America’s Leftist elites use their power to stroke their egos and, like Pharaoh, are unconcerned when ordinary people suffer from their hypocrisy.

One of the (many) good things about the Trump era is that Victor Davis Hanson seems to be on a perpetual roll, swatting away both the #Resistance crowd and the #NeverTrump crowd. His latest offering points to the epic hypocrisy that characterizes Leftist elites who have control over our schools, our media, our entertainment empire, and our bureaucracy:

So perhaps what drives proverbially average Americans crazy is not the success and money of others, but the condescension and hypocrisy of what a particular elite says contrasted with how it lives: The disconnect recalls the Reverend Jimmy Swaggart, the televangelist who on Sunday mornings three decades ago used to break into tears as he loudly condemned the sins of the flesh, while he privately indulged his worldly appetites.

Hundreds of Democrats from 32 states are aligning against the centerpiece of President Obama’s climate change agenda, the Clean Power Plan, which they say will cause unnecessary economic harm from increased reliance on renewable energy.

“As Democrats committed to a prosperous America and a healthy environment, we believe the United States has a unique opportunity to lead the world in addressing the global climate challenge, and yet do so, as we must, without unduly burdening the American economy or the American people,” the Democratic coalition called CoalBlue said in a letter sent Tuesday to Obama….

Barack Obama actually said at a presser Sunday that by attending the Climate Conference he is showing ISIS I’m ‘Not Afraid’ and Amb Wendy Sherman, putting a smiley face on Obama’s ‘no strategy’ plan against ISIS, said President Obama Has Been About “Resolve Not Fear” Against ISIS.

Barack Obama said he would go ahead with a visit to Paris for the pivotal UN summit on climate change despite the recent attacks in the French capital, urging other leaders to do the same to show “we are not afraid” of extremists.

“I think it’s absolutely vital for every country, every leader, to send a signal that the viciousness of a handful of killers does not stop the world from doing vital business,” Obama said following an Asia-Pacific summit in Malaysia[…]

The people of French are probably saying to themselves, ” Si vous venez seulement ici pour parler des changements climatiques, garder en camionnage.” [Translated: “if you’re only coming here to talk climate change, keep on trucking.”]

On November 13th, 1998, (Friday the thirteenth) a special edition of “The Wizard of Oz was presented on the big screen. Oz is a land where macho does not exist; Pipsqueak-voiced Munchkins, a Wizard who turns out to be a fake weenie, a Cowardly dandy-Lion, a weepy Tin Man, and a gayly dancing Scarecrow with disintegrating fists, make-up the wimpy, casper-milk-toast characters. Luckily, in every good story there is always a villain, a masculine force to be reckoned with and the Wicked Witch of the West plays the ideal feminist who can take the lead.

Eerily, the Obama administration seems to be following a progressive, delusional Oz-like script, where ‘Emerald’ D.C. is headquarters to a somewhere over the rainbow-lit White House with a fake weenie wizard president whose name is Barack Oz-bama. The wishy- washy Oz-bama crew even has its own masculine force to be reckoned with, Miss Valerie Jarrett Gulch, who clearly wears the pants in the feckless cast of sissy characters.

Coincidentally,on November 13th, 2015 ( Friday the thirteenth) in an interview on Good Morning America, Oz-bama declared on the big screen that ISIS “has been contained.” “I don’t think they’re gaining strength,” Obama said of ISIS.

“What is true, from the start our goal has been first to contain and we have contained them.” (I am not a scientist, but how can you contain ISIS in a border-less world?)

That same morning in Paris, Al Gore, Chairman of the Climate Reality Project, was present at the Eiffel Tower in France to host a global broadcast of “The World is Watching” a live 24-hour program to discuss climate change, a topic that Barack Oz-bama feels is the number one global threat, a narrative that suits both Al and Barack in their pursuit of an elite controlled NWO…..
