President Donald J. Trump Announces Intent to Nominate Personnel to Key Administration Posts

President Donald J. Trump today announced his intent to nominate the following individuals to key positions in his Administration:

Jeffery Martin Baran of Virginia to be a Member of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for a five-year term beginning July 1, 2018.  Mr. Baran currently serves as a member of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, a position he has held since October 2014.  Prior to his tenure on the Commission, he served as Staff Director for Energy and Environment for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce.  Previously, Mr. Baran served on the Committee staff as senior counsel from 2011 to 2014, and as counsel from 2009 to 2010.  He served as counsel on the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Government Reform from 2003 to 2008.  From 2001 to 2003, Mr. Baran worked as a law clerk for Judge Lesley Wells of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.  Mr. Baran received a B.A. and an M.A. from Ohio University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.  He lives with his wife and three children in Arlington, Virginia.

Michael T. Evanoff of Arkansas to be an Assistant Secretary of State, Diplomatic Security.  Mr. Evanoff is the Vice President for Asset Protection & Security at International Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. in Arkansas, a position he has held since 2014.  Previously he served as Chief Security Officer at Coca-Cola in Zug, Switzerland and Athens, Greece and as Global Director of Security at Och-Ziff Capital Management Group in New York.  He served as a special agent in the Department of State Bureau of Diplomatic Security from 1985 to 2011, holding senior posts with Overseas Security Advisory Council, NATO Office of Security, Secretary of State Protection Detail, and eight U.S. Missions overseas.  He was also diplomatic security liaison officer to the U.S. European Command in Stuttgart, Germany.  Mr. Evanoff earned a B.S. at Eastern Kentucky University.  He and his wife, Kate Milner Evanoff, have a two-year old son, Luke.

Andrei Iancu of California, to be Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Department of Commerce.  Mr. Iancu is currently the Managing Partner of Irell & Manella LLP, where his practice focuses on intellectual property law.  Mr. Iancu has advised plaintiffs and defendants across a wide variety of industries.  He has appeared in front of the Patent and Trademark Office, the U.S. International Trade Commission, U.S. district courts, and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  He has published and spoken on intellectual property issues, and taught patent law at UCLA.  Mr. Iancu earned his J.D., M.S. in mechanical engineering, and B.S. in aerospace engineering, from UCLA.  Prior to law school, Mr. Iancu was an engineer at Hughes Aircraft.

Adam I. Klein of the District of Columbia to be a Member and Chairman of the Privacy & Civil Liberties Oversight Board.  Mr. Klein is the Robert M. Gates Senior Fellow at the Center for a New American Security, where his research centers on the intersection of national security policy and law.  He previously served as a law clerk to Justice Antonin Scalia of the U.S. Supreme Court and Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.  He has also worked on national security policy at the RAND Corporation, at the 9/11 Public Discourse Project (the nonprofit successor to the 9/11 Commission), and as a legislative assistant in the office of Rep. C.W. “Bill” Young.  He is a graduate of Columbia Law School and Northwestern University.

Jones did say one thing that was correct, i.e., “it did not work.”  Since Obama’s inauguration, Americans have been forced under tyranny to endure inept and harmful policies legislated under a Progressive Congress, Senate or through a directive pushed through by the monarchy.

Consequently, Americans can be certain that any policies implemented during the next four years will only succeed to make an already painful state of affairs even more so.

Indeed America, the bodies are piling up on the beach.  Obama’s beach.

Finally, all of the above once put into proper perspective, would say one thing and one thing only.  Progressives are the real traitors not Republicans.

Bitter cold inside a disaster shelter

…Brian Sotelo is a man who has finally reached his breaking point.

Anger drips from every word as he peers out at the tops of the white tents rising over the trees in the distance. The depth of despair in his eyes is difficult to fathom.

And he makes it clear he’s was not going down without a fight.

We stood and talked in the cool morning air a short distance up the road after security at the front gate threatened to have our cars removed outside the entrance to what Sotelo’s identification tag calls ‘Camp Freedom,’ even though it more closely resembles a prison camp….

…Sitting there last night you could see your breath,’ said Sotelo. ‘At (Pine Belt) the Red Cross made an announcement that they were sending us to permanent structures up here that had just been redone, that had washing machines and hot showers and steady electric, and they sent us to tent city. We got (expletive).

‘The elections are over and here we are. There were Blackhawk helicopters flying over all day and night. They have heavy equipment moving past the tents all night.’

Welcome to the part of the disaster where people start falling through the cracks.

No media is allowed inside the fenced complex…

…As Sotelo tells it, when it became clear that the residents were less than enamored with their new accommodations Wednesday night and were letting the outside world know about it, officials tried to stop them from taking pictures, turned off the WiFi and said they couldn’t charge their smart phones because there wasn’t enough power….

Sandy refugees say life in tent city feels like prison (excerpts)

…The post-storm housing — a refugee camp on the grounds of the Monmouth Park racetrack – is in lockdown, with security guards at every door, including the showers.

No one is allowed to go anywhere without showing their I.D. Even to use the bathroom, “you have to show your badge,” said Amber Decamp, a 22-year-old whose rental was washed away in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

The mini city has no cigarettes, no books, no magazines, no board games, no TVs, and no newspapers or radios. On Friday night, in front of the mess hall, which was serving fried chicken and out-of-the-box, just-add-water potatoes, a child was dancing and dancing — to nothing….

…the information blackout. Outside of the tightly guarded community on Friday, word was spreading that the Department of Human Services would aim to move residents to the racetrack clubhouse on Saturday….

…But inside the tent city…no one had heard anything…’They treat us like we’re prisoners,’ says Ashley Sabol, 21, of Seaside Heights, New Jersey. ‘It’s bad to say, but we honestly feel like we’re in a concentration camp.’

Sabol, who is unemployed and whose rental home was washed away in the hurricane, remembers being woken up on Wednesday at the shelter she was staying in at Toms River High School. Conditions there were ‘actually fine,’ said Sabol.

Sabol was told that she had half an hour to pack: everyone was getting shipped to hotels in Wildwood, New Jersey, where they would be able to re-acquaint themselves with showers, beds and a door.

Sabol and about 50 other people boarded a New Jersey Transit bus, which drove around, seemingly aimlessly, for hours….

To all the clueless idiots who denied the existence of FEMA camps, how say you now?

MOVING ON…..I don’t need to tell you where Sabol and fifty others ended up.  Hint:  It was not a hotel  or even a motel.  They ended up at Camp Freedom with a cot, blanket and the freezing cold.

In other words, even though it is not home and even though some displaced by Obama’s Katrina may have found some place a little comfortable, they are being plucked from that environment and relocated to a hellhole.

Obama’s Katrina (Superstorm Sandy) is the perfect crisis and opportunity in which to destroy the will of the people.  Start by first declaring martial law and then proceed to beat down those who feel that they have lost everything.

Take them down physically, emotionally and psychologically.  Starting point:  FEMA “Camp Freedom.”

Under the wrong conditions, the most hopeless of the bunch either will perish in the process or be transformed into docile and obedient sheep with no will of their own.

In the meantime, keep the media in the dark and while you’re at it, keep the people on the inside in the dark as well.

Barack Obama must be very pleased with himself.

Eric Holder Failed to Disclose Wife’s Abortion Clinic Ties

Already facing calls for a congressional investigation into his ties to Georgia’s most notorious abortion doctor, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder Jr. may be headed for more trouble.

Documents obtained by Watchdog.org reveal that Holder failed to disclose his wife’s ownership of the building where the doctor operated.

The attorney general’s financial disclosure reports for 2008 through 2011 show Holder neglected to report his wife’s co-ownership, through a family trust, of the building located in the Atlanta suburb of College Park.

Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch in Washington, D.C., said he was ‘surprised there is this trust out there and (Holder) hasn’t reported it.’

‘It looks to me like the sort of thing that should be disclosed. If he and his spouse are gaining income off this trust, generally that would be subject to disclosure,’ Fitton said. ‘I mean, if you have an ownership interest, you get the income. You may not be making the day-to-day decisions about the investments, but you are certainly benefiting from them….

Military expert Paula Broadwell, who was allegedly improperly involved with resigned CIA Director Gen. David Petraeus, confirmed in October that the CIA annex in Benghazi asked for reinforcements when the consulate came under attack on September 11. She also acknowledged that ‘there was a failure in the system.’

Broadwell was speaking at her alma mater, the University of Denver, on October 26. Her lecture, which is on YouTube under the title ‘Alumni Symposium 2012 Paula Broadwell,’ now has added value, because based on the recent disclosures, it can now be assumed that she indeed knew exactly what it was that Petraeus knew about the attack.

Broadwell confirmed the reports on Fox News that the CIA annex asked for a special unit, the Commander in Chief’s In Extremis Force, to come and assist it. She also said that the force could indeed have reinforced the consulate, and that Petraeus knew all of this, but was not allowed to talk to the press because of his position in the CIA.

‘The challenge has been the fog of war, and the greater challenge is that it’s political hunting season, and so this whole thing has been turned into a very political sort of arena, if you will,’ she said. ‘The fact that came out today is that the ground forces there at the CIA annex, which is different from the consulate, were requesting reinforcements.

‘They were requesting the – it’s called the C-in-C’s In Extremis Force – a  group of Delta Force operators, our very, most talented guys we have in the military. They could have come and reinforced the consulate and the CIA annex. Now, I don’t know if a lot of you have heard this but the CIA annex had actually taken a couple of Libyan militia members prisoner, and they think that the attack on the consulate was an attempt to get these prisoners back. It’s still being vetted….’

General Petraeus was aware of the calls for reinforcements from the annex within 24 hours, which means that Obama knew.  The more we learn, the worse the stench.

…the CIA annex had actually taken a couple of Libyan militia members prisoner, and they think that the attack on the consulate was an attempt to get these prisoners back. It’s still being vetted….

Hypocrite, liar and dictator, Barack Hussein Obama, is running secret CIA prisons and not just in Libya.  (I wonder if he is water boarding.)

Obviously, General Petraeus did not intentionally fall upon his sword for having an affair or for disgracing his position or the country.  He was forced to side with the White House in the Benghazi, Libya cover up and now we know why.

Was the general being blackmailed by Obama or members of his administration to remain silent on the Benghazi assaults that left four Americans dead, one of which was a U. S. Ambassador?

Was the general being blackmailed by Obama or members of his administration to remain silent on the Benghazi assaults to cover up the cover up and to protect the liar in the White House?

Was Petraeus forced to keep his dalliance with Broadwell under wraps just long enough for Obama to be re-elected and once re-elected did the narcissist in the Oval Office hand Petraeus a big f-u?

Considering that 50% of Washington D.C. is cheating on their spouses, I ask, had it not been for the Benghazi attacks and the cover up by the Obama administration, would the affair between Broadwell and General Petraeus have become public knowledge?

Americans have the right to know the answers to all of the above and many more.

The cover up, the lies must be revealed.  Subpoena Clinton, Petraeus, Broadwell and anyone else who plans to cut and run in order to avoid having to testify.

The Petraeus/Broadwell scandal must not be permitted to become a distraction by the Obama administration and his media puppets.

They fought for their lives for seven hours.  9/11/ 2012.  Benghazi. The White House watched.  No help was sent and they died.

Four Americans died in the jihadi attack on our consulate in Benghazi.  Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, two retired SEALS who were working as civilian security specialists in Benghazi, learned that Ambassador Stevens and nine other people at the consulate were under attack and rushed to their defense.  The fourth man was Sean Smith, father of three, an Air Force veteran, working for the State Department in Libya.

The White House, the Pentagon, the State Department, and our military monitored the battle in real time starting with the first phone calls directly from Benghazi.

A small military force from Tripoli was dispatched and was able to rescue some personnel hiding in other buildings.  Ambassador Stevens remained missing, as did these three men.  The fire-fight raged on….

…The battle was sent on streaming video direct to the Situation Room in the White House.  Within two hours, emails from Benghazi reported that Al Qaeda in Libya was claiming responsibility….”

As reported by Fox News, that CIA operators were denied request for help during Benghazi attack, sources say (excerpts below).

Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later on the annex itself was denied by the CIA chain of command — who also told the CIA operators twice to ‘stand down…’

…CIA spokeswoman Jennifer Youngblood, though, denied the claims that requests for support were turned down.

‘We can say with confidence that the Agency reacted quickly to aid our colleagues during that terrible evening in Benghazi,’ she said. ‘Moreover, no one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate.  In fact, it is important to remember how many lives were saved by courageous Americans who put their own safety at risk that night-and that some of those selfless Americans gave their lives in the effort to rescue their comrades….’
