~ “I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts.” Ronald Reagan.
The truth comes out when we think no one else is listening.
On Thursday a United Nations interpreter, unaware that her microphone was on, uttered words of truth in reaction to the General Assembly’s adoption of nine politically-motivated resolutions condemning Israel, and zero resolutions on the rest of the world….
Egypt’s Prime Minister Hisham Kandil cried on Friday and kissed the dead child’s forehead, calling him a ‘martyr.’ CNN called him ‘another victim of an [Israeli] airstrike.’ Newspapers showed his photo as an example of the Palestinian civilians killed by Israel’s ongoing military campaign against militants in Gaza.
The only problem with that narrative is that 4-year-old Mahmoud Sadallah was killed by a Hamas rocket that fell short in Gaza instead of its intended target: Israel. According to an Israeli military statement Sunday, ‘Ninety-nine rockets fired from Gaza have crashed back into Gaza in the last four days. Hamas fires from civilian areas…and hits its own people.’
Pro-Israel blogger Elder of Ziyon reviewed media reports on the incident and wrote: ‘The IDF did not launch any airstrikes in Gaza while Egyptian PM Kandil was in Gaza.’ Israel had agreed to a temporary ceasefire while Kandil was visiting Gaza on Friday, as a gesture to Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi. Even so, terror groups continued firing on Israel during the diplomatic visit….
Islam, the religion of peace. It is unfathomable that CNN, the anti-Semites that they are would grab hold to such vile propaganda as if it was the winning shot and run with it. See video below:
WARNING: GRAPHIC
Shame on propagandists/anti-Semites CNN and Hamas. Yet, this is exactly what one expects of Islam the religion of peace. CNN should know better but then they have plagiarist and anti-Israel, Fareed Zakaria.
Pursuant to an excerpt from ElderofZiyonbelow, CNN issued via jackrabbit Don Lemon a retraction.
I just heard CNN retract the story that falsely claimed that an Israeli bomb had killed Mahmoud Sadallah, the child cynically used for a photo-op with Egyptian PM Kandil and Hamas terrorist leader Ismail Haniyeh.
The correction was aired on the Don Lemon program. (Lemon has not been very friendly towards the Israeli narrative from what I can tell).
For those who would the CNN video today, tomorrow, next week, next month or next year (and they will), they would gleam from the video (if they did not know any better) that Israel through its airstrikes actually murdered a little boy.
Lemon’s/CNN’s empty hearted retraction is unacceptable.
Sara Sidner who has yet to retract her video and CNN are complicit in the espousal of Islamic terrorism and propaganda.
As reported by Twitchy, the heat is on CNN and Sara Sidner to retract Sidner’s propaganda video and the liese spoused therein about Israel killing Mahmoud Sadallahvia use of hashtag #CNNLies.
I write today as a proud American and a proud Jew.
Jews around the world are concerned today. We are concerned about the nuclear ambitions of an Iranian regime that brags about its genocidal intentions against Israel. We are concerned that the Jewish state is being isolated and delegitimized.
Mr. President, we are concerned about the dramatic deterioration of diplomatic relations between the United States and Israel.
The Israeli housing bureaucracy made a poorly timed announcement and your Administration branded it an “insult.” This diplomatic faux pas was over the fourth stage of a seven stage planning permission process – a plan to build homes years from now in a Jewish area of Jerusalem that under any peace agreement would remain an integral part of Israel.
Our concern grows to alarm as we consider some disturbing questions. Why does the thrust of this Administration’s Middle East rhetoric seem to blame Israel for the lack of movement on peace talks? After all, it is the Palestinians, not Israel, who refuse to negotiate…..”
Finally. I thought everyone was either asleep at the wheel or in Obama’s pocket. I am glad that someone is finally addressing Obama’s betrayal of Israel. I do not believe that Barack Obama will give a damn but he must be called to task for his offense.
I regret that so many did not see long ago through the trickery and deception of this snake oil salesman, especially my Jewish friends, whom I warned that Obama would betray Israel.
That being said, Obama must go. His betrayal is complete and he cannot be trusted with a second term in the Oval office.
How is it that Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, feminists, women’s human rights organizations and the left as a whole remains so quiet not uttering one word against these atrocities? Does anyone even give a damn or will we turn a blind eye to the offenses committed by those who practice an ideology that sees a woman’s worth as half that of a man’s? H/t Atlas Shrugs.
Two activists have exposed a disturbing phenomenon that they say is an open secret within the ‘peace camp’: female ‘peace’ activists are routinely harassed and raped by the Arabs of Judea and Samaria with whom they have come to identify. They say the phenomenon has gotten worse lately and that many foreign women end up as wives of local Arabs against their will, but cannot escape their new homes.
Roni Aloni Sedovnik, a feminist activist, penned an article in News1– an independent website run by respected investigative reporter Yoav Yitzchak – under the heading ‘The Left’s Betrayal of Female Peace Activists Who were Sexually Assaulted.’
‘A nauseous atrocity has been going on for a long time behind the scenes at the leftists’ demonstration at Bil’in, Naalin and Sheikh Jarrah [Shimon HaTzaddik],’ she writes. ‘A dark secret that threatens to smash the basic ideological values upon which the demand to end the occupation of the Territories rests.’
It turns out, she explains, that when female peace activists from Israel and abroad come out to Judea and Samaria and demonstrate against the Israeli ‘occupation,’ they are assaulted sexually by the Arab men whom they have come to help. These are not isolated incidents, Aloni-Sedovnik stresses. Rather, this is an ‘ongoing and widespread’ phenomenon that includes verbal and physical abuse. She accuses the ‘peace’ camp of purposely covering up the trend so as not to offend ‘the Palestinians and their heritage, which sees women as sexual objects.’
Media cover-up
Aloni-Sedovnik cites two specific cases which she has knowledge of – one is a case of rape and another is “severe sexual harassment.” The attackers in both cases, she stresses, were familiar with the victims and knew that they were “peace activists.”
The rape occurred several months ago in the village of Umm Salmona, near Bethlehem. The victim, an American activist, wanted to press charges but leftist activists put pressure on her not to do so, so as not to damage the struggle against the ‘occupation.’
The second case involved an Israeli activist who took part in the demonstrations at Shimon HaTzaddik neighborhood in eastern Jerusalem, where the High Court ruled that Jewish families may move into homes that they have owned for generations. This woman filed a complaint with the police but retracted it after “severe and unfair pressure” from the demonstrations’ organizers, according to Aloni-Sedovnik. Furthermore, the organizers appealed to demonstrators to dress modestly when they come to the Arab neighborhoods and suggested that they wear head scarves…”
Another holiday, another emergency and another Obama appointee fails to give up their holiday to tend to the emergencies that often occur during the most inopportune moments.
Now that we’re on the discussion, what is up with the Obama administration and their union shop mentality? Such passivity, inaction and job assurance are traits familiar to workers who have long established tenure in union shops.
Someone has apparently failed to inform the Obama administration that they are not union workers. In addition, much like the labor unions who have destroyed this country, they’ll be damned if they give up their holidays, no matter how much they’re paid and how big the emergency.
Obama administration motto: Keep your head low, except on payday and have an excuse or someone to blame at the ready. Damn, talk about cushy jobs.
It should be noted that Fox News has referred to Susan Rice’s Memorial Day absence as “low profile.” I can only surmise that “low profile” is the new buzz word for “missing in action” aka “mia.”
“Critics of the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations questioned her decision to stay in Washington during Monday’s marathon emergency meeting over the Israeli raid on a Gaza aid flotilla — though a U.N. official says she was ‘managing the situation’ the entire time.
Susan Rice, who lives in the nation’s capital and works most days in New York City, where the U.N. is headquartered, was with her family on Memorial Day when the news broke that the clash between Israeli forces and pro-Palestinian activists had left at least nine dead and dozens more wounded.
In her place, Deputy U.S. Representative Alejandro Wolff successfully pressed the U.N. Security Council to tone down its rebuke of Israel. That is in keeping with other countries, like permanent Security Council members Russia and China, which sent their deputy ambassadors to attend the session on the U.S. holiday.
A U.N. official said Rice was fully engaged the entire time, ‘managing the situation and in constant communication.’ The official said Wolff attended the marathon 12-hour meeting because he was already in New York, and that Rice was the one giving the orders from Washington. She has since traveled to New York.
But one of Rice’s foremost critics slammed the U.S. ambassador, calling her absence part of a pattern of passivity.
Richard Grenell, who was appointed by George W. Bush and served as U.S. spokesman at the United Nations under four different ambassadors during Bush’s administration, called it ‘troublesome’ that Rice would remain in Washington while the crisis was unfolding.
‘It’s just unbelievable that Susan Rice didn’t go out there,’ Grenell said. ‘She had plenty of time to get to New York.’
Grenell previously has accused Rice of not spending enough time in New York and not pressing U.S. interests at the United Nations forcefully enough.
‘She clearly wants to be the popular ambassador and has demonstrated that she’s unwilling to take on the controversial issues,’ he said….”
Barack Hussein Obama is the first president in the history of the United States to be anti-American. Barack Hussein Obama is the first president in the history of the United States to be anti-Israel. Barack Hussein Obama is the first Muslim president in the history of the United States, the first communist to sully the office and I pray the last.
It is not my intent to rub this in the face of my Jewish friends and associates whom I love dearly, but I sent up the flares long before Barry Sotero became president.
Sounding like a broken record, I pleaded, ‘don’t vote for this man’ reiterating time after time that Barack Hussein Obama was not the man we see before us. I warned everyone who would listen that judging by the company he keeps, his upbringing and background, such a betrayal was in his blood; and that once in the Oval Office, this Judas would reveal his true self, turning on Israel with a vengeance.
Comfortably in place in the Oval Office, Barack Hussein Obama without shame has done just that.
Sotero’s disrespectful and humiliating treatment of Binyamin Netanyahu is not only a disgrace to the office of the president of the United States; it has defiled both countries and its people.
“For a head of government to visit the White House and not pose for photographers is rare. For a key ally to be left to his own devices while the President withdraws to have dinner in private was, until this week, unheard of. Yet that is how Binyamin Netanyahu was treated by President Obama on Tuesday night, according to Israeli reports on a trip viewed in Jerusalem as a humiliation.
After failing to extract a written promise of concessions on settlements, Mr Obama walked out of his meeting with Mr Netanyahu but invited him to stay at the White House, consult with advisers and ‘let me know if there is anything new’, a US congressman, who spoke to the Prime Minister, said.
‘It was awful,’ the congressman said. One Israeli newspaper called the meeting ‘a hazing in stages’, poisoned by such mistrust that the Israeli delegation eventually left rather than risk being eavesdropped on a White House telephone line. Another said that the Prime Minister had received ‘the treatment reserved for the President of Equatorial Guinea’.
Left to talk among themselves Mr Netanyahu and his aides retreated to the Roosevelt Room. He spent a further half-hour with Mr Obama and extended his stay for a day of emergency talks to try to restart peace negotiations. However, he left last night with no official statement from either side. He returned to Israel yesterday isolated after what Israeli media have called a White House ambush for which he is largely to blame.
Sources said that Mr Netanyahu failed to impress Mr Obama with a flow chart purporting to show that he was not responsible for the timing of announcements of new settlement projects in east Jerusalem. Mr Obama was said to be livid when such an announcement derailed the visit to Israel by Joe Biden, the Vice-President, this month and his anger towards Israel does not appear to have cooled.
Robert Gibbs, the White House press secretary, cast doubt on minor details in Israeli accounts of the meeting but did not deny claims that it amounted to a dressing down for the Prime Minister, whose refusal to freeze settlements is seen in Washington as the main barrier to resuming peace talks….”
Shameful but true is that there is nothing that Netanyahu could do short of pulling the Israelis out of Israel that would appease Obama the racist.
“Arab foreign ministers gathered in the Libyan city of Surt in preparation for Saturday’s Arab League summit announced their plan to more than triple aid to Palestinians living in East Jerusalem from $150 million to $500 million in response to the construction of new Israeli settlements, Secretary General Amr Moussa told reporters Friday….
Arab leaders now appear to be taking their cues from the White House, which has dug its heels in against Israel after failing to secure a settlement freeze last year. Reactions in the Arab press suggested the crisis in U.S.–Israel relations has improved Obama’s image, although many remain skeptical that anything positive will come out of the row.
‘It is time to stop accusing Barack Obama of ‘failure’ because he did not deliver the solution he promised to the Arabs quickly and on a silver platter,’ wrote Raghida Dargham (Arabic link) in the Saudi-funded pan-Arab daily Al Hayat. ‘Enough sarcasm and cynicism. It is time for a new way of thinking.”
Hamas, Friends of Islam and other Islamic nut bags now deem Israel fair game because of their brethren, Barack Hussein Obama.
