Unified Patriots by Vassar Bushmills

In 2013 when Obama was still president, I offered a piece entitled Ellis Island del Norte, Ellis C0rral deu Sur laying how we could open an orderly, relatively fast portal coming into the United States, much like Ellis Island stationed just off New York City, where millions would pass through, but also many quarantined and returned. Then some distance from this peaceful portal, we could build a giant corral where the accommodations would be less pleasant, and the journey back South less appealing for those who had been captured here while trying to sneak in.

You may have forgotten that another caravan from Central America, about 1500, approached the United States via Mexico in April, and the Media followed them all the way to Tijuana, with the belief was that many would apply for asylum, then be processed and returned. Then the story  evaporated. “Fizzled” is a better word.

What we learned then was that Mexico was at best a feckless partner in keeping these well-funded caravans away from a border show-down.

So, yes, it’s not just Honduras’ fault, but Mexico’s, that these people are once again on the march and nearing our borders.

Mexico is in a pickle, because the current president, Nieto, is scheduled to leave office Dec 1, just 45 days from now, when the new Mexican president Obrador,  will  move in. Nieto, a young, good looking man, is remembered unfavorably for the corruption of his administration, and of the PRI, the ruling party of  Mexico for most of the period since 1934, while Obrador represents a new Party that has never been in power. A blank slate and while they have spoken on the phone, they have never met.

This makes it difficult for President Trump to put his foot down on the toes of a man who won’t be in office long, and if history tells us anything, from a party who could care less[…]

For months, Donald Trump has called out American companies moving across the U.S.-Mexico border and taking American jobs with him.

ford motor company

One of those companies is Ford Motor Company. Trump’s response to Ford’s betrayal of Americans was to, if elected impose a 35% tax on any vehicle manufactured in Mexico.

Like everything else, pundits and the mainstream media attacked Trump for his platform and as with everything else, Trump yet again proven right.

Ford has walked back its plans to open a plant in Mexico announcing that it will remain in the United States.

Conservative Tribune

…In an interview with CNBC, Ford CEO Mark Fields said that the automaker would be “here to stay.” He also said he had outlined his company’s plans in a letter to Trump.

While he didn’t offer specifics about whether Ford would be rolling back it’s $2.5 billion expansion of the company’s operations in Mexico, it was clear that Fields was committed to addressing Trump’s complaints directly.

“Ford Motor Co. is here to stay in the United States,” Fields said.

“We’re very proud as a company of what we do in terms of contributing to economic development here in the U.S.,” he added….

A Mexican drug cartel retaliated after a Coca Cola distribution company located in Guerrero, Mexico refused to pay a $1 million tribute as demanded by the cartel.

The cartel began its war against Coca Cola by setting its delivery trucks ablaze.  They then stepped up the violence to the point that Coca Cola had no choice but to close its Guerrero location and move its distribution center elsewhere.

No big deal.  The drug cartel then turned its attention to Pepsi.  Pay up or else.

This story signifies just how powerful the narco state of Mexico is becoming, even to the point of driving out major American industries. To learn more about this story, and the political significance behind it, I spoke with Jorge Vazquez Valencia, the spokesperson for the Autodefensas, a self-defense group that has been fighting the cartel with arms and valor:

If you’re wondering what the heck is the Mexican government doing to protect American companies who relocated to Mexico, the corrupt Mexican government could care less in a redistribution of wealth kind of way.

How many other American companies are paying the $1 million tribute to Mexican drug cartels?

American companies find themselves with hard choices.  Either pay endless “tributes” to Mexican drug cartels or return or stay in America.  Give those jobs to Americans.

Finally, I am sending this post to Donald Trump who yet is again ahead of the curve.

The Progressive establishment hates when Donald Trump is right.

Conservative Tribune by Davis

One of the cornerstones of Donald Trump’s campaign has been that fact that millions of jobs have been lost to overseas industries because it is often too expensive to do business in America anymore.

Many liberals have criticized Trump for these statements, but the Wall Street Journal recently reported that Ford’s latest production move showed that Trump was exactly right.

Ford planned to build a new assembly plant in Mexico in order to produce 500,000 more vehicles in Mexico than it currently doed. Last year Ford’s Mexican output was 433,000 vehicles, which translates to about 14 percent of its total production in North America.

This deal had not been publicly confirmed and a Ford spokesperson simply stated, “We do not comment on speculation,” when asked about the company’s plans for Mexico […]

Los Zetas Cartel Used Network of Ovens to Hide Mass Extermination in Mexico’s Coahuila

Breitbart Texas through research with citizen journalists exposing Mexican drug cartels has uncovered atrocities committed by the Mexican cartel Los Zetas who during the period of 2011 through 2013 employed “a network of oven facilities to cover-up the systematic mass extermination of innocent people.”

The atrocities, of which remain unreported and undocumented on local, state, federal and international levels occurred in the Mexican town of Coahuila where Los Zetas during that time held dominion over the citizens of the town in addition to complete control over every aspect of the town’s government including the city jails and Piedras Negras prison which was transformed into a crematorium.

Oven in Mexico Used to Incinerate Bodies

Breitbart Texas by Brandon Darby & Ildefonso Ortiz

…We traveled to the Texas border town of Eagle Pass to meet with our new sources. The Mexican border town of Piedras Negras sits immediately across the Rio Grande. We ended up in the backseat of a car with two strangers from Mexico taking us to “meet some people.” As the car traveled to a remote industrial area, we began to look at each other nervously. We ended up in a dark industrial park and we both thought we had been set up. The driver and his partner pulled us up to a warehouse and asked us to get out. We did so and walked inside, both thinking that we might be in trouble.

Instead of kidnappers, we found a group of Mexican businessmen who were afraid that meeting with us in public would risk their lives or the lives of their families. They grilled meat and warmed up tortillas for us. We smoked cigarettes and enjoyed beers until the men began telling their stories. We heard of good people who simply disappeared. We heard of towns where mass “disappearances” had occurred and no one knew why. We were later able to verify each story and find the answers the men and their communities had sought after for so many years.

Some aspects of the massacre in Coahuila have seen the light of day through some national Mexican news outlets like Proceso, though the case has been largely ignored by Mexican mainstream media as well as mainstream media in the United States and elsewhere. Some outlets like Aljazeera America and San Antonio Express News have reported on the disappearances; however, the link to the Los Zetas having complete control of the Piedras Negras prison and turning the facility into a crematorium had gone largely unreported. Breitbart Texas began to ask questions and received hard answers about the impunity with which Los Zetas operated and the horrors that took place in that prison in late October. In late January, El Diaro de Coahuila also got some answers as to what really happened inside the Piedras Negras prison. According to information provided by Mexican authorities, Los Zetas had full operational control of the prison to the point where they took more than 150 individuals to the prison who were then tortured, murdered and incinerated. Despite the brutality of the case, major U.S. TV and print outlets have largely ignored the kidnapping and murder of hundreds of people from Allende, Coahuila.

During Mexico’s unknown massacre, Los Zetas carried out a systematic extermination by killing and incinerating more than 400 people in Allende and the surrounding towns. While details about what actually happened have barely begun to see the light of day, the massacre traces its roots back to March 2011[…]

As usual, everything in which Barack Obama involves himself turns to 💩 as is the case of thousands of Cubans hoping to make their way to the United States through Mexico where they can claim refugee status only to find that they have hit a brick wall (well maybe not brick).

Nicaragua has closed its borders leaving about 8,000 Cuban “refugees” stranded in Costa Rica without a dime. Their dilemma is no doubt the handiwork of Nicaragua’s left-wing president, Daniel Ortega, who happens to be an ally of Castro (💩 💩 💩 ). (Belize has also closed its borders.)

Cubans heading to USA stranded in Costa Rica after Nicaragua closes its borders - Collage_Fotor

DailyMail.co.uk

Thousands of Cubans are caught in a new refugee crisis triggered by President Obama‘s moves towards ending the embargo on the country, Daily Mail Online can reveal.

As many as 8,000 are living in squalor in Costa Rica where their attempts to reach the United States have stalled, with the central American country facing a growing humanitarian crisis over their presence.

The Cubans are trying to get to the US land border with Mexico, where they will be able to claim refugee status in America, and a rapid path to citizenship.

Thousands have fled the Communist country since Obama and Raul Castro last year ended more than 60 years of frozen relations.

They have moved in a panic prompted by fears that the detente would lead to the abolition of automatic refugee status for Cubans who reach the US land border…

The unforeseen consequence of a move to normalize relations has created a growing crisis in Central America.

In total 8,000 people are stranded in Costa Rica, which has become the final stop in a journey which for most began with flights to Ecuador, followed by long road trips through Colombia and Panama[…]

UPDATE:

Two days ago, the Costa Rican government announced plans to conduct a test flight next week in which a group of stranded Cubans excluding family units and children will be flown from Costa Rica to El Salvador.

Upon arrival in El Salvador, the Cubans would then be bussed through Guatemala to Mexico and once in Mexico, the Cubans are on their own to make their way to the Rio Grande where coyotes, drug and human traffickers will be eagerly awaiting their prey. [The latter part, my emphasis.]

First Group of U.S.-Bound Cubans Will Leave Costa Rica January 12

Originally, the government had announced that families would be given priority. However, citing security concerns, the first group, totaling 180 people, will not include children or family units. During Wednesday’s press conference, Foreign Minister Manuel Gonzalez stressed that the first transfer is a “test flight” and would not guarantee any additional flights until regional leaders meet to assess its success sometime before January 18.

The first group Cubans will be chosen using the following guidelines: the person may actually be located (any have left the shelters); date of arrival, according to the issue date their immigration visa; and ability to pay the cost of the transfer. For individuals of the ages 13 and above, staying in the shelters near the Costa Rican town of Liberia, the transfer cost is $555. This will cover transportation to the airport; a chartered flight with Avianca airlines to El Salvador; exit taxes for Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Guatemala; non-stop bus transportation, with meals, through Guatemala and into Mexico; and health insurance. For those traveling from the southern region of the country, the cost will be $570. Children between the ages of two and 12 will have to pay $350.

In response to questions regarding plans for Cuban migrants who cannot pay the transfer costs, Costa Rica’s Foreign Minister Manuel Gonzalez said the current plan is in place because the Cuban migrants repeatedly said they could pay. Thus, if this first flight is successful and the plan is extended beyond the initial 180 migrants, another exit plan will have to be put in place for those who cannot pay….

Once in Mexico the Cuban migrants will be granted a 20-day temporary transit visa at no cost. But once they are in Mexico they will have to get to the U.S. border on their own, said IOM’s Costa Rica director, Roland de Wilde. He added that, “It’s important to remember that these migrants left their country voluntarily…In Mexico they will surely find the transportation options that they want. I understand there are many options in Mexico….” (Source: Center for Immigration Studies)

As I said above, eagerly awaiting the Cubans will be coyotes, drug and human traffickers like vultures ready to pounce.

Who to Blame?

screenshot barack obama shakes hands with raul castro_Fotor

.…Refugees accuse the White House of ‘insensitively’ offering olive branch to Havana without giving clear indications of what future immigration policy will be towards Cubans.

‘Obama should say categorically what will happen to Cubans. Will we still be welcomed in the United States…who knows?’ said college lecturer Mirtha Vega, who is among the refugees.

‘People got scared and left Cuba as soon as they could and there has been so much panic.

‘America wanted us before and now we simply do not know and that is why this crisis has developed.

‘Obama shook hands with Castro and everybody got scared. There are many people back home who are preparing to leave now for the US if they can manage it….’
