Last week while everyone focused on the James Comey hearing, Attorney General Jeff Sessions put an end to Barack Obama’s Department of Justice slush fund scheme that kicked into high gear under Obama doling out millions to Marxist ideologues, community organizations and groups such as National Council of La Raza and National Urban League, the National Community Reinvestment Coalition, Black Lives Matter, Obama for America, etc. (What are the odds that Communist organizations Resist, Indivisible are also funded by taxpayers.)
AG Sessions in a memo to 94 U.S. attorneys’ announced his ending of “the practice that allowed companies to meet settlement burdens by giving money to groups that were neither victims nor parties to the case.”
“…When the federal government settles a case against a corporate wrongdoer, any settlement funds should go first to the victims and then to the American people— not to bankroll third-party special interest groups or the political friends of whoever is in power,” said Attorney General Jeff Sessions. “Unfortunately, in recent years the Department of Justice has sometimes required or encouraged defendants to make these payments to third parties as a condition of settlement. With this directive, we are ending this practice and ensuring that settlement funds are only used to compensate victims, redress harm, and punish and deter unlawful conduct.”
Under the last Administration, the Department repeatedly required settling parties to pay settlement funds to third party community organizations that were not directly involved in the litigation or harmed by the defendant’s conduct. Pursuant to the Attorney General’s memorandum, this practice will immediately stop.

What the organizations have in common is the destruction of the U. S. Constitution, the United States, spearheading Communism and the redistribution of wealth, an agenda of which billions was funded on the down low courtesy of American taxpayers.
In other words, Barack Obama fleeced the American taxpayers in the exact manner that race baiters, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson among others extort donations from corporations. No wonder they want President Donald Trump out of office. The President is in the way of their schemes and checkbooks.

For decades, through a variety of initiatives, the DOJ has insisted on donations to third parties as part of the settlements it reaches with defendants, especially corporations. In the Obama administration, this practice took on the character of a “slush fund,” which funneled hundreds of millions of dollars from these corporate defendants and put it into the hands of non-government organizations….
Begun in the 1970s with the Community Reinvestment Act, the practice of requiring banks and financial institutions to fund “community organizations” in settlements to offset supposed wrongdoing exploded in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis. The Obama-era Department of Justice came to massive settlements with big banks over a multitude of alleged unfair lending practices. Part of the Obama DOJ’s remedy was for millions of dollars to be transferred to these often left-wing groups that, among other things, provide mortgage assistance. This policy was the subject of a scathing 2016 report by the independent Government Accountability Institute.

At least a billion dollars was doled out and likely still being doled out by Obama holdovers in the Civil Rights Division (keep an eye on them) to Communist organizations at war if Americans, at war with the sitting President of the United States, his agenda and you darned well bet, at war with AG Sessions cutting up their bank cards.
What are the odds that Progressives will go after AG Sessions tomorrow before the before the Senate Intelligence Committee for cutting off their credit cards and that of their Commie friends. I predict that Progressives will go for the jugular tomorrow.
The only thing that the President is obstructing is the agenda of Barack Obama and his comrades.
