Grumpy Daily Headlines, News and Opinion – 08/14/2018

I apologize for my lack of content this summer.  In addition to getting soaked to the gills in the rain on at least four occasions, I’ve been on grandparent duty for the past two months during which we’ve taken day trips, hit the beach, parks, etc. .

Not a problem though, in spite of the fact that New York City has been swampy and wetter than usual this summer.  Getting caught in the rain so often, took me back to my summers as a child when I would race home in the rain.  Besides, I always loved walking in the summer rain and discovered that my grandson enjoys it as well.

In any event, once “J” is back in school next week, I’ll have  more free time.  Thank you for your patience.
