Maybe the correct title of this post should be, “As if Limbaugh’s the only one.”

As most of you already know, I tend to at times view the world through another lens which I chose to do this past weekend.  I ran my own little test, the results of which are provided below.

I showed the above video clip of the statements made by Sandra Fluke, the Georgetown law student, who has indicated that spending $3,000 a year for contraceptives out of her pocket for her have sex is not financially viable for her and should thus be funded by the federal government, er correction taxpayers.

I asked for reactions to Fluke’s statements and must say that the responses were far more harsh than that of Rush Limbaugh.

Not sugar coated in anyway, I must warn you that the language that came out of said results at times are quite raw and may be offensive to some.

Bear in mind that I reside in NYC, a socialist state almost by nature. Everyone who shared their opinions consider themselves Democrats and voted for Barack Obama.  In addition, only a handful of those I interveiwed are a part of the welfare state.

GROUP 1:  My son and his buddies.  The average age of these men are from their late 20’s to late 30’s.  Some of the immediate reactions were as follows:

“Ho!”

“Girl’s a f#### slut yo!”

“Ain’t that what Planned Parenthood is for?”

“Yo son, that b***** is a ho! Oh, excuse me Ms. S.”

“Georgetown huh? Where’s her dormroom?  I want to get in on this action!”

“So it’s like that huh?  Where she live Ma?”

GROUP 2:  Young Black American women, average age 18 to mid 30’s whose reactions were:

“What’s up with this b*****, she think she too good for Planned Parenthood?”

 “How she gonna go on tv and put her business out there like that? What’s up with  that”

“Ho!”

“Yo, she goes to Georgetown?  That ho’ is f***** her a*** off while she should be getting an education.  Let me go there!”

“Damn this b**** is a whore, omg!”

“She should be ashamed of herself.  Pay for your own contraceptives if you want to be out there like that.”

GROUP 3:  Mature adults (men and women) approximately ages 40 and over:

“I’m glad that’s not my daughter.  Her parents are paying for her to get a good education and instead she out there messing around all over the place.”

“That girl should be ashamed of herself going on down there and putting her business on the street like that.  That ain’t nothing to be proud of.”

“I don’t give a damn what she doing, I don’t want my tax dollars paying for her whoring around.  If she can afford to go to Georgetown, let her buy her own damn contraceptives.”

“These young girls out here are a bunch of whores.  I don’t know what their problem is.”

“Let her take her a** to Planned Parenthood, Walgreens, Duane Reade or Rite Aide like everyone else.  I ain’t paying of her to be out there f###### around.”

“She’s a ho, what do you expect?”

“She want to f### around, she can pay for her own shit.  I don’t pay for my own child to screw around there, why should I pay for someone else’s?”

“Thats why there’s so many diseases out there.”

Of course, when I recounted Limbaugh’s statement and the attacks being levied against him by the left, some folks responded “Rush Limbaugh, well he’s a racist anyway” while others agreed with the man even though they admitted that they were not Limbaugh fans.

One common denominator is that all were equally disgusted by Fluke’s statements.

For those who feel the need to lash out at me for my findings, forgeddaboudit!  They are what  they are.  I am not interested in engaging you, debating you, your attempts at baiting me or hearing from the Progressive side of the planet.

No amount of demonizing Rush Limbaugh will change the overwhelming viewpoints of Americans on both the left and the right in their true assessment of Fluke’s performance or the facts, which by the way happens to be that last week’s dog and pony show was exactly that thereby lacking any form of legitimacy whatsoever.

Moreover, Fluke is no victim or hero.  She is a so-called women’s rights activist close to a decade older than she stated last week before millions on C-SPAN and even worse a shameless propaganda tool for Progressives and guess whom else?  Oh yes, that never-ending campaigner-in-chief, Barack Obama, who rather than run on his accomplishments  failingss must run on distractions, misrepresentations, tainted realities and Marxist propaganda.

In other words, America, Fluke deception and participation in Pelosi’s circus last week was really about taking one for the boys.  Before Progressives reading this remark get all up in arms, note I said “taking one for the boys” not from the boys.

I refer you to The Blaze’s article referencing Sandra Fluke being a flake, fluke and propaganda tool for Marxists, primarily Barack Obama (my choice of words not theirs – excerpt below).

In one of her first interviews she is quoted as talking about how she reviewed Georgetown’s insurance policy prior to committing to attend, and seeing that it didn’t cover contraceptive services,  she decided to attend with the express purpose of battling this policy. During this time, she was described as a 23-year-old coed. Magically, at the same time Congress is debating the forced coverage of contraception, she appears and is even brought to Capitol Hill to testify. This morning, in an interview with Matt Lauer on the Today show, it was revealed that she is 30 years old,  NOT the 23 that had been reported all along….”

Free Cell Phone Service for the Poor to the Tune of $1.6 Billion

After losing his sales job, the 37-year-old single father of two from Perry, Md., couldn’t afford to continue his regular wireless contract. After learning of the federal program that provides wireless service to the oft-unemployed poor, Mensch signed up for a free Kyocera (KYO) cell phone with 250 free minutes of calling a month through Assurance Wireless, a brand run by Sprint Nextel (S). “Because of Assurance, I was able to get a call back from an employer,” says Mensch, who received a job offer in November after nearly two years without a job.

Sprint Nextel isn’t driven by altruism. Serving cash-pinched customers like Mensch can pay off due to federal government subsidies. And finding new customers isn’t hard. With unemployment at 9.4 percent and one in six Americans living in poverty, Sprint and rival América Movíl’s (AMX) TracFone unit have seen an explosion in sign-ups for the government-subsidized free wireless services they’ve offered for more than a year….”

While a free cell phone at the cost of taxpayer may have proven beneficial for the individual in the above article, as usual with entitlement programs, there is no shortage of abuse.

More than 12.5 million so-called low income Americans received free cell phones.  The cost for the free cell phones, a whopping $1.6 billion.

As usual with anything remotely connected to the government, there is the lack of oversight.  There are thousands with these free cell phones who do not qualify for the program and probably just as many who have more than one of these free cell phones.

McCaskill Moves to Stop Government Waste in Free Phone Program

“WASHINGTON, D.C. –  A government run cell phone program, ripe for fraud, has caught the attention of oversight advocate U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill who is seeking answers to questions about rampant abuse and waste in the program-and in a letter to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), McCaskill outlines steps she is taking to stop the fraud in its tracks.

The LifeLine program was created to provide phone service to low-income individuals.  McCaskill’s letter comes after she received a solicitation at her home for a free cell phone from the Lifeline program.  The mailer did not require documentation for proof of eligibility.  McCaskill is, in fact, not eligible for the program.

The Lifeline program is funded by the Universal Service Fund (USF), which receives its resources from a fee telephone users pay on their phone bills.  The FCC oversees the USF and, accordingly, the Lifeline program.

‘…I remain troubled by the expansive potential for the program to be abused, especially since Americans contribute to the program through their monthly phone bills,’ McCaskill wrote in a letter to the FCC.  ‘The current requirements to determine eligibility often do not require customer documentation for participation in Lifeline, which may result in individuals receiving phones who should not be…”

Several months ago, I telephoned a former associate and left a message on his voicemail.  When he returned my call, he said, “Sorry, I was on the other phone.”

When I asked this individual who lives off the government dole how is it that he does not work but he and his wife who does work can afford a landline in their apartment and two cell phones each, he told me about Safelink and the free phones.

I then asked this individual, “Why do you have two cell phones?” His response, as if I was the stupid one, “Cause it’s free.”

In other words, this couple is beating the system, rather ripping off the system.

Remember last summer when Michelle Obama visited a soup kitchen for the homeless and poor down the street from the White House?

Angry yet America?

For those who would say that this is a Federal program and no tax dollars are used, I say come again?

The Universal Service Fee or Universal Connectivity Fee you see on your monthly phone bills is nothing more than a tax.  Said tax goes into the fund, which finances this giveaway to the poor.

As a child, we did not have a telephone in our home.  For that matter, neither did most of the families who lived on my street.

There were two telephones on my block, one in the record shop down the street and the other in the candy store on the corner.

If you needed to make a telephone call, you went to either of these locations before 6 p.m., Monday through Saturdays.  At other times, we did without and we got along just fine.

Today, there are those who actually believe that it is their right to own a cell phone.  Correction:  Owning a cell phone or landline is not a right, not even for the poor.

“…U.S. Senator Tom Coburn, M.D. (R-OK) today released a new oversight report, “Wastebook 2011″ that highlights over $6.5 billion in examples of some of the most egregious ways your taxpayer dollars were wasted. This report details 100 of the countless unnecessary, duplicative and low-priority projects spread throughout the federal government.

‘Video games, robot dragons, Christmas trees, and magic museums. This is not a Christmas wish list, these are just some of the ways the federal government spent your tax dollars. Over the past 12 months, politicians argued, debated and lamented about how to reign in the federal government’s out of control spending. All the while, Washington was on a shopping binge, spending money we do not have on things we do not absolutely need. Instead of cutting wasteful spending, nearly $2.5 billion was added each day in 2011 to our national debt, which now exceeds $15 trillion,’ Dr. Coburn said.

A select few of the dirty hundred:

• $75,000 to promote awareness about the role Michigan plays in producing Christmas trees & poinsettias.

• $15.3 million for one of the infamous Bridges to Nowhere in Alaska.

• $113,227 for video game preservation center in New York.

• $550,000 for a documentary about how rock music contributed to the collapse of the Soviet Union.

• $48,700 for 2nd annual Hawaii Chocolate Festival, to promote Hawaii’s chocolate industry.

• $350,000 to support an International Art Exhibition in Venice, Italy.

• $10 million for a remake of “Sesame Street” for Pakistan.

• $35 million allocated for political party conventions in 2012.

• $765,828 to subsidize “pancakes for yuppies” in the nation’s capital.

• $764,825 to study how college students use mobile devices for social networking….”

Talk about wasteful spending.  Where does it end?

Everyone from Obama down is asleep at the wheel or simply looking the other way.

 

 

This has to stop.

Video game preservation?  Really?  Why?

Practically every person on the planet with access to technology is hooked in some form or fashion to video games (present company excluded).

Dead federal employees receiving benefit checks.  With all the crooks in government, are we really surprised America?

Robot dragons?????

Every one of these programs should be eliminated immediately.

The time is now to start with a clean slate.

Said spending is not only a kick in the gut of every taxpaying American but an insult to our intelligence. VOTE THEM ALL OUT!

Obama Admin Bails Out GM Salmon Firm, AquaBounty, Despite Evidence That the Firm Could Soon Run Out Of Cash

“The Obama administration awarded a coveted research grant to a financially strapped company working to put genetically modified (GM) salmon on American dinner tables, overlooking disclosures that the firm could run out of cash in early 2012, it has emerged.

Campaigners say the $500,000 grant to AquaBounty amounts to a bail-out for the firm’s main investor, the business tycoon and former economics minister of Georgia, Kakha Bendukidze. They are also comparing it to the Solyndra controversy, which saw a solar company go bankrupt after receiving government loan guarantees.

‘Certainly this does have shades of Solyndra. We have seen this company’s stock plummeting for months and months – years actually – and what does the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) do but give this company money?’, said Colin O’Neil, a policy analyst at the Centre for Food Safety, which opposes GM salmon.

‘This is research that any public university or independent institution could be doing, so why is the USDA funding this interested company to do it?’ he said.

The grant, awarded last month, comes at a critical juncture for AquaBounty.

After $67m and 16 years’ waiting, the Food and Drug Administration could pronounce GM salmon fit for human consumption within weeks, the company’s chief executive, Ronald Stotish, said.

‘Based on what we are seeing we believe we will have an approval by end of this year but we plan for all contingencies,’ he said…”
