Earlier today, Chicago’s Commie Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced the firingresignation termination of the city’s Police Supt. Garry McCarthy.
The firing comes as no surprise since the City has been in full crisis mode because of protests that erupted after the release of the dashboard video documenting the shooting death Laquan McDonald.
Throw in Chicago’s botched handling of the execution a few weeks back that outraged the nation of nine year old, Tyshawn Lee who was playing on a swing when targeted and lured to his death by three members of the Black P Stones gang and someone had to take the fall.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, McCarthy met with Emanuel last evening. The meeting ended with the police chief still having a job but some time during the night Emanuel contacted McCarthy to inform him that he was officially terminated [my emphasis].
This morning at a news conference with the “shell-shocked” former police chief, at his side, Emanuel announced a new five member task force on police accountability and the termination of McCarthy of which came after calls by Black leaders demanding that heads to roll, i.e., that of the former police chief.
… Saying “now is a time for fresh eyes and new leadership,” Mayor Emanuel told the city at a press conference that he is setting up a commission consisting of community leaders and experts to address the problems in the police department and to help him choose a new superintendent….
Emanuel noted that McCaarthy has a strong record that he should “be proud of,” and that he helped modernize the Chicago Police Department (CPD). But Emanuel went on to say that the escalating unrest in the community over the shooting of the teen has showed him that changes have to be made….
Former Massachusetts governor, Deval Patrick was appointed senior advisor of the task force.
Patrick will be “charged with recommending reforms aimed at improving ‘independent oversight of police misconduct.’” (Take the white guy out, put a black guy into play and everybody’s happy. Lipstick on a pig.)
Chicago gangbanger charged in murder of 9-year-old Tyshawn Lee – Cops Seek Two More: ‘That gang just signed its death warrant’
Police this week arrested a gang banger in the murder of 9-year-old Tyshawn Lee a few weeks ago. Corey Morgan, age 27 whom the police suspected from the beginning was first arrested for possession of a 40 caliber semi-automatic handgun.
Morgan was later charged with the execution of Tyshawn Lee who was lured into an alley and shot multiple times in retribution to the murder of Morgan’s brother three weeks earlier. NYDN
Chicago cops arrested a hard-hearted gang member in the murder of 9-year-old boy, finally charging a man they questioned immediately after the shooting, as police eye two more suspects….
Corey Morgan, 27, was charged with first-degree murder Friday while cohort Kevin Edwards, 22, remained on the lam, officials said at a morning press conference. A third unnamed suspect was in police custody on unrelated gun charges as investigators build their case against him. All three belonged to the same gang….
A white police officer was charged with First Degree Murder for the shooting death of 17-year old Laquan McDonald who was black but it took a year for the charges to be made.
The dashcam video was released today and it appears that the boy did nothing to deserve the 16 rounds that were fired into him. He was walking away with a knife in his hand, not menacing anyone and there appears to be no reason for the police officer to have shot him, much less 16 times.
The dashboard camera shows two police officers jumping out of their car and drawing their weapons while advancing toward McDonald. Within seconds he is struck by bullets and crumples to the ground, his body jerking as he is hit by additional rounds of gunfire.
Prosecutors said he was shot 16 times by Van Dyke, who emptied his gun and was preparing to reload his weapon. Van Dyke has said through his lawyer and the police union that the shooting was justified because he felt threatened by McDonald.
ABC 7 reported that at least 18 citizen complaints have been filed against Van Dyke in his 14-year career, but he was never disciplined, according to a University of Chicago database. Eight complaints alleged excessive force, two involving the use of a firearm in addition to the McDonald shooting.
The officer was employed until the day the video was released.

The mother of a murdered 9-year-old Chicago boy is fighting back against accusations that she used online donations meant for her son’s burial to purchase a new car.
Karla Lee, 26, admitted using the money donated through GoFundMe to buy the car, but said her son would have wanted her to be safe and a car helps, Fox32 reported Saturday.
“Am I afraid for my life? 100 percent I’m afraid for my life,” she told the station.
Following public outrage, Lee said she used her own money that she had saved for months to make the purchase, according to the station….
If there is a target on this woman’s back, purchasing a vehicle will not save her. Gangbangers shoot people in their vehicles.

What are the odds now that this has become a scandal of this woman’s own making of government officials looking into her GoFundMe campaign?
After all, she claims that she had the money to bury her son since “last Tuesday,” i.e., November 3rd, one day after she launched the GoFundMe campaign only to purchase a vehicle three, four days later. So why again did Tyshawn’s mother start a GoFundMe page?

Pierre Stokes, Tyshawn’s father started another GoFundMe page supposedly seeking donations for funeral expenses but the page was immediately taken down.
In addition, Stokes sold t-shirts for $45 covered with photographs of his son.

President Obama’s old revolutionary pal, Bill Ayers, was front and center in the middle of a protest staged outside the Chicago Board of Trade/CME Group blocking entrances to the building and demanding a transaction tax on trades made through the exchange.
