Yusuf Al-Qaradawi – Radical Muslim Cleric and spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood

The Egyptian government has seized the assets of 112 individuals associated with the Muslim Brotherhood. Among the assets seized was that of radical Muslim cleric, Yusuf Al-Qaradawi. H/t MFS, the Other News.

Egypt has seized the assets of controversial preacher Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, seen as the “spiritual guide” of the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood organization, according to a judicial source.

Qatar-based Qaradawi is currently wanted in Egypt, after being charged by state prosecutors of inciting violence in his televised sermons.

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the move was part of a mass seizure of assets of 112 members of the Anti-Coup Alliance group, which was formed to protest the Egyptian military’s ousting of Muslim Brotherhood-backed president Mohamed Mursi in July 2013….

Congress Suspends Aid to Egypt Until After November Elections

Eleven years after the first September 11 attack (2001), the United States was attacked again and while the casualties were not as high, the knife penetrated just as deep re-opening wounds that are less than slightly healed.

At last, the violent rallies against the U.S. embassy in Cairo, in reaction to an anti-Islam video, and Egypt’s laxidasical efforts to defend American assets, have yielded a real result: talks about $1 billion in debt relief and millions more in aid to Egypt are suspended, according to U.S. officials who spoke to the Washington Post on the condition of anonymity….

…There will not be new aid approved for Egypt until after the November elections, and talks intended to ease to payment of funds that have already been approved are stalled, the officials said.

But the same officials added that the delays are temporary and do not represent a reevaluation of U.S. aid to Egypt.

‘Folks are going to wait and see how things materialize both with the protests and on Capitol Hill,’ one congressional aide told the Post….

While this is a start, the must be more restraints.  A message must be sent to Islamic nations that any country who allows their fanatics to murder and maim Americans will forfeit U.S. dollars.
