~ “I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts.” Ronald Reagan.
Mike Levin, the director of government affairs for FuelCell Energy, a green energy power plant manufacturer, will host a Clinton fundraiser in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Tickets range from $500 to $2,500, according to a copy of the invitation posted online.
The event comes just two months after ExxonMobil invested an undisclosed sum in FuelCell, which manufactures technology that could reduce carbon emissions from electricity generation.
“Such a high-profile effort to fight climate change could be interpreted by critics of the company as an attempt to improve the public image of Exxon Mobil at a time that it is under investigation by state attorneys general and news organizations, and attacked for its past funding of organizations that denied climate change,” the New York Times noted in May[…]
With frenemies like Sharpton, who needs real enemies? As an aide for New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, Rachel Noerdlinger, who used to run media relations for Al Sharpton’s National Action Network as its vice president, worked to cover up Sharpton’s lies due to concerns about making him look bad. Noerdlinger was chief of staff for de Blasio’s wife before she was pushed to resign from the $170,000 position after months of controversies including her boyfriend being a convicted cop-killer and her own calls for violent retaliation against police arose. New emails released by the Mayor’s office last […]
In January 2015, Rachel Noerdlinger, former chief of staff to Bill de Blasio’s wife, Chirlane McCray, after leaving the de Blasio administration went to work for a lobbyist/PR firm Mercury Public Affairs, whose offices are conveniently located less than two miles from City Hall as the firm’s managing director.
According to her bio, Noerdlinger who supposedly will not be lobbying City Hall, “practices strategic communications, crisis management and public affairs, along with community engagement in electoral politics and business.”
Business as usual. In a March 5, 2015 interview with the Amsterdam News, a Black newspaper, a not bitter, Noerdlinger stated that she continues to work with Sharpton and his National Action Network in addition to “building up the Democratic side of Mercury.”
Her only regret (or so it would seem) was not turning down the job as McCray’s chief of staff. Noerdlinger feels that she would have been far more helpful to the de Blasio administration from the outside. H/t Thee Rant.
It really is amazing that I manage to make it fifty feet from the door of my home to the corner of my street everyday without stepping on all the garbage in New York City. After all, the undertakings of Sharpton’s former director of communications was to control the message and create divert fire away from Commie Bill, all of which have the blessings of the de Blasios and comrades.
Last Thursday, Grover Norquist, the president of Americans for Tax Reform, finally appeared on The Glenn Beck Program“to defend himself against accusations that he is an ‘agent of influence’ for radical Islamists. Norquist set up the Islamic Free Market Institute roughly 20 years ago, and through the organization, Beck said, he crossed paths with a number of controversial figures, including two now-imprisoned terrorists.”
Beck removed the pay wall making the interview available to all who wanted to watch, subscribers of TheBlaze or not.
During Wednesday’s expose (video above), Beck brought out his chalkboard, supports and named names only to follow up Friday morning after Thursday’s one on one with a recap and fact checks (below).
At this moment on GlennBeck Radio, Glenn is recapping the past few days of communications and direction back and forth between Beck’s camp and the Norquist camp and Norquist agreeing then disagreeing and now re-agreeing to appear today on Beck’s 5:00 televised program on the TheBlazeTV TODAY.
Beck has agreed to air today’s program for free to all interested viewers. (Please share.)
Let us see where this goes and, of course, if Norquist appears.
In the meantime, on Beck’s radio program airing this morning, Beck continues his expose of Norquist.

On Glenn Beck’s TV Show TheBlaze.com, Beck gave a one hour overview of Grover Norquist’s Terrorists & Muslim Brotherhood connections. (below)
Followed by correspondence posted over at TheBlaze from Grover Norquist whom Beck invited to the program scheduled to air today (Thursday, March 26th).
At first Norquist accepted Beck’s invitation and then backed out.
You can read the complete letter from Norquist’s representative, below:
No conservative should have to pay Glenn Beck to hear a grown up response to Frank Gaffney’s nonsense. Two weeks ago, March 11, Glenn had Frank Gaffney on his radio show for a lengthy interview in front of an audience of seven million Americans. Uncritically accepting Gaffney’s ten to fifteen year old nonsense, Glenn kept saying Grover was a “dangerous” and “bad” man. On the free public airwaves in front of seven million people, Glenn repeated Gaffney’s long discredited nonsense over the course of several shows. Never checking anything. Never reaching out to us for a reality check. And then, after repeating stuff from Gaffney over and over on the public airwaves, you invite Grover to a paid, subscription-only show with a different, and much smaller, audience. If you are now interested in the facts that dozens of reporters and most conservative leaders already know, the best way to proceed would be to hash through Gaffney’s attacks in front of the audience where Glenn gave Gaffney plenty of time to present them. If you are serious about fact checking Gaffney’s material, contact me to find a time to do something on the radio show, the same venue where Gaffney told his conspiracy theory….
The above graphic comes from the Louisiana Department of Education with mention of groups supporting educational reform ideas: charter schools, TFA, increased teacher accountability via the tracking of student data, common core. However, education reformers supporting these reforms (administrators, bureaucrats, politicians, lobbyists, think tanks) have forgotten what the word “public” in “public education” means. There is the implied assumption that “grassroots” demands include all the reforms listed above, but that isn’t a valid assumption. These are reforms not to provide better education, these are reforms designed to maximize the use of human capital for businesses. Here is another graphic:
So the Louisiana Department of Education sees itself and these special education reform groups as “grasstops” for the “grassroots”. But what happens when the authentic “grassroots” don’t agree with the self-appointed “grasstops” message? Well, the grassroots are just mowed down because in reality, the grasstops really don’t want to hear from you in the first place. They’ve never asked you for your opinion. It’s been all about asking the CMOs, not the parents[…]
Attention, class: A Common Core mouthpiece wants to rap my knuckles with his Gates Foundation-funded ruler. In response to my column two weeks ago about the marketing overlords pushing the Fed Ed racket, Chad Colby of Achieve Inc. demanded corrections. Let’s go to school. “I wanted to take a moment to highlight two points that were incorrect regarding Achieve,” Colby complained. “Contrary to Ms. Malkin’s assertion, Achieve employs no lobbyists and we never have.” No? Never? Someone didn’t do his homework. Mr. Colby, meet Patricia Sullivan. She’s the founding executive director of Achieve and a career lobbyist who has bounced around D.C. for the past quarter-century in influence-peddling positions for the Gates Foundation-funded National Governors Association[…]
