As the investigation of Hillary Clinton and her private email scandal is winding down, it’s just been discovered that Michelle Obama may have been involved in an email scandal of her own.

The American Medical Association (AMA) released an obesity study last year that revealed that rates have actually changed less than they did in the previous decade. Rather than processing that information, Michelle’s reps decided to claim that obesity in children between ages 2 and 5 fell from 13.9% to 8.4%. More to the point, the obesity rate for children between 2 and 5 years of age fell from 13.9% in 2003-2004 to 8.4 percent in 2011-2012.

The Daily Caller received emails in response to their FOIA request indicating that the White House may have directed the CDC and Health and Human Services to place emphasis on the above point while ignoring the rest of the report, the purpose of which was give to credit “Let’s Move” cementing Michelle Obama’s legacy.

The problem with Michelle O’s legacy initiative like everything else in the Obama administration consists of a compilation of fuzzy math, selective data and half-truths.

According to a February 26 email by CDC’s senior press officer, Karen Hunter, the press release giving Michelle O’ credit was skewed “to highlight the good news per HHS request.”

Scientists inside out of the CDC concluded that “Let’s Move” which began in 2010 played no role in the decline in childhood obesity rates.

Tavenner is scheduled to testify; one can only hope that last Friday evening’s document dump, which consisted of HHS proposed new regulations for 2017, and former CMS employee, Michelle Snyder’s temper tantrum and bullying are on the docket as well. WASHINGTON – Last night, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., sent letters calling on Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Marilyn Tavenner and ObamaCare architect Jonathan Gruber to testify on Tuesday, December 9^th before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on repeated transparency failures and outright deceptions surrounding ObamaCare.

“From the outset, the health law has been the poster child for this Administration’s broken transparency promises,” Chairman Issa said in a statement. “Americans were told if they liked their plans and doctors, they could keep them. They were told the individual mandate wasn’t a tax. None of these were true. Jonathan Gruber, one of ObamaCare’s chief architects, publicly lauded the ‘lack of transparency’ that was necessary to pass the law and credited ‘the stupidity of the American voter’ that allowed the Administration to mislead the public. CMS Administrator Marilyn Tavenner testified before our Committee that the Administration met its goals by enrolling 7.3 million individuals, however we now know that wasn’t the case. The numbers provided by CMS were deceptive and obscured the number of Americans running from exchange plans. The American people deserve honesty, transparency and respect from those who forced the federal government into their healthcare. I expect Mr. Gruber and Administrator Tavenner to testify publicly next month about the arrogance and deceptions surrounding the passage and implementation of ObamaCare.”

Yesterday, the Oversight Committee explained how the Administration exaggerated ObamaCare’s September enrollment figures, obscuring the fact that more than one million individuals dropped out since May 2014. Adding dental plans allowed the Administration to tout an enrollment total inflated by 400,000 and created the false impression that it had surpassed its goal of 7 million. Only after the Committee’s finding became public did CMS Administrator Tavenner confirm the discrepancy calling it a “mistake.”

If you like your Obamacare plan, you may or may not be able to keep that either, that is according to new regulations proposed by HHS as revealed in the Obama administration’s latest Friday night document dump.

The new regulations proposed by HHS scheduled to go into effect in time for the 2016 re-enrollment period are as follows:

…Under current rules, consumers who do not take action during the open enrollment window are re-enrolled in the same plan they were in the previous year, even if that plan experienced significant premium increases. We are considering alternative options for re-enrollment, under which consumers who take no action might be defaulted into a lower cost plan rather than their current plan. We are considering allowing states to pursue these sorts of re-enrollment alternatives for coverage in 2016. The [federal exchange] is exploring such an approach for coverage in 2017….

Another next step in the Obamacare power and money grab, i.e., fear mongering to justify HHS dismissing the voice of Americans while shoving unwanted healthcare plans down the throats of Americans (sound familiar), filching our pockets down to the last speck of lint and delivering very little.

Translation: For the reason that the Communist elites know better. Just ask Jonathan Gruber who boasted often enough:

“Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage. And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really, really critical for the thing to pass.”

Given how difficult it was to enroll people in Obamacare last year, particularly after the wave of technical problems, HHS wants to make sure it doesn’t have to redo all the hard work it takes to renew individual policies every year. So that explains the desire to automatically renew everybody who already has a plan — unless they want to change their policies….

So now HHS is proposing to fix this with another rule that would bump people off their Obamacare plans into plans that, while cheaper, may not meet their needs in terms of deductibles, choice of doctors, or a litany of other factors that drive health insurance choices — unless they navigate the Obamacare exchange each year to pick a new plan….

Obama has an Ebola Czar who Re-Directed Fed Research $$$ to a Democrat Donor Now in Chapter 11

I bet you didn’t even know that Barack Obama had an Ebola czar. Well don’t feel bad, neither did I and like the CDC, it appears that Dr. Nicole Lurie has been doing everything BUT her job. Politics, politics, politics.

Nicole Lurie, M.D., M.S.P.H. is the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), HHS, the position of which was created after Hurricane Katrina.

According to the HHS.gov website, “her office is to lead the nation in preventing, responding to and recovering from the adverse health effects of public health emergencies and disasters, ranging from hurricanes to bioterrorism.”

So why haven’t we heard of Lurie and why has the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response been MIA these past several weeks during the firestorm surrounding the outbreak of the Ebola virus and its bungling by the Obama administration? (Unless, of course, Americans, the world as a whole is being misled and this Ebola is a hoax as many maintain it to be.)

Lurie, corruption, pay to play, politics and the Obama administration’s lack of transparency is the reason that Americans have had to suffer Tom Freiden, CDC jackass who has been thrust to the forefront.

Putting Lurie on display would re-open a scandal which never gathered any steam in the mainstream media back in 2011 involving billionaire, Progressive political donor Ron Perelman and a no-bid contract for contract for New York-based Siga Technologies Inc. of which Perelman is the controlling shareholder.

Siga received the contract “a $433-million plan to buy an experimental smallpox drug, despite uncertainty over whether it is needed or will work”…. “ through a ‘sole-source’ procurement.”

Dr. Nicole Lurie, a presidential appointee who heads biodefense planning at Health and Human Services, cited a 2004 finding by the Bush administration that there was a “material threat” smallpox could be used as a biological weapon.

One more thing, just four weeks ago, Siga Technologies filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

The chapter 11 filing will ensure that SIGA continues to supply Tecovirimat pursuant to its contract with the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), and is able to pursue what it believes is a meritorious appeal of a pending Delaware Chancery Court proceeding….

The petition for reorganization was filed in response to “an Aug. 8 ruling from Delaware’s Court of Chancery in a suit that started in 2006. The corporate law court said PharmAthene is entitled to collect lump sum damages, with interest and fees.”

What is abundantly clear is that the Obama administration having its hands full would rather this scandal not re-surface. Thus, it is therefore necessary to keep, HHS, Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, Nicole Lurie, M.D., in the background at all costs.

At this moment, House Energy and Commerce Committee is holding a hearing on the government’s response to the Ebola outbreak. Nicole Lurie is not present. Why was she not called to testify and why hasn’t she taken on the effort “to coordinate preparation for and response to public health threats like Ebola.”

These are the concerns that House Energy and Commerce Committee should also be addressing at this very moment. The fact that they are not is more proof that this whole thing stinks from the top down.

MEDIA BLACKOUT on Secret Postponement of Obamacare’s Individual Mandate

As NOT reported by the mainstream media, at the same time that HHS Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius, informed the House, Ways and Means Committee panel at a hearing Wednesday that “there will be ‘no delay’ in enforcing that so-called individual mandate”, the Wall Street Journal was reporting that the Obama administration individual mandate was repealed one week ago until one month before the 2016 elections. Really, but don’t tell anyone because it’s a secret.

Thus, the implications are that Sebelius perjured herself under oath.

“…last week the Administration quietly excused millions of people from the requirement to purchase health insurance or else pay a tax penalty.

This latest political reconstruction has received zero media notice, and the Health and Human Services Department didn’t think the details were worth discussing in a conference call, press materials or fact sheet. Instead, the mandate suspension was buried in an unrelated rule that was meant to preserve some health plans that don’t comply with ObamaCare benefit and redistribution mandates. Our sources only noticed the change this week.

That seven-page technical bulletin includes a paragraph and footnote that casually mention that a rule in a separate December 2013 bulletin would be extended for two more years, until 2016. Lo and behold, it turns out this second rule, which was supposed to last for only a year, allows Americans whose coverage was cancelled to opt out of the mandate altogether….

Belarus developers wrote Obamacare software inserting malicious malware to breach site

As if Americans need another reason to avoid the Healthcare.gov sites, we are now learning that the Obama administration (HHS) contracted developers in Russian linked Belarus to write the software program for the Healthcare.gov sites.

U.S. intelligence agencies last week informed Health & Human Services that software developer firm EPAM, who helped build the Healthcare.gov site, may have inserted malicious software creating a secret back door that would allow spying and countless cyber security attacks.

In addition, this illegal backdoor would compromise the personal information of millions of Americans who signed up for Obamacare vulnerable to identity theft and bank fraud.  Healthcare providers, government agencies and medical institutions are also vulnerable.

… Security officials urged HHS to immediately conduct inspections of the network software for malicious code. The software currently is used in all medical facilities and insurance companies in the United States. The officials also recommended that HHS use security specialists not related to software vendors for the inspections to reduce further risks….

U.S. intelligence discovered the problem when Valery Tsepkalo, director of the government-backed High-Technology Park (HTP) located in Minsk revealed their role in “helping Obama complete his insurance reform.”  Translation:  HHS is a client and those gullible Americans who signed up for Obamacare, our personal ATMs.

‘…Our programmers wrote the program that appears on the monitors in all hospitals and all insurance companies—they will see the full profile of the given patient,’ Tsepkalo said June 25 on Voice of Russia Radio….

The software enables hackers or government agencies to route data from the Obamacare website to foreign locations in stealth mode.

For the record, there has already been an occasion(s) when traffic from the Healthcare.gov sites was re-routed to Belarus enabling government officials and hackers to sift through the information of millions of Americans raising privacy concerns.
