Putting their ignorance and love of Communism on display, Black Lives Matter flew a planeload of students to Cuba to participate in the International Solidarity Brigade.
Last week, the BLM Chicago dispatched the following tweet:

Two of the crew held a sign that read: End U.S. economic embargo against Cuba now! Return Guantanamo to Cuba now! End all subversive programs against Cuba now!
On Monday, BLMChicago posted “the second half of our delegation is on the way to Cuba for May Day and the international solidarity Brigade!” accompanied by a picture of several students under a banner that read “BLMChi is Cuba bound!”

The goal, apparently, is to take in all of the supposedly great ideals of communism and implement them in the Windy City, where Black Lives Matter activists have campaigned relentlessly against police-involved shootings of black criminals[…]
Again, a Progressive organization, in this instance, Black Lives Matter has proven to the world (again) that Black lives (or any life for that matter) as far they BLM is concerned and unless it benefits the Communist agenda are not worth a damn.
This year’s May Day brigade to Cuba, its 12th hosted by the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) is the first time that Communists organizers in the United States are participating (officially anyway).
As posted on its website, The Militant
This year’s brigade is in honor of Fidel Castro and Che Guevara. Castro was the central leader of the 1959 revolution that overthrew the U.S.-backed dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista. He led Cuba’s workers and farmers to overthrow capitalism and start on the road to control their own destiny. He died last November….
Whether it’s on U. S. soil, African soil, or even Cuban soil where Blacks are brutalized, raped, tortured, murdered, imprisoned and oppressed by the Castro regime, the lives and suffering of all people do not register on BLM’s radar if Progressives cannot gin up useful idiots to take to the street.
How stupid are these people? Actually, the students have not been taught any better. The students going on this trip are in for a rude awakening per the first paragraph the The Militant’s April 24th article by Naomi Craine, member of the Socialist Workers Party National Committee.
Chicago event raises funds for May Day brigade to Cuba
“We’re planning this trip to build solidarity with the Cuban Revolution,” said Michael Jabari at an April 8 fundraiser to support participation in the 12th May Day International Brigade to Cuba.
B.S.
Brigade members will join hundreds of thousands of Cubans at the annual May Day march in Havana, take part in voluntary work in the fields and attend an international meeting to discuss building solidarity with the revolution. They will meet members of women’s, union, youth and other mass organizations and visit workplaces and surrounding cities.
“voluntary work in the fields?” Why the hell would they take AMERICAN students to work in the fields of Cuba, if only for a minute? Dog whistles for: Slavery! Indoctrination! You’ll cut that sugar cane and love it! Those students are so screwed!
This is a field trip, enslavement, and a brainwashing campaign all rolled into one. Back in the day, it was called survival camp (but that is a post for another day).
Students will not be allowed to “volunteer” because that’s not the way Communism works. Brainwash them with anti-USA propaganda while they’re working in the fields.
I suspect that students will not be allowed to “volunteer” because that’s not the way Communism works. Brainwash them with anti-USA propaganda while they’re working under the hot sun in the fields while omitting part about how brown skin teens, men and women are rotting in Cuba’s prison or have died because everything that Black teenagers in America love especially hip-hop are illegal.

Washington Free Beacon by Jenna Lifhits
Fidel Castro denounced President Obama’s attempt to restore relations with Cuba in a 1,500-word letter Sunday, a week after the president’s historic visit to the country.
“We don’t need the empire to give us any presents,” Castro said in the piece, which was published in the Cuban Communist Party’s official newspaper and titled “El hermano Obama” or “Brother Obama.” He wrote that Cubans are self-sufficient and “able to produce food and material wealth we need with the effort and intelligence of our people.”
The letter outlined Cuban history, including Spanish colonialism and Cuba’s role in defeating apartheid in South Africa, and emphasized America’s habitual aggression toward Cuba…
He rejected Obama’s claims that America and Cuba were “built in part by slaves…from America” and that Americans and Cubans “can trace their heritage to both slaves and slave-owners.”
“Native populations do not exist at all in Obama’s mind,” Castro wrote and poked at Obama’s youth. “Nor does he say that racial discrimination was swept away by the Revolution; that retirement and salary of all Cubans were declared by this before Mr. Barack Obama turned ten years old”[…]

Translation: “Know your place, you weak disillusioned man, Cuba’s jails are full of brown-skinned negros that look like you. Lastly, MYOB.”
Barack Obama has been hearing that last part to say out of other country’s politics quite a bit lately.
If Obama thought for a moment, that Cuba would bend over and kiss up….WRONG. Nor will his visit reset Cuba-American relations.

in≈ Comments Off on Watch Bernie Sanders Defend Fidel Castro in 1985 Interview
The Daily Sheeple by Joshua Krause
Bernie Sanders has made a big deal out of distancing himself from extreme leftist ideologies. He has made it clear over and over again, that he supports the kind of democratic socialism that is seen in Northern Europe, and has no intention of bringing heavy-handed totalitarian socialism to America. That may well be true, but he also seems to have a disturbing bias for those regimes.
In a 1985 interview, Sanders tried to explain why the Cuban people hadn’t tried to overthrow their own government, and why the people of Nicaragua wouldn’t do the same. His explanation speaks volumes about his socialist beliefs.
Yes, the people of Cuba didn’t overthrow Castro because his government provided good healthcare and education to the masses. It has nothing to do with the fact that popular discontent has been violently suppressed by Castro’s regime for decades.
During Wednesday’s Democratic debate, Sanders was twice asked to explain the video, and both times he failed to completely disavow the Cuban dictatorship. He admitted that the authoritarian nature of that government is wrong, and finally answered “Look, let’s look at the facts here. Cuba is, of course, an authoritarian undemocratic country, and I hope very much as soon as possible it becomes a democratic country. But on the other hand […], it would be wrong not to state that in Cuba they have made some good advances in health care. They are sending doctors all over the world. They have made some progress in education.”
I don’t think Sanders is trying to usher in some socialist dictatorship in America, but you have to question the values of a man who seems to think that proper education and health care, are both a fair trade for the loss of freedom and dignity.

in≈ Comments Off on American taxpayers pick up the tab to Feed and Shelter Cubans Stranded in Costa Rica
Wonder why the United States more than $19 trillion in debt?
In January of this year, Barack Obama pledged more $1 million that would go toward the temporary shelter, food, water, sanitation, etc. for thousands of Cubans who found themselves stranded in Costa Rica during their journey enroute to the U. S. Mexico border.
According to the New York Times article below, the number of Cubans stranded is “tens of thousands” but Fox News Latino quotes a figure of 4,100 Cubans stranded in Costa Rica.
New York Times by Frances Robles
MIAMI — The United States government has been paying to feed and shelter thousands of Cubans trying to migrate to the United States, in what critics consider another sign of the lopsided treatment provided to Cubans under American law.
The Obama administration has tried hard to deter the crush of migrants arriving from Central America in recent years. It has pressed Mexico to crack down on migrants passing through its territory, while women and children who managed to cross the American border have been held in detention facilities….
NOT REALLY!!!!! Then we have the matter of so-called “unintended consequences.”
…..American law gives Cubans special status to live in the United States and apply for a green card, provided they make it here. That has set off a rush of Cubans who have taken advantage of changes inside Cuba that make it easier to leave, and who are worried that the Obama administration’s improved relations with their government will soon erase their privileged status….
Tens of thousands of Cubans have been arriving each year to the southwestern United States border after making an arduous journey by land through eight nations. But Nicaragua put a stop to the exodus by refusing them passage in November, causing a bottleneck of about 8,000 Cubans in Costa Rica and 3,000 in Panama.
The Costa Rican government was forced to open 29 shelters in schools, fire stations and other locations around the country where the Cubans are fed and sleep on mats on the floor. Some 2,000 Cubans remain….
Just in time for the 2016 elections.

in≈ Comments Off on How does a Hellfire Missile on its Return to USA End up in Havana, Cuba?
Lockheed Martin Hellfire missile (wikimedia commons)
Reminiscent of Iran getting its hands on one of our drones a few years back, how on earth does Lockheed Martin ship a dummy missile to Spain for a training session after which it is loaded on an Air France flight destination Orlando, Florida but ends up instead in Havana, Cuba?
US defence officials are investigating how a Hellfire missile sent to Europe in 2014 for a training mission in Spain ended up in Cuba. The high-tech laser-guided air-to-ground missile is one of the main armaments used by the US military in its air campaign against ISIS in Iraq and Syria. The weapon can be fitted to helicopters, aircraft and unmanned drones and is used to destroy ground based targets.
The Wall Street Journal, quoting ‘people familiar with the matter’, claimed that one of the missiles had been shipped in the wrong container and instead of being returned to Florida, it went to Cuba[…]
Coincidence? Just one of things that happen every now and then? Not buying it especially since both incidents, the 2011 drone incident and now this occurs under the same administration, an administration run by a lawless brigade of thugs who covets Islamic terrorists AND Communists alike.
