Bill de Blasio’s wife Chirlane McCray cleared to work for Mayor’s Fund
Chirlane McCray. First lady Chirlane McCray’s official duties, which the de Blasio administration continues to avoid describing specifically, could include chairing the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City. Bill De Blasio continues to duck questions about the duties that McCray who worked with David Dinkins during his tenure as mayor would perform as chair to the Mayor’s Fund.
It is worth noting that the Mayor’s Fund played a major role fund-raising for Hurricane Sandy victims; primarily due to remarks made by de Blasio that last summer during his campaign tour to Far Rockaway (finally).
De Blasio informed Hurricane Sandy victims who were still awaiting FEMA assistance any funds coming through from FEMA would be applied toward his agenda as mayor….“for the greater endeavor.”
De Blasio’s remark compounded with the appointment of his wife to the Mayor’s Fund is a blow to Hurricane Sandy victims still awaiting government assistance.
To De Blasio, Barack Obama and the Communist elites will treat New York City as a bottomless trough feeder to satisfy the insatiable fleecing of New Yorkers all in the name of bringing capitalism to its knees.
