~ “I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts.” Ronald Reagan.
Inside the corrosive agendas of Congressman Luis Gutierrez.
Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Illinois) reacted with elation to the Supreme Court’s recent announcement that it will soon hear the case of Texas v. United States, to determine the fate of President Obama’s “Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents” (DAPA). That executive action, which Obama issued in November 2014 by circumventing Congress and usurping its lawmaking authority, gave millions of illegal immigrants temporary legal status, work permits, eligibility for certain publicly funded benefits, and protection from deportation.
It’s not at all surprising that Gutierrez avidly supports DAPA. Like all dutiful socialists, he has long viewed the heavy hand of centralized government as the indispensable linchpin of civil society. When he launched his political career as a Chicago alderman in the 1980s, Gutierrez was a member of the Puerto Rican Socialist Party. Throughout his 23 years in the House of Representatives, he has been a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, the socialist wing of the Democratic Party. And his political campaigns have drawn significant support from the Democratic Socialists of America[…]
Tomorrow morning (3/21/2015), Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA37) is holding a [pro]immigration town hall meeting featuring “pro-illegal alien” Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill) who has been in a rage threatening militancy ever since a federal judge handed down an injunction last month last month against Barack Obama’s illegal amnesty program.
Gutierrez is on a nationwide quest to force Obama’s amnesty agenda down our throats and no doubt to firm up his resume for the 2016 presidential elections.
Bass like her Communist peers will only listen to the voices of dreamers because those are the only votes that count to ideologues particularly in districts where non-Hispanics (primarily whites and Blacks are being victimized and run out of what was once their communities by Hispanic gangs). [See bottom of post]
Bass held a “pro-immigration” town hall event on July 27, 2013 in Los Angeles.
During the 2013 event, Bass among a panel of five speakers listened patiently while those “pro-immigration” had their say. However, when constituents opposed to amnesty, many of whom were Black Americans, began to express their opposition to illegal immigration, Bass, elected to serve all in her district exited the room.
Jamie Shaw II
In the first video Althea Shaw, aunt of Jamiel Shaw II, a Black teenager executed a few doors away from his home on March 2, 2008 by Pedro Espinoza an illegal alien gang banger, addresses a clearly annoyed Bass.
In the following video, one witnesses the dismissal of Althea Shaw by Bass in the process of exiting the town hall as Jamiel’s aunt attempts to engage the Congresswoman privately.
Bass opposed Jamiel’s Law.
Summary of Jamiel Shaw’s execution
On March 2, 2008 Jamiel Andre’ Shaw II, was executed by an illegal alien gang banger while returning home from the Beverly Center Mall.
As Jamiel walked home from the bus stop, his father (Jamiel Sr.) called Jamiel on his cell phone. Jamiel informed his father that he was right around the corner and would be home momentarily.
A moment later, Jamiel’s father heard the shots fired that would take his son’s life just three doors from his home.
Jamiel’s mother, Army Sgt. Anita Shaw, was serving in Iraq at the time of her son’s death and allowed to return home early to bury Jamiel.
At the time of his death, Shaw was carrying a red Spider-Man backpack. Espinoza convicted of first-degree murder mistook Shaw for a “rival gang member” and saw an opportunity to advance his gang status.
Shaw had encountered Espinoza on the sidewalk and ‘tried to walk around him,’ the judge said. At that point, ‘the defendant pulled a gun, shot him in the stomach, then walked around him and put a bullet in his head….’
During the trial, Deputy District Attorney Allyson Ostrowski told jurors that Espinoza, a Latino, ‘chose to execute a 17-year-old for the color of his skin and the color of his backpack,’ calling the slaying of Shaw, who was black, a ‘cold-blooded, calculated execution….’
Shaw was a good kid in every sense of the word with no gang ties and a promising future ahead of him.
Yet Bass, the Congressional rep for Shaw family, created a straw man to justify her opposition to Jamiel’s Law. Not #BlackLivesMatter or even #AllLivesMatter that is for certain.
Bass represents a district in which non-Hispanics are being victimized and run out of their homes and communities by Hispanic gangs.
Jesse Lee Peterson has for years spoke of and written about these events that are public knowledge yet ignored by Progressives, in particular, Black Progressives (CBC) whose only agenda is to remain in office.
For the past 22 years, I, along with a few others, have been sounding the alarm: The Mexican Mafia and their affiliated gangs have declared an all-out war on black Americans!
In Compton, Calif., a mother and her three children were recently intimidated by a group of Hispanic gang members. The intimidation reached a boiling point when four Hispanic men in a black SUV pulled up and began harassing a male family friend, calling him a ‘nigger’ and saying black people were barred from the neighborhood. According to reports, they jumped out, drew a gun on the family friend and beat him with metal pipes. It was just the beginning of what detectives said was a campaign to force the black family to leave.
According to the Los Angeles Times, similar attacks have taken place in Harbor Gateway, Highland Park, Pacoima, San Bernardino, Canoga Park and Wilmington, among other places over the last decade.
Sheriff’s detectives arrested two alleged members of the Compton Varrio 155 gang. “This family has no gang ties whatsoever,” Sheriff Department Lt. Richard Westin said. ‘They are complete innocent victims here….’
As pointed out in the above article, from Compton to Washington, DC, it is public knowledge that communities such as Compton, once predominantly Black now 65 percent Hispanic (less than 33 percent black) is under siege by Hispanics gangs who are running Blacks from their homes and their community.
In 2014, Peterson again addressed the war on California’s Black communities by illegal alien (Hispanic) gangs. In this instance, the firebombing of homes owned by Blacks as not reported by the mainstream media.
The declaration of war against Blacks by the Mexican Mafia and other gangs is occurring throughout Harbor Gateway, Highland Park, Pacoima, San Bernardino, Canoga Park and Wilmington yet politicians, the NAACP, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, the CBC, KAREN BASS and other so-called Black leaders pretend not to notice the firebombed buildings or Black blood on the streets of their districts. Adding to that is the media blackout in place. Thus, it will not be a topic of discussion at Bass’ town hall event tomorrow.
The truth is that Black lives are not worth a damn to Karen Bass, Al Sharpton, Barack Obama, everyone in the Congressional Black Caucus, Eric Holder or Progressives as a whole which is why there are so many abortion clinics in Black communities throughout the United States.
Nonetheless, spewing the propaganda that #BlackLivesMatter every so often on MSNBC and CNN or about how Bass and peers marched on Selma makes for a great 30-second sound bite in a campaign ad during the election season and for Karen Bass, that’s all that matters even though Bass and ideology is stands in opposition to the interests of those remaining Black constituents in her district.
It is all about politics and getting re-elected yet when it comes to the Black vote, Blacks demand so little effort in return.
