In yet another anti-Trump dog and pony show, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo laid waste to questions and allegations levied against President Donald J. Trump from NeverTrumpers, Progressives, deep state clowns aka profiteers of war during a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing Wednesday afternoon.

Although officially entitled, “Full Committee Hearing An Update on American Diplomacy to Advance our National Security Strategy,” advancing our national security strategy had nothing to do with it.

The sole objective of Wednesday’s hearing was political as members of the committed sought to attack the President’s agenda, i.e., last week’s Trump/Putin Summit, levy false allegations of appeasement and collusion by the President with Vladimir Putin while securing audio and video clips to be spliced, re-branded, re-run and spun by the Communist media complex and global elites in both parties, all of whom are colluding to discredit and take down the President.

Deep state goons employed by the Communist media complex will huff, puff and blow hot air in response to pre-scripted questions.

War mongers/swamp critters (Senate Foreign Relations Committee) will do the talk show scene, espouse meaningless propaganda and fund-raise off selectively edited video footage and audio throughout the 2018 mid-term elections and 2020 presidential election season.

Of course, none will include Pompeo’s fiery responses calling out and politely discrediting the rhetoric and grandstanding.  The Secretary of State laid waste to those very same politicians who have the nerve to place themselves on a higher ground than not just the President but the rest of the country.

Progressives made fools of themselves and Republicans made no effort to call out the tomfoolery of Progressive hooligans.

Case in point, Senator Bob Corker who cannot leave the U. S. Senate soon enough for my tastes but something tells me that when he does, it will not be the last that we see or hear of this schmuck.  Corker’s strategy is to ignore the fact that he is a Republican (on paper anyway) and blame Trump. “It’s the President…It’s the President…It’s the President…”

Corey Booker, corrupt as hell and one who speaks only to hear himself speak.  Booker is gearing up for a 2020 presidential run. (SIDEBAR: Midway through the video in the mids of the lecture, notice one of Booker’s adoring fans, a young female wearing black. While I am suggesting nothing, the metoo movement, for some reason, comes to mind.)

Then there is another hooligan, that Robert Menendez, who wants the transcriber’s notes subpoenaed.  Menendez was sanctioned two months ago for violating congressional rules by the Senate Select Committee on Ethics.  The swamp rat is alleged to have “knowingly and repeatedly” accepting impermissible gifts over a six-year period and must repay their fair market value.” [See: U. Ideologically, North Korea stopped being communist 30-40 years ago. Like Starbucks, they found one good gimmick, in this case, raw power, then hung themselves by their own petard trying to grow it.

Certain laws apply about going from true-believing Marxist ideologues in 1945 to power and privilege-seeking pipsqueaks 60 years later. It takes no more than three generations for any ideology, including some religious institutions, to have their founding beliefs turned into a thinly-veiled protection racket for the pursuit of wealth, power and privilege. And a protected line of succession.

The best kept secret in the USSR was the fact that by the Brezhnev era there were precious few true believers left. By natural law, every apparatchik (bureaucrat) subordinated every stated mission of his office to the survival of that office. At the top of that heap, every communist was in on the power grab, lusting for all the things that could only be had in America and Europe, and would never be produced in the USSR. (Besides, they didn’t know how. I know, I saw a Soviet cassette player in ’91, all steel, weighting about 12 pounds. I’d have liked to see Lebron strapping that to the side of his head strolling down 3rd Avenue in Cleveland.) When I visited there in ’91-’92 party leaders went to great lengths to put on the appearance of sharing the enforced austerity of a managed economy with the proletariat, hiding their wealth in dachas in the woods, where they would spend the bulk of the warmer months in decadent luxury.

Something like this has existed in North Korea for years, 20% haves and 80% desperately poor have-not’s. This math has never worked for totalitarians.

The façade of cheap suits and beer gone, when communism came out of the closet in America in 2008, Van Jones was wearing $800 suit. And no one ever accused Valerie Jarret of wanting to share the open-toilet privations of Mao during the Long March in order to reach the Marxist dream.

The same beat goes on in socialist Europe where their most noble houses will some day be seen as dynastic pikers compared to the European Union. Its Court of Auditors, one of the integral wings of the EU, is going on 43 this year, but by design it will some day witness its 543rd year in power, if it can sell this global world order to the rest of the world, especially America, The EU exists solely for the purpose of keeping its Court of Auditors and all its other constituent bureaucracies alive[…]

House Dems Break From Leadership on NoKo, Sent Letter Supporting President Trump

About a week ago, the Progressive leadership in the U. S. Senate sent a letter to  President Donald J. Trump regarding the Trump-Kim Summit in Singapore outlining a list demands.

Mind you, most of the Progressives who signed on to the letter, made no such demands of Barack Obama during the so-called negotiation of JCPOA.

The same self-absorbed bureaucrats who screwed up America’s foreign policy and colluded against the country’s interests with their backdoor deals are making demands.

Bad news for an out of touch Progressive leadership.  Fifteen House Democrats on Monday just before the summit sent a letter to the President supporting his endeavor.

Crazy right?  I know, I thought that I was reading it wrong and leading the march was Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA).

Khanna and 14 other Progressives informed the President of their support. Of course, they had suggestions as well but they were respectful about it. Some of the names of House members who signed on will shock you but I think that it had much to do with their body of constituents. Moreover, those who signed on to the letter have no love for the President. They are the resistance which leads me to believe that the only ones these despise more than the President is Dianne Feinstein, Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.

Signing on to the letter was:

Reps. Raul Grijalva (AZ), Barbara Lee (CA), Mark Pocan (WI), Pramila Jayapal (WA), Tulsi Gabbard (HI), Bobby Rush (IL), Zoe Lofgren (CA), Madeleine Bordallo (GUAM), Colleen Hanabusa (HI), Mark DeSaulnier (CA), Richard Nolan (MN), Karen Bass (CA), Jared Huffman (CA), and Jamie Raskin (MD).

They said some positive steps they would endorse, combined with commensurate actions by North Korea, include:

— pledges or agreements to formally end the 68-year war,
— ending the practice of U.S.-ROK “decapitation” military exercises,
— support for important cooperative efforts such as vital humanitarian assistance; parliamentarian dialogue and exchanges; reunions between Koreans and Korean American families; and the repatriation of US servicemember remains.

“Such steps, combined with commensurate actions by North Korea, could help facilitate the phased denuclearization of the Korean peninsula,” they wrote.

They also warned that in the event of a collapse in talks, they would oppose any effort to wage war against North Korea, except in response to a sudden attack[…]

Of course, Progressives would not support military action if need be against North Korea, the cowards.  With that on the record, Progressives are fooling no one.  This is about politics, lasting through the 2018 mid-terms and the POLLS.

As pointed out by Real Clear Politics, more than 70% of Americans supported the Trump-Kim Summit meaning the Communist media complex and their resistance partners in bureaucracy and out are not in line with the rest of the nation.

Translation: The propaganda is falling on deaf ears.

Rather than attack President Trump and Conservatives, Progressives would do well to look within. They’re at war with each other over the future of their own party. Cruel to say but I hope that they demolish each other.

Donald Trump has a habit of heading down a rabbit hole where only he knows he hopes it will lead. He keeps friend and foe alike guessing, so even when he comes out of that hole smelling like a rose, no one can be sure whether he just got lucky, or that was how he planned it all along. Even Rachel Maddow, the most pragmatic of his media enemies, will have to admit he’s done this quite a few times.

I don’t know what President Trump’s knowledge about how large “face” plays in the cultures and politics of the Far East. But it’s Yuge. Moreover, no one is really sure if Kim Jung Un really runs the North Korean crime machine, or is the face of a larger collective.  Personally, I lean toward the latter.

Either way, Face matters.

And by agreeing to meet with Kim face-to-face what has been proffered is a kind of Face never offered to the North Korean regime before. And since the South Koreans served as the middleman, no one even knows who actually laid this rabbit hole on the table.

We were at war with Kim’s grandfather for nearly three years in the 1950s, ending with an armistice that locked North Korea away from decent society, literally, a condition that persists today. It was Kim’s father who made the giant strides toward developing a nuclear capability, only no one is absolutely certain why. Self-defense? A source of income? Or the Korean idea of equality in the comity of nations? The Nuclear Club and the bragging rights?

Bill Clinton sent Madeleine Albright, his Secretary of State, to iron out a deal with Kim Jung Il’s representatives, which turned out to be a masterful swindle, where we gave them billions, boatloads of frozen chicken wings, and they gave us a promise on a piece of paper which they never truly intended to keep and we never intended to enforce. And they knew it.

US Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley held a press conference today at the UN Security Council on North Korea, Pakistan and the anti-Iranian government protests.

Haley took a few questions after her speech.

At approximately 7:52 of video, Haley keeps her composure as a Palestinian journalist who wore his disdain for her on his sleeve all but accused Haley/the USA of being on the wrong side of history and a double standard in the USA’s stance on Iran vs. aid to “the Palestinian people.”

Haley standing firm responded in typical Haley fashion after which she takes one final question, this one on North Korea.

The woman is a class act and if my mother were here today, she would say of Ambassador Nikki Haley, “that woman does not take any tea for the fever.”
