At present in the White House, we have a man who has no respect for the United States Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, Articles of Confederation and the Bill of Rights, etc.
In 2001 on a Chicago radio station, Barack Obama called the Constitution flawed.
“I think it’s a remarkable document…
The original Constitution as well as the Civil War Amendments…but I think it is an imperfect document, and I think it is a document that reflects some deep flaws in American culture, the Colonial culture nascent at that time.
African-Americans were not — first of all they weren’t African-Americans — the Africans at the time were not considered as part of the polity that was of concern to the Framers. I think that as Richard said it was a ‘nagging problem’ in the same way that these days we might think of environmental issues, or some other problem where you have to balance cost-benefits, as opposed to seeing it as a moral problem involving persons of moral worth.
And in that sense, I think we can say that the Constitution reflected an enormous blind spot in this culture that carries on until this day, and that the Framers had that same blind spot. I don’t think the two views are contradictory, to say that it was a remarkable political document that paved the way for where we are now, and to say that it also reflected the fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day.”
The Clarion’s Call
Fast forward to Thursday, May 21, 2009. Obama needed to make a speech that would impress upon Congress and the Senate a plan for closing Guantanamo Bay in order to ascertain funding.
So what does this arrogant, self-anointed messiah, so-called master of manipulation have the audacity to do?
The drama king chooses the National Archives as the background for his speech. The location where this nation’s most important and most respected documents are kept safe, i.e., the documents that Barack Obama says are fundamentally flawed.
That was his first mistake. Draping himself in the Constitution and appearing once again as if he is campaigning with his cronies applauding at the drop of a hat, the speech, teleprompter and all in place did nothing to placate Congress. Barack the phony failed to bring it home.
Such audacity. Such hypocrisy. I can only imagine our founding fathers rolling over in their graves at the emptiness of Obama’s words and the smell of the b.s. he was feeding the nation.
Obama so dependent upon his teleprompter and the faithful who so ignorantly refer to their messiah as an eloquent speaker has yet to realize that Obama is not an eloquent speaker, but he is an eloquent reader. However, the eloquence of Obama’s reading did not stand a chance once Dick Cheney began to speak.
Who would have thought that Cheney had it in him? I know I didn’t. As I listened to Cheney yesterday, I found myself chuckling. Not because Cheney said anything funny. He didn’t. It was because I realized that members of the Obama administration were off somewhere banging their heads against a wall as they listened to Dick Cheney.
In short and in the former vp’s honor, “you don’t send a boy to do a man’s job.”
The Obama administration over estimated their messiah as much as they underestimated Dick Cheney. Hell, even I underestimated Dick Cheney, but from this day on, he has my attention, respectively.
If it were a prize fight, the folks in the hood would say, “Obama got his ass whooped!”
Within 10 minutes Obama’s speech, I found myself saying “give me a break” and turned the channel. His constant rhetoric of blaming the Bush administration has played itself out. If that is all he has, then he is in trouble. Not to mention the lies and ongoing embellishments, they too have played themselves out.
On the other hand, we had Cheney who was as serious as a heart attack (pardon the metaphor) surprisingly cool, calm and collective. The former vice president was taking no prisoners.
One can pretty much say that within the first ten minutes of Cheney’s speech, Obama was totally knocked out of the park. GAME OVER! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING!

The 10 punches Dick Cheney landed on Barack Obama’s jaw
“So who won the fight? (it’s hard to use anything other than a martial or pugilistic metaphor). Well, most people are on either one side or the other of this issue and I doubt today will have prompted many to switch sides.
But the very fact that Obama chose to schedule his speech (Cheney’s was announced first) at exactly the same time as the former veep was a sign of some weakness…..
Cheney’s speech wasn’t stylish, there were no rhetorical flourishes and the tone was bitingly sarcastic and disdainful at times. But it was effective in many respects and Cheney showed that Obama is not invulnerable. Here are 10 of the punches he landed on the President’s jaw:
1. ‘I’ve heard occasional speculation that I’m a different man after 9/11. I wouldn’t say that, but I’ll freely admit that watching a coordinated, devastating attack on our country from an underground bunker at the White House can affect how you view your responsibilities.’”

I repeat, “you don’t send a boy to do a man’s job.” Maybe Obambi should not spent so much time MIA when he was in the Senate. He just might have known better.
