You may recall the story of Shachar Rabinovitch, a 13-year-old girl living in Israel. She recently wrote to British academic Marsha Levine, who is reportedly an expert on horses that she was doing a school project and sent her a polite letter asking her for some information about the domestication and breeding of early horse species:

Hello!

My name is Shachar Rabinovitch and I’m from Israel.

I’m doing an assessment for school about horses, and it will be great if you can answer a few questions that I will ask.

1. What ancient horses breeds preserved and were a base to the breeds we know today?

2. How did the ancient humans created new breeds or kept the ones who already were existent?

3. What ancient horse breed the ancient humans used the most and what were those uses?

4. Where did the ancient horses breeds lived?

Levine, who is Jewish (at least genetically) and who still claims to be a researcher at Cambridge University although apparently she no longer is, replied :

Despite its name, Jewish Voice for Peace is neither Jewish nor Peaceful. It’s a radical anti-Israel and anti-Jewish hate group, some of whose members may be Jewish, but whose agenda is focused on destroying the Jewish State. It promotes BDS, protests and disrupts Jewish events and generally acts like the hate group that it is.

‘In October 2015, referred to a series of terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and security forces as “Palestinian popular resistance,” and posted a statement on its Facebook page that praises “a new generation of Palestinians…rising up en-masse against Israel’s brutal, decades-old regime of occupation, settler colonialism and apartheid.”

In 2008 JVP helped the Carter Center gather signatures to support former President Jimmy Carter’s controversial meeting with Hamas leader Khaled Mash’al.

So JVP is bad. Really, really bad.

But the media fell for its latest nasty gimmick which involved holding protests against “Islamophobia” around Chanukah menorahs that were publicly lit and displayed by the Chabad religious Jewish group….

Resolution passes by massive majority, calls for embargo on Israeli academic institutions, but not individuals.

The American Anthropological Association (AAA) on Friday voted overwhelmingly in favor of a boycott of Israeli academic institutions. The embargo will apply to all institutions, but not individuals.

The resolution calling for the boycott passed by an overwhelming 1040 in favor and just 136 against, at a meeting of the 10,000-strong organization in Denver on Friday night.

US Jewish newspaper the Forward said the resolution was sponsored by academics from Columbia University and Tufts, as well as other US educational institutes, and will bar the AAA from “formal collaborations or other relationships with Israeli academic institutions….”
