye of Greenwich Police Captain Mark Kordick, head of the Detective Division and an almost three-decade veteran of the force. He immediately drafted an email to School Superintendent William McKersie, informing the schools chief of the anti-Common Core meeting. That set off a chain of events that resulted Thursday in First Selectmen and Police Commissioner Peter Tesei starting an investigation into Captain Kordick’s behavior.
At issue in the investigation are questions about the proper role of police…
This is not my America or the America I want for my grandchildren. Captain Kordick’s actions are in fact “surveillance,” i.e., “surreptitious monitoring” and a subtle form of bullying by an officer of the court.
I always suspected that Janet Napolitano’s “if you see something, say something” meme was shutting down voices of dissent from those who refuse to go along but going after someone because he or she is holding a forum on the perils of Common Core is an overreach and abuse of power.
Kordick’s rationalization of infringing upon Mr. Wrotnowski’s right of free speech and spying on his activities brings to mind DHS’ Lexicon of extremists dispatched years ago to law enforcement across the country.
Screenshot of Army National Guard service member, Will Stack, recounting his experience with Caucasian police officer during a traffic stop
A video posted to Facebook by 22-year-old Army National Guard service member Will Stack recounting his experience during a recent traffic stop with a Caucasian police officer (not that it should matter but apparently does for many) in Lexington County, South Carolina has gone viral but not for the reason that many may suspect.
The video, a must see, comes in the wake of the North Charleston shooting of Walter Scott (not far from Lexington) by a former police officer of North Charleston Police Department.
According to Stack, he was pulling out of the Lexington County Courthouse in an attempt to make a left turn. Stack said he noticed the lane in front of him was full and the median was not, so he drove the car through the median to get to the left turn lane.
Seconds later, Stack says he was pulled over by the police officer, who immediately asked to see his license, registration, and proof of insurance. …
“The point of this is to say that I am an African-American male, this gentleman was Caucasian. There were no problems. He did his job, I did what I was supposed to do, and that was it…”
Kennewick, WA — A disturbing yet incredibly revealing video was uploaded to YouTube yesterday which shows a Kennewick police officer admit to a slew of misdeeds.
The video starts out with the officer proclaiming how stopping these teenagers on the last day of the month, just helped him reach his quota.
“This is the last day of the month. I get every stat I need just off of you guys,” says the officer as he begins his rights violating confession.
“So you guys gotta make quota, huh?” asks the detained teen.
“We don’t have a quota. We have expectations. And what that means is, you will make so many arrests a month, you should write so many tickets a month, and you should haul so many dumbasses to jail a month. If we’re gonna pay you $100,000 a year, we should expect something back from you, shouldn’t we?” says the officer.
When the man replies, ‘yes’ that he understands what the officer just said, the cop then asks, “Would you like to be part of my quota tonight?”
The young man then asks the cop, “On what grounds [would you arrest me]?”
The story does not end with the ticket. The video has since gone viral. The author of the above article is updating the article when necessary.
So far, we have come to learn that Kennewick Police Department initiated an internal investigation of the incident, which has gone viral across social media.
The officer is in the video Glenn Ball, a 21-year veteran of the Kennewick Police Department. Ball remains on active duty during the investigation and according to a press release put out by the Kennewick Police Department, “Based on what we have seen in the video, the officer’s comments are not consistent with our values and are not consistent with our expectations of how our officers should interact with the public.”

They want riots, they want martial law. Ferguson is a trial balloon for the entire country.
Again, this is not about race so put down the kool-aid and burn the race card. This is about a totalitarian regime ceasing power over Americans.
Now that the genie is out of the bottle, the ruling class is desperate to shove it back in. Thus, they had to deliver a peaceful protest last night. They are counting on the short attention span of many Americans.
Last night’s celebrationprotest celebration and all that kumbayah crap going on on Twitter was an illusion to make it seem as if everything was all right with the world. Nothing to see here folks, go away.
Everything is not alright with the world and things are definitely not right on the streets across America.
Even worse is that many bought the dog and pony show put on with the carried out with the collusion of the media. That butt kicking they took Wednesday night must have had an effect.
Peaceful Assembly Suspended on Fourth Night of Protests In Ferguson, Alderman Arrested, Two Reporters Detained as SWAT INTENTIONALLY Targets Reporters
As reported by KSDK, the crowd was smaller on the fourth consecutive night of protests than it had been the other three on the streets of Ferguson, St. Louis, Missouri.F
Many of those still protesting are outsiders stirring up trouble.
Early Wednesday, the city of Ferguson requested that vigils and protests be held during daylight hours which Wednesday’s protesters attempted to do.
They were met with a heavily armed and more aggressive police state, (70-100 members of SWAT in riot gear) whose marching orders were to squash any protests held during the day or night.
In other words, “Your right to assembly is not being denied” until it has been and even then, it depends on whom one asks.
As one might guess, it went downhill from there. Some protesters threw bottles, rocks and molotov cocktails. SWAT employed urban warfare tactics threw tear gas canisters, smoke grenades, shot rubber bullets and used sound cannons.
1 St. Louis Alderman, Antonio French who has been out there every night since the shooting of 18 year old Mike Brown tweeting events as they unfold was arrested last night and charged with unlawful assembly and not listening.
@AntonioFrench being booked now. Not sure what the charge is yet. Was ordered out of his car and arrested because he “didn’t listen”.
Rumor has it that French will be held for 24 hours. The detainment of the alderman served only to make a bad situation worse as news of his arrest spread across Twitter like wild fire. Protesters converged upon the police station to demand French’s release followed by an MRAP.
St. Louis police did not appreciate the media’s presence at ground zero and, therefore, intentionally targeted journalists for their own good (yeah, right). Reporters Wesley Lowery of the Washington Post Ryan Reilly from the Huffington Post were detained and then released for filming officers in McDonald’s, a staging area for journalists covering the protests. At the time of their arrests, the reporters were preparing to file their stories and charging their phones.
Got no explaination at any point why in custody other than “trespassing” – at a mcdonalds where we were customers — Wesley Lowery (@WesleyLowery) August 14, 2014
With the urgent need to control the message, SWAT ordered McDonalds to close immediately after the arrest of two reporters using its Wi-Fi to file their reports.
Infowars reporter Joe Biggs was shot in the kidneys Wednesday night by St. Louis Co. Police using flash bangs and rubber bullets during protests ….The militarized police, equipped with combat armor and Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles, unloaded on the media and demonstrators near the burnt down QuikTrip gas station on West Florissant Ave. around 9pm Central after someone threw a Motolov cocktail on top of a nearby car wash, lighting it completely on fire….
What are the odds that last night’s assault on anything breathing by the Missouri police state will backfire, as journalists from all over the country will be tempted to converge upon Ferguson.
