Judge Roy Moore, Veterans Day

On Saturday, Alabama Republican Senate candidate, Judge Roy Moore addressed his supporters at a public library in Birmingham, Alabama.

During Moore’s 30-minute speech, Moore spoke out against allegations of pedophilia, etc. levied against the candidate by the Washington Post. Moore defended himself, denied the scurrilous allegations levied against him by the swamp’s smear merchants and even took a swipe at the Washington Post itself.

To the disgust of Republican Party elitists and as ignored by the Washington Post, veterans and Republican supporters of the candidate toward the end of the candidate’s speech gave Moore a standing ovation (OMG, how could they? Who are these people? sarcasm).

Twice now in a quarter century feminists have attempted to parlay their own political hypocrisy into attempting to force men into a kind of psychological subjugation, complete with dog collars.

Guilty by Reputation, Guilty at Law

Harvey Weinstein fills an important niche in this history of political hypocrisy. Yes, hypocrisy, not sexual predation, where he is actually rather ordinary.

Sexual predation has been with us since New York became a metropolis.. And from the beginning there was the “predator by reputation” and the “predator at law”. As a former criminal defense lawyer I’m absolutely religious about keeping the two concepts separate, since guilt-by-reputation is almost impossible to defend against if one is innocent….and that is precisely the power the Feminists have been driving toward attaining for many years.

We’ve seen this in politics in recent history, and even in the dim past of Hollywood (see below), but it was practiced on smaller scales in colleges of the 60s, as when 4 or 5 Tri Delts teamed up to tag a guy at Kappa Alpha (Dieu et les dames) as being a habitual masher because, after drunken behavior with a sister at a kegger, then throwing up on her best party dress, then, sin of all sins, he failed to offer to pay for its cleaning, or offer at least one of several courtesies of the day, a card, flowers or other gesture of repentance, all of which separated the Greek community from the average hoi polloi who still went out on blind dates. In those days, that the less-than-gallant KA also actually copped a feel wasn’t necessarily a part of the sisters’ indictment for the guy to earn a bad reputation. Still, within two weeks he couldn’t get a date anywhere in the Greek community. Forbidden fruit.

It was just as tough in small towns. A girl with a “reputation” was a girl to be avoided in every respectable home, s one to be avoided at all costs. But woe betide the young man who spread untrue tales about a girl, especially if she had big brothers.

There were always rules, for both males and females could be mean and vicious, so all sorts of extra-legal methods of  suppressing uncalled-for rumors evolved, from shunning (ostracism) to sending the aforementioned three big brothers over to teach that kid a lesson who said those ugly things about their sister.

This informal system evolved over perhaps a hundred year trial period, with regional variations around the country, but you can see how such a hit-and-miss system of sexual justice just cried out for more formal regulation. And over the last 30 years or so schools especially, then the workplace, had come up various cookie-cutter, one-size fits all solutions.

We all know how well those have worked, where in many companies, and several colleges a simple glare amounts to sexual harassment. And can be reported, and the culprit has to write an essay on “white privilege” or somesuch.

But this is not to confuse us with Harvey Weinstein or Hollywood. They are both the real deal.  I’m sure unauthorized biographies are already in the works, and probably show that he was a masher at least from his years at the University of Buffalo in the 1970s. I’d bet that he wanted to work in Hollywood primarily because that was where the girls were. Better, the original sin city, den of iniquity, debauchery-town Hollywood was where men with talent could become rich and famous, and Harvey and brother Bob proved they were of that caliber. Took about 15 years. Moreover, for Harvey, who looks the part of the guy who couldn’t get laid in a women’s prison with a fistful of pardons, Hollywood’s “casting couch” reputation provided a source of power for un-handsome men, allowing them to avoid having to pay for hookers on South Figueroa[…]

Some Americans credit Donald Trump for the success of Brexit, while others are saying Trump owes Brexit for bumping his campaign toward the presidency.

Actually, both are true to a point, but in a reciprocating way. But the key to understanding that symbiosis is not found in single issues, such as immigration, as some surmise, but in the darkening mood of the industrialized world which has been simmering on a hot stove since the end of the Cold War. Today “globalism”, which only a week ago was acknowledged to be a good thing, when spoken of in the most general of terms, as rolled off the virtuous tongues of world leaders such as Barack Obama and Angela Merkel, has suddenly been shred of its noble raiment and wrapped in a darker aspect; as nothing more than a coterie of corporatists and statists. “Bleeding fascists.” Big Business allied with Big Government had just gotten too damned big. Or so sayeth 54% of the citizens of the United Kingdom.

I doubt Donald Trump foresaw this, or the role he might have played in it. He’s no Wat Tyler. I doubt he even knows who Wat Tyler was. Still, he probably, quite by accident, captured this mood like a firefly, lighting up half the world. A herald of things to come.

About that zeitgeist then, it is aimed at something more elemental than Islamic immigration, or racism and bigotry, as the Left have always called it, and Fleet Street mercantilists and Wall Street crony-capitalists have chimed in to call it lately.

It is aimed, rather, at that underlying, more ancient cancer shared mutually in both Europe and America. Bureaucratism.

Much of modern history since the formal formation of the European Union in 1993 has been defined on just where their various breaking points are. When Bulgaria applied for provisional membership after the Kosovo War I warned my government friends there that they would be swapping economic benefits for a few in exchange for burdensome regulation on the many by a faceless, nameless bureaucracy in Brussels. We’ll take action from the outside”

“Since my campaign ended, I’ve been honored to hear from so many people who asked me to continue because they felt I was the person who could help this country fix things that urgently needed fixing. I will continue to lead but not as a candidate, because I chose to put family first.

I will continue to be your voice and our voice. We will make 9-9-9 a movement. We will put “strength” back into Peace through Strength and Clarity. We will become energy independent. We will put “united” back into the United States of America.

I know this from you: When the people understand it, they will demand it!

We can’t count on the mainstream media to properly inform us, because too many members of the media are chasing the sensationalized or distorted story. Many Members of Congress are so busy trying to keep up with the legislative process, small incremental changes in the laws and the partisan cat fights that the big changes needed never get addressed. Worse yet, they never even try.

We have seen repeatedly that expecting 535 Members of Congress and the president to make bold changes to truly fix problems from the inside of Washington is not going to happen. Washington is broken! We must change it from the outside.

The late Sen. Everett Dirksen popularized the phrase “when they feel the heat, they will see the light.” We will be the heat like they have never felt it before. Politicians’ actions are ultimately determined by what they believe the people are demanding of them. We will demand bold changes.

This is why I have created The Cain Solutions.

With your continued help and support, The Cain Solutions is designed to change the dynamics in Washington, D.C. The critics will say this can’t be done. Remember, these are the same critics who did not think we would make it as far as we did in the Republican presidential nominating contest.

Whether the pundits like it or not, my campaign took off because of the 9-9-9 plan. It was a classic case of an idea that was substantive, effective and easy for people to understand. The tax code is a mess. Rates are too high, loopholes are too prevalent and people in Washington are constantly trying to use the tax code to manipulate behaviors and outcomes. The 9-9-9 plan would achieve a massive transfer of power from Washington to the people. We can make that happen.

Sound money involves both fiscal and monetary sanity. Congress and the White House refuse to enact a responsible budget that’s balanced and achieves real spending restraint. They refuse to address major spending commitments that have us saddled with massive debt and unfunded entitlement obligations. And they constantly try to manipulate the currency to cover this up. Sound money policy would stop the pretending, stop the manipulation and bring back a strong dollar along with sensible fiscal behavior.

Finally, energy independence gets into everything from regulatory reform to national security. Most people have no idea how severely excessive federal regulations hamper our ability to access plentiful, affordable energy resources right here in the USA. Excessive regulations add mightily to the cost of exploration and distribution. And as we are now seeing, we can’t even build a pipeline to get oil from our friends in Canada due to a political stalling tactic by the president.

This regulatory environment is insane. Politicians yammer on about “job creation,” but there is scarcely a better way to create jobs than to get out of the way of domestic oil extraction, production and distribution. It addresses a real need and a real demand that will exist for a very long time in the future. If the people realized this, they would demand an end to these crazy regulatory policies – and change would come.

Now that the right is divided and many on the right for whatever reason could not wait to abandon the Cain train, the liberal media is laughing their butts off so much so that they will now from here on in throw it in the face of America and Republicans through Election 2012 in Marxist propaganda to the gullible.

Progressives will spin the illusion that Republicans are racist by invoking the name of Herman Cain.

While it is not true, if Cain leaves the primary, rest assured, the reasons for his departure will be twisted in every direction and since Progressives are good at tainted realities, many will believe it.

In the end, it will even cost the Republican Party votes because it will be hard for those who have been brainwashed their whole lives to see it any other way than how it will be spun by the Marxist running the show.
