No matter was Sarah Palin does, she remains under attack by those who fear and are threatened by the governor.
The latest attack has to do with a video Palin released yesterday in response to bogus accusations by Progressives blaming the governor for the horrific acts of an unstable mass murderer named Jared Lochner.
Palin used the term “blood libel” in her speech, which offended Progressives simply because the woman exists and has the audacity to breathe the same air that they do.
“Assistant Democratic Leader James Clyburn (S.C.) said Palin had missed the point by releasing a statement Wednesday morning blasting the media for ‘blood libel’ for looking to assign blame in part to her rhetoric after the attempted assassination of Giffords last weekend.
‘You know, Sarah Palin just can’t seem to get it, on any front. I think she’s an attractive person, she is articulate,’ Clyburn said on the Bill Press radio show. ‘But I think intellectually, she seems not to be able to understand what’s going on here.”
James Clyburn is a racist and an old fool who forgets from time to time that he is nothing more than a house slave doing his master’s bidding. In addition, Clyburn is a liar and the only people who will believe his lies are those who refuse to see.
It does not matter to haters that Palin used the term correctly, so let us set the record straight and dig it in for the heck of it.
The term “blood libel” has taken on a broad metaphorical meaning in public discourse. Although its historical origins were in theologically based false accusations against the Jews and the Jewish People, its current usage is far broader. I myself have used it to describe false accusations against the State of Israel by the Goldstone Report. There is nothing improper and certainly nothing anti-Semitic in Sarah Palin using the term to characterize what she reasonably believes are false accusations that her words or images may have caused a mentally disturbed individual to kill and maim. The fact that two of the victims are Jewish is utterly irrelevant to the propriety of using this widely used term.
As I pray every day for Sarah Palin, it becomes clearer by the moment that the woman has God on her side.
Moreover, Progressives are so blinded by their extreme dislike of the governor that totally over their heads is the reality that the more they attack Palin, the stronger she becomes.
Each assault brings Palin supporters in droves, many of whom are desperate to distance themselves from the rancid existence and vulgar rhetoric of Progressives.
