A petition from an Arlington, Texas man, launched Nov. 9 via the Obama White House website’s “We the People” tool, had more than 58,000 signatures. That’s more than twice the 25,000 it had Monday morning, a number required to trigger an automatic White House review, according to the administration’s own published rules.
A similar petition from a Louisiana native crossed the 25,000 threshold as Monday drew to a close on the East Coast.
Launched Nov. 7, the day after Obama won re-election, the Pelican State’s spark set off an Internet-driven cascade of disaffected tea partiers and other conservatives looking — as one petition organizer told The Daily Caller via a ‘direct message’ on Twitter — ‘just to do something, anything, to show we’re not going away quietly….

Nancy Carvalho, director of food services for New Bedford Public Schools, was quoted as saying that hummus and black bean salads have been tough sells in elementary cafeterias. That means even smaller children are going through the day fighting hunger pains, which can never be considered a good thing.

There is, of course, no shortage of hypocrisy wherein Michelle “do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do” Obama’s #MichelleOsSchoolLunchMenu is concerned in that:
(a) You would not feed that crap to a dog (no offense to our canine buddies),
(b) While the Obamas would not feed the #MichelleOsSchoolLunchMenu to their daughters, Sasha and Malia, it has been in the eyes of these elitists, deemed sufficient enough for everyone else’s children; and finally,
(c) The Sidwell School menu (copy below) is nothing like the #MichelleOsSchoolLunchMenu. In other words, Sasha and Malia’s school lunch is far more superior lunch than the lunch that their mother has regulated for the digestion of students across America.
Giving credit where credit is due, America’s school children are not that indoctrinated after all. Simply put, this revolt has been a long time coming.

The “do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do” Obamas have one hell of a scheme going on. The food wreaks, the costs have increased yet according to out of touch Progressives, it’s not the menu or the food that is at fault but the children.

Moving on, let us not get it twisted, the Obama’s collectivist agenda in lieu of freedom, individualism, personal responsibility along with historical revisionism as practiced by Progressives and America’s children growing up illiterate, indoctrinated and government servants remain a far more superior threat to our nation and its future than obesity. Also keeping in mind, Barack’s ineptitude, acts of treason and repetitive failure to attend daily intelligence briefings.
Camarada Michelle’s schema to compel #MichelleOsSchoolLunchMenu down the throats of students across America under the guise of it being for their own good is backfiring badly. The menu and the hypocrisy are not lost on students or their parents, all of whom are refusing to be a pawn in MO’s moneymaking scheme, all of whom are making their voices heard. H/t Twitchy.

MUKWONAGO, Wis. – Michelle Obama and the federal government have altered the federally-funded school lunch menu to make sure students don’t ingest too many calories over the course of the day.But many students at Mukwonago (Wisconsin) High School say the new memo leaves them feeling hungry. They say a ‘once-size-fits-all’ menu doesn’t fit them very well at all.
On Monday, 70 percent of the 830 students boycotted cafeteria food to register their displeasure. About half of all middle school students did the same thing.
‘A freshman girl who weights 100 pounds can eat this lunch and feel completely full, maybe even a little bloated,’ Joey Bougneit, a Mukwonago senior, told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel….

Regardless of how indoctrinated public school children are or will be, one thing remains certain. They are adamant about what they will and will not put in their stomachs and no amount of government legislation or love of Obama can change that.
