Pointing to his statement posted on to his Facebook page, Dr. Benjamin Carson this morning endorsed 2016 Republican Party candidate, Donald Trump for president. [See statement at bottom of post.]

Former neurosurgeon Ben Carson, who dropped his presidential bid a week ago, stood on a Palm Beach, Florida, stage Friday morning and suggested voters cast ballots for his one-time competitor, Donald Trump.

Appearing just shortly after 9 a.m., Trump spoke first, saying: “Dr. Ben Carson was respected by everybody. Everybody wanted his endorsement….”

And then Carson spoke.

“This whole process getting involved in the political process is something I never intended to do. But I listened to the people,” he said. “It’s not about the Republican Party or the Democratic Party. It’s about the people of America. … What I have been seeing … is political operatives or political parties trying to exert themselves and [wipe out] the voice of the people….”

It was during his appearance at Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC 2016) that Dr. Benjamin Carson announced the suspension of his 2016 presidential bid.

While Carson announced, “I am leaving the campaign trail,” the neurosurgeon assured us that he would remain heavily involved “in saving our nation.” Carson’s speech was followed up by a Q&A session with Fox News contributor, Mercedes Schlapp.

Carson announced “that he is taking up the role of chairman of ‘My Faith Votes,’ a nonpartisan organization to ‘inspire and motivate; Christians to vote.”

It appears that there might be some truth to the rumor** spread Monday night during the Iowa Caucuses that Ben Carson was suspending his campaign.

According to this morning’s article in the Washington Post, Carson whose funds are drying up will do a major overhaul of his campaign by cutting salaries and laying off approximately 50 staffers today.

…Carson’s traveling entourage will shrink to only a handful of advisers. And instead of flying on private jets, Carson may soon return.

The employees being released — about half of Carson’s campaign — mostly work in field operations and at his headquarters in Northern Virginia….

Senior staff and key aides to the Carson campaign will remain in place as Carson hopes to sustain his campaign until the RNC Convention this July in Cleveland, Ohio.

…Longtime Carson confidant Armstrong Williams said the drastic shake-up has been under consideration for weeks but was postponed until after Monday’s Iowa caucuses, where Carson finished in fourth place with 9.3 percent of the vote.

“Dr. Carson is going to get his campaign lean — really lean,” Williams said in an interview. “One issue for a while has been too much infrastructure and he has decided to fully address it so that he can sustain his campaign until the convention”[…]

Let’s keep it real here. Regardless of where one stands with Dr. Benjamin Carson in the 2016 Republican Party presidential primaries, Carson hasn’t been doing well in the polls, etc. has appeared war weary for a long while now as if he is just biding his time.

Dirty establishment politics and collusion by the mainstream media and GOP pundits at work here? Killing three birds with one stone, i.e., Benjamin Carson, Ted Cruz and Donald Trump (who will not shut up long enough to get the facts) while positioning the establishment’s boy, Marco Rubio into play? Paris may in fact have been a clarifying moment for many—try to imagine each of the 2016 candidates as President of the US if a similar horror happens here. Who would you wish to be in the Oval Office?

The media is going wild with Donald Trump’s stump speech in Iowa yesterday. They claim he called Dr. Carson a child molester. He didn’t and the overreach by the media makes them look stupid.

Donald Trump created the illusion that he was saying Ben Carson was in the category of “pathological” perverts that molesters are in and it’s incurable. He also asked how stupid Iowa voters could be.

Dr. Carson said today that Donald Trump did not call him a child molester. Carson also said Trump doesn’t understand pathology as he used it and that it can be cured.

Watch and decide what Trump said for yourself.

No, Ben Carson Didn’t Lie About West Point. It’s Another Media Hit Job.

It is now the Progressive Republican establishment’s elimination season. They did it four years ago with Herman Cain, Michele Bachmann and so on.

Enter the 2015 elimination season, the tactics are the same and since they failed to eliminate Donald Trump from the 2016 primaries, with time being of the essence, the Progressive establishment in both parties in collusion with the mainstream media have moved set their sights on Benjamin Carson.

The story began with Politico, which ran with the audacious headline, “Ben Carson admits fabricating West Point scholarship.” Even I was taken in by the headline – after all, that’s a pretty bold claim!

Politico began thusly:

‘Ben Carson’s campaign on Friday admitted, in a response to an inquiry from POLITICO, that a central point in his inspirational personal story was fabricated: his application and acceptance into the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

The key word here is “fabricated.” Did the Carson campaign admit any such thing? Absolutely not….

Re-writing sections of their article, the scumbags at Politico walked back the lies.

Politico has rewritten the headline, lede, and several portions of the text of an article accusing Ben Carson of “fabricating” part of his personal biography involving the Military Academy at West Point.

The story, bearing the byline of reporter Kyle Cheney, now omits the original version’s declarations that Carson’s statements were false or fraudulent, as seen in an archive of the article.

The original headline reads: “Ben Carson admits fabricating West Point scholarship.”

Although false, the smear campaign against Dr. Carson is nasty, a lie and will only get worse. After all, that is who these people are. The Progressive establishment on both the left and the right are so vile and disgusting that they have no qualms about destroying the credibility and life of an American hero.

Nevertheless, the American hero, Benjamin Carson, took on the mainstream media and stood his ground.
