So much for civility, tolerance and keeping it in the Black community, which spin masters like Al Sharpton, would prefer.  H/t Breitbart.

Surprised, NOT REALLY.

How dare Black Americans think for ourselves?  That is clearly the message of the day as Obama dispatches his pit bulls to castigate, subjugate and silence the voice of Black Americans starting with our pastors.

As long as Blacks remain silent, in check and support the Obama agenda, it is all good.  However, once any Black person steps forward in opposition, stands up for their beliefs that are not in line Obama, the attacks begin and almost always, they start with Sharpton, mouthpiece and lead overseer for Barack Obama and MSNBC mouthpiece.

Sharpton will not be the last to attack.  He is just one of many circling the wagons around their lord and master.  We can expect Marxist elitists with their sheepskins and titles who have anointed themselves the voice of Black America to spearhead a massive vitriolic attempt to silence Black Americans who do not subscribe to the rhetoric that gay rights/marriage is a civil right.

Well, they have their work cut out for them because the cat is out of the bag or shall I say the horse is out of the barn and these spin masters can scream as loud as they but Obama’s support of gay marriages is more than many in the Black community can or will swallow.

Self-anointed Black leaders are out of touch with the community, in denial or just less than honest in their assessment that Black Americans are on board with the bogus rhetoric that gay rights and marriage is a civil right.  It is not and no matter how one spins it, that dog simply will not hunt.

Want to start a family feud, divide a family down the middle or just get a good beat down from a few of the neighbors?  Just come home and announce to family and friends on the block that you are gay.

BOULYA!!!!!  It will not be pretty.  Of course, in time, it may work itself out or it may not but the truth is that Black Americans are not as tolerant of homosexuality as Progressives would have us all believe.   Far from it.

Moving on, will Black pastors and those Black Americans opposing gay marriage continue to stand their ground (no pun intended) or will they STFU as demanded by the likes of Sharpton?

The labeling by Progressives of every damned being a civil or human right is horse fodder, plain and simple.

Well done Barack and now apparently well done Sharpton.

UPDATE  Dr. Emmett Burns, the pastor in the video above who just a few days ago announced that would not vote of support Barack Obama because of Obama’s stance on gay marriage has to put it mildly, sold his soul.  Burns, like so many Black pastors, has changed his position and will now vote for Obama.

Anyone who watched Sean Hannity last night as Burns discussed the rationale behind his sweltering descent witnessed firsthand just how uncomfortable rather painful it was for the Reverend to even speak of his change of heart, ah hem, betrayal of belief and faith.

It is official; Barack Obama has declared war on the citizenry.

Janet Napolitano and TSA boss, John Pistole have set forth a directive that declares Americans who choose to opt out of fully body scans and enhanced pat-downs domestic extremists.  That is a nice way of calling us enemies of the state. (Remember the DHS Lexicons labeling Americans extremists?)

In other words, according to Obama’s civilian force, if you choose not to allow TSA officers to molest you and your children by exercising your Constitutional rights, you are a terrorist and will be treated as such.

The directive states that any American who opts out will be detained, interrogated and processed for further investigation.  These procedures and Constitutional violations have the full support of the tyrant in the White House, Barack Obama.

“If the information recently acquired by Doug Hagmann of Northeast Intelligence Network ^[1] is accurate, then something really big is happening in America right now – and it’s most certainly not a step towards individual liberty ^[2].

According to Mr. Hagmann, he was contacted by a source within the DHS who provided an alarming memo detailing a new administrative directive agreed upon by DHS chief Janet Napolitano and the head of TSA John Pistole. The memo, according to Doug Hagmann, ‘officially addresses those who are opposed to, or engaged in the disruption of the implementation of the enhanced airport screening procedures as ‘domestic extremists’.’

The memo leaves no doubt as to who, exactly, is leading the charge to label Americans who refuse current security measures due to health and privacy concerns as extremists. ‘The measures to be taken in response to the negative public backlash as detailed [in this directive], have the full support of the President,’ it says.

Under the new labeling procedures, those who choose to opt-out or are perceived as being troublemakers will be detained, questioned and processed for further investigation:

‘The terminology contained within the reported memo is indeed troubling. It labels any person who ‘interferes’ with TSA airport security screening procedure protocol and operations by actively objecting to the established screening process, ‘including but not limited to the anticipated national opt-out day’  as a ‘domestic extremist….”

Rape victim receives 101 lashes for becoming pregnant

“A 16-year-old girl who was raped in Bangladesh has been given 101 lashes for conceiving during the assault.

The girl’s father was also fined and warned the family would be branded outcasts from their village if he did not pay.

According to human rights activists, the girl, who was quickly married after the attack, was divorced weeks later after medical tests revealed she was pregnant.

The girl was raped by a 20-year-old villager in Brahmanbaria district in April last year.

Bangladesh’s Daily Star newspaper reported that she was so ashamed following the attack that she did not lodge a complaint.

Her rape emerged after her pregnancy test and Muslim elders in the village issued a fatwa insisting that the girl be kept in isolation until her family agreed to corporal punishment.

Her rapist was pardoned by the elders. She told the newspaper the rapist had ‘spoiled’ her life.

‘I want justice,’ she said.”

It is reprehensible that this young person should find herself victimized on multiple occasions.  First she is raped by a villager, forced to marry quickly after the attack, then suddenly divorced at the realization of her pregnancy, lashed, isolated and her family fined.  She will unfortunately spend the rest of her life an outcast.  How many injustices can one person be forced to bear?  This young woman did not ask to for this.

In the meantime, what about her rapist?  This parasite remains free to roam the village to wreak destruction on the lives of other young women.  This is immoral.
This young woman deserves justice and her rapist should be tracked down and severely punished.

The Abandonment of Democracy

“Iranian exiles in the U.S. are receiving calls from back home asking why President Obama has ‘given Khamenei the green light’ to crack down on the election protestors. To conspiracy-minded Middle Easterners, that is the obvious meaning of Obama’s equivocal response to the Iranian nation’s sudden and unexpected reach for freedom. How to explain that this interpretation is implausible? That the more likely reason for Obama’s behavior is that he is imprisoned in the ideology of loving your enemies and hating George W. Bush?Whatever the reason, Obama’s failure may destroy his presidency. His betrayal of democracy and human rights through a series of pronouncements and small actions during his first months in office had been correctable until now. But the thousand daily decisions that usually make up policy are eclipsed by big-bang moments such as we are now witnessing. Failure to use the bully pulpit to give the Iranian people as much support as possible is morally reprehensible and a strategical blunder for which he will not be forgiven….”

Less than two weeks ago, Barack Obama made a speech to the Islamic world.  He pretty much told them “I am here for you. I, Barack Hussein Obama, will be by your side.” 

Unfortunately the youth of the world being young and gullible listened and took Barack Obama’s words at face value as did many others during last year’s election.  And last week, the youth of Tehran inspired and remembering the words of Barack Obama reacted to those words.  They rose up and set about on their quest for democracy for the whole world to see.  Little did they know that they were about to experience an epiphany.

Such epiphany would expose this American president as no other before him.  Barack Obama turned his back without blinking an eye on the very people he spoke to just days before. 

The problem with teleprompters and Obama is that he immediately forgot his words as if they were never spoken about as fast as he chose to ignore those crying out for justice and democracy in the streets of Tehran. 

In so doing, Obama has exposed himself to the world.  Such exposure may cost him the respect of other nations and his presidency because now everyone knows that Barack Hussein Obama is a hypocrite.

While Obama meant for his words to move the Islamic communities globally, the world realizes that Barack Obama is nothing more than an empty vessel incapable of communication without his speechwriters and teleprompter in tow.

Food for thought.  Since Barack Hussein Obama has been in office, we have witnessed our rights being infringed upon day after day, the appointment of czars and ongoing nationalization of the auto industry and banks….and this is just the beginning. 

Obama is doing everything in his power to usurp and nullify the power of Congress and the Senate while diminishing the rights of Americans.  He has set about increasing the size, control and power of government in every aspect of American life.   

Can it be that we have an administration where democracy, freedom and human rights have been placed on the back burner and will eventually find itself later on no longer an option for the United States?

How is it that since Obama has been in office, he has not discussed “democracy” or “human rights”?

“Obama seems to believe that democracy is overrated, or at least overvalued. When asked about the subject in his pre-inaugural interview with the Washington Post, Obama said that he is more concerned with “actually delivering a better life for people on the ground and less obsessed with form, more concerned with substance.” He elaborated on this thought during his April visit to Strasbourg, France:

‘We spend so much time talking about democracy—and obviously we should be promoting democracy everywhere we can. But democracy, a well-functioning society that promotes liberty and equality and fraternity, does not just depend on going to the ballot box. It also means that you’re not going to be shaken down by police because the police aren’t getting properly paid. It also means that if you want to start a business, you don’t have to pay a bribe. I mean, there are a whole host of other factors that people need . . . to recognize in building a civil society that allows a country to be successful.’

Whether or not the President was aware of it, he was echoing a theme first propounded long ago by Soviet propagandists and later sung in many variations by all manner of Third World dictators, Left to Right. It has long since been discredited by a welter of research showing that democracies perform better in fostering economic and social well being, keeping the peace, and averting catastrophes. Never mind that it is untoward for a President of the United States to speak of democracy as a mere ‘form,’ less important than substance.”

Boat People To Be Sent Back To Myanmar And Uncertain Fate

BANGKOK, Thailand (CNN) — Scores of boat people who fled Myanmar and are now in Thailand are to be sent back despite human rights groups’ concerns they could be tortured or killed upon return.

“They will have to be sent back, according to our law,” Thailand’s Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva told CNN. “They are entering the country illegally. We do what they would do.”

The 12 boys and 66 men who arrived are among thousands of members of the Rohingya minority who have fled Myanmar, formerly known as Burma, because of persecution and in search of a better life.

Many of them make it across a dangerous sea crossing in crowded boats to Thailand where they are housed in camps. But the Thai navy has been accused of forcing the boats back out to sea.

The 78 people targeted for deportation are being held in Ranong, in southern Thailand. Two remain in hospital and no date has been set for the forced repatriation, an immigration official said.

But human rights groups are concerned about what will happen to the men and boys when they return.

 “We know as a point of fact that there are Rohingya who’ve been returned to Myanmar who have ended up in prison,” Benjamin Zawacki, from Amnesty International, said.

“The Myanmar government has interviewed these 78. Our fear is that if these people are sent back, the government has a record of who they are, where their families are,” Zawacki said. “They may be tortured and or they could even be killed. That wouldn’t be out of the question — that is the real fear.”

Sunai Phasuk, Thailand-Burma researcher for Human Rights Watch, said that the Rohingya had the “unenviable distinction of being the most blighted” people in Myanmar.

“Denied citizenship, subject to tight restrictions on movement, employment and religious freedoms, this Muslim minority have been the target of abuses by the Burmese military for decades,” he said.

“Today they face serious risks of state violence and coercion, in part arising from preparations to build a pipeline through their region that will deliver offshore gas to China. Already reports are emerging of forced relocations and other abuses tied to gas exploitation.”

The Myanmar government has not responded to CNN’s request for an interview, but the plight of the Rohingya will be discussed at this weekend’s ASEAN summit of South-East Asian nations, which the Myanmar prime minister and foreign minister are expected to attend. However, the man that effectively runs the country, Senior General Than Shwe, will not attend.

Thai Prime Minister Vejjajiva has stressed the need for regional cooperation to help solve the problem of the thousands of Rohingya fleeing Myanmar. His government views them as economic migrants rather than political refugees and said it cannot accommodate them in Thailand.

A recent CNN investigation found evidence that the Thai army was towing boatloads of Rohingya out to sea and cutting them adrift. Hundreds are thought to have died as a result.

Vejjajiva said the practice has stopped and insisted the Rohingya were given supplies of food and water. “We regret some of the incidents that have happened in the past, they are now being corrected,” he said.
