Media Research is calling out the Marxist cowards at the New York Times who earlier this year refused to post a Charlie Hebdo Muhammad cartoon once again posting a painting of “The Holy Virgin Mary” that went on display at the Brooklyn museum back in 1990 causing such a controversy.

The New York Times’ hypocrisy regarding displays of “offensive” religious imagery runs unabated, as shown in a Scott Reyburn article in Friday’s Arts section on the sale of Chris Ofili’s controversial painting “The Holy Virgin Mary,” which shows the Virgin Mary clotted with elephant dung against a porn-collage background — and accompanied by a photograph of the offensive work.

It should be noted that in a 1999 op-ed, the New York Times accused then mayor of New York City, Rudolp Giuliani of violating the first amendment rights of the Brooklyn Museum when the former mayor successfully lobbied the U. S. Senate to defund the Brooklyn Museum and threatened to shut the museum down. Giuliani found the piece repugnant and anti-Catholic.

Judge Nina Gershon of United States District Court in Brooklyn ordered the mayor to restore the city’s monthly payments to the museum and end his campaign to evict it and remove its board of trustees over an exhibition that includes a painting of the Virgin Mary on a canvas adorned with elephant dung.

‘There is no federal constitutional issue more grave,’ the judge wrote in her 38-page decision, ‘than the effort by government officials to censor works of expression and to threaten the vitality of a major cultural institution as punishment for failing to abide by governmental demands for orthodoxy….’

Former activist, Zineb El Rhazojui, columnist for Charlie Hebdo magazine is accusing Hebdo’s management of hypocrisy after being suspended over threats from Islamic extremists because of her articles critical of jihadists.

Zineb El Rhazoui, 33, was called to a preliminary dismissal hearing to remind her of her ‘obligations’ towards the French weekly following ‘numerous incidents’.

The French-Moroccan columnist accused her employers of trying to ‘punish her’ for speaking out about the direction of the magazine four months after the jihadist attack which left 12 dead.

‘I am shocked and appalled that a management that has received so much support after the January attacks could show so little support for one of its employees, who is under pressure like everyone in the team and has faced threats,’ she told Le Monde….

Apparently Charlie Hebdo’s management pressuring their staff to lighten up on Muhammad has decided to succumb to Muslim extremists after a terrorist attack earlier this year in which a dozen people were slaughtered by Islamic jihadists, several of whom were employees for the magazine.

El Rhazoui’s husband, also under threat by jihadists, lost his job and was forced to leave Morocco after jihadists posted his photograph, workplace. and its location.

Without prejudging the basis of the received mail, Ms. El Rhazoui explains that she could not work normally since the attacks that decimated writing in January. “I’m not the only one. One can not blame people to go wrong and not being good workers, we live in chaotic conditions. It is impossible to make reports under police protection …, “she explains….

In other words, El Rhazoui was suspended for her critique on Islam.

The following video was published to YouTube on Mar 4, 2015 by the University of Chicago in which Zineb El Rhazoui attended a forum to discuss the context surrounding the Charlie Hebdo attack, the French culture of satire and secularism, and freedom of expression in contemporary society.

As the events around the last week Charlie Hebdo terrorist attack continues to take all kinds of twists and turns, we now learn of a media blackout on the alleged suicide of Police Commissioner Helric Fredou, Number Two Police Officer of the Regional Service of France’s Judicial Police (JP), Limoges, (Haute-Vienne).

Fredou is alleged to have committed suicide by putting a gun to his head at 1 a.m. the morning on Charlie Hebdo terrorist attack.

Commissioner Helric Fredou was part of the police investigation into the Charlie Hebdo terror attack.

Terror suspects Cherif and Said Kouachi who were shot dead by police on January 9, spent their high-school years in the Limoges region. No doubt this was the object of Fredou’s police investigation. Yet police and media reports state that on that same Wednesday he was involved in a meeting with the family of one of the Charlie Hebdo victims.

On Wednesday, as part of the Charlie Hebdo investigation, he dispatched a team of police officials under his jurisdiction. He is reported to have waited for the return of his team for a debriefing. Immediately following the police debriefing, he was involved in preparing his police report….

At the time of his death, police claim to have not known the reason for his alleged suicide. This was reflected in their official statements to the media: “It is unknown at this time the reasons for his actions”. However, a back story appears to have been inserted simultaneously, most likely from the very same police media liaisons, who then told the press that Fredou was ‘depressed and overworked’. For any law enforcement officer in France, it would seem rather odd that anyone would want to miss the biggest single terror event in the century, or history in the making, as it were.

Tapper left no one out when he called out top leadership of both parties as well as prospective 2016 presidential candidates. “And this is not just a matter of the current occupant of the White House…” Tapper is right. (Jane Hartley, U.S. Ambassador for France attended the march. Hartley procured the position as payback after raising a half million dollars for Barack Obama’s campaign.)

Fox News, Ed Henry, did not give Josh Earnest a chance to squirm out of Obama’s MIA episode.

 

 

Well Josh, you dolt, find out exactly what Barack Obama was doing Sunday that he couldn’t tear a half day away from his empty schedule to attend the anti-Islamic terrorism march.

Better yet, why couldn’t Obama stroll over or have the secret service drive him to the DC Silent March?

Clearly, there is a reason that Obama hates Fox News.

Leaders from nations across the world participated….well most anyway. Even if the attendance of one or two were questionable, it is the lack of American representation that has heads spinning.

Barack Obama non-leader snubbed the anti-Islamic terrorism protest by going underground.

Also absent but apparently on queue were, Marxist minions, Joe Biden, John Kerry and Obama’s sidekick, Valerie Jarrett (yep, I went there but do I take her attendance at such an event serious? Not!). Not to worry, wacko bird, Victoria “F*** the EU” Nuland attended the Washington, DC rally that although a few blocks from the White House, Obama snubbed as well.

Yet there was British Prime Minister David Cameron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Jordan’s King Abdullah and so many others — most extraordinarily including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas….

Still worse, Obama’s abdication of leadership reflects a larger presidential failure to convey the gravity of the Charlie Hebdo attack, even if the substance of his anti-terror policy remains strong….

Of course, Eric Holder was in France earlier to convene an anti-terrorism summit that has nothing to do with the protest.

Jane Hartley, U.S. Ambassador for France who was appointed to the position after raising a half million dollars for Obama’s campaign was in attendance but that of course accounts for nothing.

Obama, community organizer, is a creature of habit. His snub while it speaks volumes and is not representative of the American people should surprise no one.

Always about his base and ideology, rather than meet his obligations to the nation, the world, Obama as his record stands once again stood with the barbarian.

Obama’s intentional snub of the #JeSuisCharlie march in both Paris and Washington, DC is indefensible and after seven years of defending Obama for such acts, Obama supporters should be fatigued and humiliated.

Finally, some called this weekend’s marches a “free speech” rally while others a “unity” rally. None called it what it is, a rally against Islamic terrorism. Until the day that the world can call these barbaric acts by its name, everything before that is fruitless.

Dana Loesch has been on fire this week especially on the subject of the Islamic terrorist attack on Charlie Hebdo Wednesday in Paris, France.

One example is Wednesday monologue (video below) taking to task the mainstream media on their collective double standards, hypocrisy and political correctness to appease Islamic barbarians hell bent on forcing the infidel into submission to Shariah Law or die.

A monologue worthy of revisiting, Dana nails it mincing no words about the complacency and cowardice of the Progressive mainstream media and its ill-founded rationalization of the horrors committed by Islamic terrorists.

They are the same ideologues who wear their scorn and contempt of Christianity, Judaism, family values, liberty and opinions incompatible with Progressive ideology as a badge of honor.

Finally, the media outlets are standing if only for a moment against the barbarians of Islam. Sadly, enough, such action only occurs after the media (one of their own) have come under attack. Their tweets of front pages and cartoons speak volumes. MAY THEY NEVER FORGET! H/t Buzzfeed.

Of course, these being the morning after, much of the American media (and others) have gone into full censorship mode opting out of posting the cartoons, FREAKING COWARDS. See bottom of post.
