I know I’ve been at this too damn long when little anklebiters like Cernovich get on my nerves on a Sunday morning. “I threw the largest Inauguration event of 2017. So if you’re new here, kindly shut the f-ck up and read a book before lecturing me about “the base” or 2020. I actively made stuff happen, and I don’t care about 2020, and that should concern people.”

So this guy who was nobody who jumped the Make America Great Again movement at the right time in history isn’t concerned with 2020. Curious has Mr. Cernovich ever walked a precinct? ever made calls for a candidate in his Democrat wasteland of California? Can Cernovich show he was a Precinct Committeeman? this is the hard in the trenches work of the movement of Republicans. Its not a twirl around the merry go round of movements. I said to Cernovich on that illustrious piece of crap known as twitter, what have you done for me lately? I come late to the GOP as my family were union members in Baltimore City, it was Democrats from birth to death well I beat that grim reaper (I’m sure I’ll be voting Democrat after I’m dead again). What I’ve learned in my now 17 years of being a Republican is that the work is hard, its slow and its both glorious and defeating. This country didn’t get this way overnight and one man and be clear Trump is an island is going to change it all back. It is the JOB of Republicans and curious citizens to the Republican Party to make that change.

2016 was a dream, it was the dream of change of putting a stop to the left. It did just that, it jerked them to a full stop within the government. You’ve watched them thrash about as they try to keep the Overton Window shifted left but Trump broke that window, millions more now know what so many of us already learned and you cannot go back to sleep[…]

Bannon, Koch Brothers, and How Conservatives Disappoint “Thought Leaders”

Stephen Bannon now says that being anti-establishment is not going to work. Well, when you’ve had potential millions swept out from under your feet because you overstepped your perceived authority, those marbles in your head tend to clang. “People are starting to realize that the anti-establishment thing is kind of a luxury we can’t afford right now,” said Stephen K. Bannon, the president’s former chief strategist who six months ago said it was his objective to see Mr. McConnell removed as the Senate Republican leader.

That effort has been put on hold. And Mr. Bannon’s rebellion has considerably smaller ambitions than it did six months ago, when he was trying to recruit challengers to every Republican incumbent senator up for re-election this year, with the exception of Ted Cruz of Texas.

Of those Mr. Bannon worked most closely with, just two are still running: Mr. McDaniel and Kelli Ward in Arizona, who is competing in a three-way primary for the seat that opened up after Senator Jeff Flake announced his retirement”.

“It’s a fascinating and somewhat problematic shift of message and brand for the man who defined the “drain the swamp” persona of the Trump campaign. After vowing to unseat Mitch McConnell as Senate Majority Leader, Bannon now agrees that maybe the GOP establishment is just fine if it means keeping a majority.

The “mastermind” behind Trump’s victory (if you believe Bannon’s own self-serving press leaks) has had a change of heart, that’s for sure.

Establishment publications are already claiming victory for Bannon’s flip-flop and they deserve a little glee in witnessing their bete noire’s cummuppance. But the real danger for Bannon is not the victory he seems to have handed his opponents, it’s the question of his own political relevance.

If Steve Bannon doesn’t stand for “Burn the GOP establishment to the ground” anymore, then what does he stand for?

If he’s not essential in reshaping and purging the Republican Party on behalf of Donald Trump and Trumpism, then what is he useful for?

At this point, why does anyone need Steve Bannon?”

At this point, why does anyone need Bannon? These so-called “thought leaders” of the Right believe conservatives are malleable. Malleable? No, they’re intelligent, hard-working people who are quite independent in their thinking[…]

Ah yes, the Republican Party establishment’s saga of “Blame Steve, Destroy Trump and the American dream” continues…but should we?

Today’s latest soap opera being reported on by the malignant media is about a skirmish between a former employee of President Trump, Steve Bannon, and the president. I’m not going to get into the weeds of the story. It is not important, but it is significant because of the behind-the-scenes, as well as public, finger pointing. This is about the election of Democrat Doug Jones to a previously held, and thought to be “safe Republican” seat in Alabama. Doug Jones was sworn in today so the recriminations begin anew.

Steve Bannon is being blamed for Roy Moore’s loss to Doug Jones in the recent Alabama special election, held December 12, 2017. Independent of Bannon defenders, because I pay no attention to him, I will say the toxicity of Mitch McConnell aided greatly in Luther Strange’s loss to candidate Roy Moore in the primary. That said, Roy Moore deserved, but did not get the support required from the GOP Establishment for the special election. In fact, one could lay the entire loss of the senate seat to the Dems – at the feet of McConnell, who was desperately trying to keep Moore out of the seat, and early on denounced Judge Moore with the now disappeared sexual misconduct complaints.

We can move on from the drama with Steve Bannon.

What we can’t move on from, nor forget, are the problems and issues regarding the Republican Establishment. These same issues affected the state elections held in Virginia. The GOP Establishment, represented by candidate Ed Gillespie AND Mitch McConnell, is why Virginia had no chance to take back the governorship this past November. War-Gaming Part V, How Citizens Can Fight Back When the Left Goes Rogue

I had intended to do a section on the Left’s War-Gaming of the Academy, but have incorporated it here as that marries up well with what people can do to combat them when (not if) they cross the line from legal peaceful protest to criminal behavior.

This is already occurring.

In June, 2015, after SCOTUS’ decision legalizing same sex-marriage, I wrote here “It’s Not that Revolution May be Coming, but That it Has to Come.” (You may want to read it for historical context.)

Well, 15 months later, the Revolution came, and we won.

And it was peaceful, at least so far.

With violence in mind, you can’t fully appreciate what this victory means in terms of removing a whole battery of authoritarian options from the Left, as part of a worldwide arrangement they believed they would seal in November.

For one, as we continue to pinch ourselves just to be reminded, we’re now up on the horses and they’re down there, afoot. Therefore their police and para-military will not be able to ride us down and shuttle us into corrals as originally mapped out. They still may be able to snoop on us, but no longer under the color of law. Nor will there be any midnight Elian Gonzalez-style raids with SWAT teams.

This isn’t a done deal, though. We could still lose. But by the numbers, we should win going away.

So I really like our chances, if we continue to play our cards right.

You see, the role of the stay-at-home citizen isn’t done. Not by a damned sight. In fact, it’s only beginning, for while we can begin to use government to bottle up the more criminal aspects of the Left’s resistance, there is much we can do at the grass roots to blight their path, hastening the day they will give up their criminal ways and go back to sucking their thumbs.

First, keep the faith, by letting the President know you haven’t abandoned him. And let your elected representatives know you demand no less loyalty from them. Trust me, most Republicans still think this is just a political game, even as it ratchets up in violence. Most of them still don’t get it[…]
