Anti-Trump Electors Launch Fundraising Committee

In a declaration that if Jill Stein can raise funds for her recount initiatives in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan, Anti-Trump Electors can also fund raise soliciting “unlimited” funds from labor unions, corporations and useful idiots individuals for political reasons, i.e., blocking President-elect, Donald J. Trump’s presidency after submitting the proper paperwork to establish a non-profit corporation to Colorado’s Secretary of State.  Besides most bureaucrats never met a money raising opportunity that they did not like.

According to The Denver Post, Michael Baca, a Democratic elector, filed paperwork Tuesday with the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office to create the “Hamilton Electors,” a group able to fundraise unlimited donations from individuals, corporations and labor unions for political reasons.

The goal of the group is to convince Republican and Democratic Electoral College voters to unify behind a Republican alternative for President or force an Electoral College deadlock.

“I was opposed, actually, to raising money because I would prefer to just have this done organically,” Baca told The Denver Post. “But we’ve had people throwing money at us through our website”[…]

According to the Denver Post, the endgame of the faithless electors is to

“convince enough Republican electors to support a third-party candidate that it would either force an Electoral College deadlock, or elect a different candidate entirely.  If 37 Republican electors vote against Trump, it would prevent the Republican from winning the presidency and could put the question to the House of Representatives….”

And therein lies the rub, as in the case of Jill Stein colluding with Hillary Clinton calling for the hand recounts of votes, the endgame in both instances is to delegitimize and/or stop Trump from “officially” being declared the winner[…]

If you missed the 2016 Republican National Convention then thanks to the failure of the mainstream media you missed a speech by Colorado’s U. S. Senate candidate, Darryl Glenn.

Doing a disservice to Colorado voters and to Glenn who considers himself, an ‘Unapologetic Christian, Constitutional Conservative, Pro-Life, Second Amendment Loving Veteran.’

As reported by 9-News Network, not one of the major news networks or cable news outlets carried Glenn’s electrifying speech.

…Glenn is a compelling speaker in a closely watched Senate race. And he was speaking about race and violence in America.

His message deserved to be widely heard.

Those who did see the speech had a split verdict. The Washington Post said Glenn was one of its losers of the day, calling his speech ‘a series of hackneyed one-liners and blatant appeals for applause’[…]

Twitter -Dataminr have been providing U.S. intelligence agencies with data

[T]he chilly relationship between government bodies and private tech businesses is growing frostier by the day. In the latest development, it has emerged that Twitter requested one of its key B2B partners, Dataminr — a service that offers advanced social media analytics and early detection of major events like terrorist attacks or natural disasters — stop providing U.S. intelligence agencies with their tools and content.

But Dataminr isn’t ending its relationship with the government altogether: Dataminir still counts In-Q-Tel, the non-profit investment arm of the CIA, as an investor. Dataminr has taken investment from Twitter, too, highlighting some of the conflicts that remain as tech companies fight for more transparency and autonomy from government control. Interestingly, the agencies who are at the center of today’s news were using Dataminr in an unpaid pilot, TechCrunch understands. That pilot, which was coming to an end, could not be continued as a paid deal because of pre-existing Twitter policies that forbid selling data for use in government surveillance. The news of Dataminr cutting off intelligence groups was first reported by the WSJ, and we have confirmed the details directly with sources.

What exactly is Dataminr? The company uses Twitter firehose data — the unfiltered, full stream of Tweets from Twitter’s 300m+ users — along with other primary sources,

Legislation in Works to Make Buying Marijuana w/EBT Card Illegal in Colorado (Revised)

Republicans in Colorado proposed SB-37 this week, a bill meant to prevent food stamp recipients from using their EBT cards to purchase marijuana.

Says Colorado State Rep. Jared Wright (R) on the Dori Monson radio show:

‘We just want to make sure that the money is not being used for an addiction or for purchasing a drug that is, frankly, still illegal under federal law.

Rep. Wright acknowledges that he is unaware of anyone using their government benefits to purchase marijuana so far, but hopes to close the loophole before it becomes a problem….

For those who would jump the gun and say that this is just “an urban myth”, the measures proposed by Rep. Wright are preventative, which makes sense.  After all, people use their EBT cards in liquor stores, casinos, amusement parks and strip clubs.  Thus, it is perfectly logical.

While you may not qualify for Obamacare, your dog will.
