Several recent studies have revealed the increased number of public school and college students who are experiencing various forms of mental illness, such as depression, anxiety, attention deficit disorder, and others.  A Wall Street Journal report claims as many as 25 percent in elite colleges are thus classified, and require accommodations for exam taking, seating preference, quiet private rooms, and comfort animals. Steve Schlozman and Eliza Abdu-Glass, authors of The College Mental Health Crisis: Focus on Suicide, disclosed the thousands of suicides on college campuses each year, about two to three every day.  Their emphasis is on students’ inadequate counseling, but we should ask why this generation, specifically, is so unstable and why the obvious signs have been ignored.

Is it possible to identify what could be so threatening? 

Our educational system was restructured according to a radical, global, political ideology (Agenda 21) promoted by President Obama’s White House, Bill and Melinda Gates, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, the Governors Association, and other supporters of a federal takeover of education for a Global Economy.  Called the Common Core Standards, it was implemented by 46 states and D.C.  While we were deluged with Hillary Clinton’s oft-uttered phrase, “no child left behind,” David Coleman, the architect of the controversial, experimental (experimenting on our children!) curriculum, was executing an equal-outcome system, thereby eliminating the motivation and ambition of equal opportunity for individual excellence and achievement, each to his/her own interests and abilities.  And, since all schools – public, private, parochial, home schools – were subject to the same textbooks and tests, and the governors handsomely rewarded, the Standards were assumed almost nationwide.

Result: the students have become guinea pigs to a seemingly untested Standard – with a specific purpose[…]

One by one, colleges and universities across America are folding like cheap tents, slavishly bowing to the politically correct “diversity”, “safe zone”, “microaggression” movements which in reality are part and parcel of the ‘Fundamental Transformation of America’ as envisioned by the Barack Obama’s of the world. You are of course familiar with the hullaballoo going on recently at the University of Missouri and at Yale, where administrators and faculty members are either resigning under fire or going along to get along. We learn today that Indiana State University, in Terre Haute, Indiana has announced that henceforth all incoming freshmen will be required to attend mandatory diversity training classes.

“Three Indiana State University students ended a brief hunger strike on Wednesday after school officials said mandatory diversity training was being implemented for new students starting next fall.

That protest and a demonstration planned for Friday at Purdue University are among numerous campus actions around the country following the racially charged strife at the University of Missouri.”

We know from what limited reporting there is from the national media on the sources for and the forces behind all these protests that they are organized, to a great extent using social media, that their messages are uniform and scripted and designed to play on the “white privilege”, “straight privilege” and other memes. What we don’t pay attention to are the details of their demands, other than the headlines about a university president or a faculty member being hounded into resignation.

The part of “diversity training” that we need to pay attention to is the ‘training’ part. Note that Indiana State University announced that there would be ‘training’ and that it would be ‘mandatory’. Are we all clear on what ‘training’ is? Training is not an informational lecture. When you are ‘trained’ you are told how to behave. You are told how to either think or act or both….

Hillary Clinton Wants Colleges to Subsidize Campaign Labor

Hillary Clinton’s campaign has asked the Federal Election Commission if an intern working on her campaign could receive a $3,000 stipend and college credit from the university she attends for working on Clinton’s campaign “without either being designated as in-kind contributions to the campaign because the university ‘did not condition the availability of the stipend upon the political nature of the internship.’”

Clinton attorneys playing the privilege card are taking the stand that if the FEC rejects the request (as if an agency embedded with Marxist ideologues would) that such an action would hinder the less fortunate (my emphasis) from working on political campaigns in the future. Oh buddy, leave it to the Clintons.

HOLD ON A MINUTE! Say a student gets a loan through the government and finds themselves working for Clinton’s campaign, it is not the College who is paying that student, it is the TAXPAYER. Am I right?

So how does that work? Hillary who doesn’t pay her interns wants colleges/taxpayers to foot the bill.

Hillary Clinton recently tweeted that her campaign is accepting student interns. Perks include, “free coffee, great views, and the chance to make history.”

How about salaries? Nope.

That’s right—internships at the Clinton campaign are just like internships at the Clinton Foundation: unpaid , according to The Week.

On its own, there’s nothing scandalous about that. Plenty of internships—political internships, especially—are unpaid. Student labor just isn’t worth that much, and the main benefit to the kids themselves is the experience they accrue.….

In the meantime, Clinton wants to force businesses to pay fast food and unskilled workers $15.00 per hour, minimum wage. As such, that is the mindset of an elitist.

Imagine if a Republican candidate would have made the same request. Melissa Harris-Perry would be apoplectic.
