In 1992 I took an overnight train from Moscow to Ukraine, with an escort who knew the ropes about getting me on the train without being spotted as a chiseling American traveling as a Russian. First class tickets were sold out so we had to share our compartment with two others.

Turns out they were Palestinians (18-20 yrs, my guess) returning to Jerusalem to rejoin the Intifada after a winter’s semester at one of the Soviet technical institutes (no doubt training to make Molotov cocktails, and which probably operates in the same way today.) It was uncomfortable for awhile, until after the ticket lady had picked up the tickets, and the Arabs had ascertained, that No, I wasn’t a Jew, but Yes, I had been to New York. Often. It was a very awkward, broken conversation since my escort from Ukraine spoke almost no English, only Russian and Ukrainian, and some French, I spoke almost no Russian, but some French, and one Arab, beside his native tongue, spoke a little Russian and the other, the youngest, spoke some English. Turns out they were also “Jack-Muslims” for they put away half of my liter bottle of vodka, but it kept the conversation at least convivial, as I kept them enthralled about life in America and New York. In truth I substituted life in Cincinnati with life in the Big Apple, but they were mesmerized…until finally we drifted off to sleep, each with one eye open.

One always comes away with new knowledge in those kinds of conversations, and mine has to do with the main title, having to do with radicalization in America today, and immigration in general.

“Oh, if only I could go to New York…I would make so much money” was how the youngest Molotov cocktail-builder put it.

That echoed a theme I heard all over Ukraine and Russia, and later in the Balkans. America is a place where a man can go to make money. Not settle down, raise a family, and not even honest money[…]

3 Dozen Dead, 100 Plus Wounded in Suicide Bomb Blasts at Coptic Christian Churches in Egypt

Islam, the religion of peace, is on a roll this Palm Sunday with the Islamic State taking credit for bomb blasts of Coptic Christian churches in Egypt as parishioners celebrated Palm Sunday.

The first Islamic terrorist attack occurred in St George’s Coptic Church in Tanta, north of Cairo in which 26 people were killed and 100 plus wounded.

The second Islamic terrorist attach which occurred a few hours later occurred at St Mark’s Coptic Church in Alexandria where the casualties are 11 dead and 66 wounded.

…Officials said the blast at St George’s church happened “in the front rows, near the altar, during the mass”.

Horrifying footage and images posted on social media appears to show the aftermath as crowds gathered around dead bodies and large blood stains on the pews and church walls.

The explosions come as Coptic worshippers gathered for the celebrations of Palm Sunday – the Sunday before Easter, which marks the start of Holy Week for Christians.

Provincial governor Ahmad Deif told state-run Nile TV channel: “Either a bomb was planted or someone blew himself up.”

A witness told the Reuters news agency: “There was a huge explosion in the hall. Fire and smoke filled the room and the injuries were extremely severe.

“I saw the intestines of those injured and legs severed entirely from their bodies”[…]

15:20 Al-Ahram Arabic news website reports that Gharbiya governorate security chief Hossam El-Din Khalifa has been relieved of duty after the church attack in Tanta left dozens dead and injured on Sunday.

15:17 The health ministry updated the death toll in the attack on the Mar Gigis Church in Tanta to 27. The number of injured stands at 78.

This puts the combined death toll from the Tanta and Alexandria attacks at 45.

Islamic jihadist, Mohamed Abrini, suspected of his involvement in the Paris and Brussels Islamic terrorist attacks has finally come clean admitting that he is indeed the man in white seen on CCTV at the Belgian airport moments before the Brussels Islamic terrorist attack in which 32 people were killed and countless others wounded.

The Belgian police eventually released footage of Abrini aka the man in white as he made his way through the City to the town of Zavantem as people reacted to the terror around them.

Brussels and Paris terror attacks suspect Mohamed Abrini has admitted to being the ‘man in white’ who was seen with two suicide bombers at a Belgian airport.

Abrini, 31, who is thought to have played a major role in the Paris massacre that killed 130 in November and the Brussels bombings in which 32 people died last month, was arrested yesterday and has since been charged with ‘terrorist murders’.

Belgium’s federal prosecutor said on Saturday that Abrini admitted to being the ‘man in white’ – also known as ‘the man in the hat’ – who was seen at Zaventem airport on March 22 just before the attack that killed 16 people.

‘We confronted him with the video evidence prepared by our special unit,’ a spokesman for the prosecutors’ office said. ‘He had to admit it was him.’

After leaving the airport, Abrini threw his light coat in a dust bin and later sold his hat, prosecutors added.

Prosecutors charged four people, including Abrini, with terrorist activity for their suspected roles in the Brussels bombings and Paris attacks. They were arrested yesterday, along with two others who were later released….

The terrorist atrocities in Paris are completely different from the violence by Palestinians against Israelis.

FACT

As on 9/11, the media had no reservations about labeling the perpetrators of the Paris atrocities as terrorists. By contrast, the same media outlets contort themselves to justify their refusal to classify the killers of Jews as terrorists. In fact, when “the Agence France Presse published a chronological list of worldwide terror attacks since 9/11, including of course the Madrid and London bombings, Mumbai, Kenya and many others….
