According to the toxicology results of Terence Crutcher, the Black man shot and killed in Tulsa, Oklahoma last month, by Officer Betty Jo Shelby, Crutcher was under the influence of PCP at the time of his death.

Crutcher, who was shot once in the upper right chest, according to the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office had “acute phencyclidine intoxication” 96 nanograms per milliliter of phencyclidine (PCP) in his bloodstream.

PCP aka angel dust, a vial of which was found in Crutcher’s vehicle is a hallucinogenic “sought for its ability to induce the illusion of euphoria, omnipotence, superhuman strength, and social and sexual prowess.”

According to the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), 5 to 10 mg of PCP orally is enough to induce “acute schizophrenia, including agitation, psychosis, audiovisual hallucinations, paranoid delusions, and catatonia.”

Psychosis, bizarre (violent) behavior and blank staring are a few of the symptoms exhibited by an individual under the influence of PCP.   Other symptoms are slurred speech,  “horizontal, vertical, or rotatory nystagmus, ataxia, hyperthermia, and seizures.”

Larger doses can result in coma.  The amount of PCP in Crutcher’s’ system was much higher.

Officer Shelby was charged with first-degree manslaughter within days of the shooting long before the toxicology screening or police investigation was completed.   She has plead not guilty and as for the investigation, it is expected to be completed by this week’s end.

According to Shelby’s attorney, Crutcher did not respond to the officer’s commands and the officer who is a drug recognition expert, based on Crutcher’s lack of response and bizarre behavior suspected that he was under the influence of PCP or something.

When she arrived at the scene, Crutcher walked toward her. She asked if the SUV was his vehicle, but he did not respond.

Crutcher then began to put his hand into his left pocket, Wood said, adding that Shelby told Crutcher, “Hey, please keep your hands out of your pocket while you’re talking to me. Let’s deal with his car.”

Crutcher did not respond, Wood said, so Shelby ordered him again to get his hand out of his pocket. He then pulled his hand away and put his hands up in the air, even though he was not instructed to do so, which Shelby found strange, Wood said.

Shelby tried to get Crutcher to talk to her, but he simply mumbled something unintelligible and stared at her….

Below is the footage of the shooting as provided by law enforcement.

I ran across the following video on YouTube published by Oshay Duke Jackson in which Mr. Jackson after viewing the above footage concludes that the shooting of Crutcher is not racially motivated, debunks the propaganda espoused by race baiters pushing a false narrative and the similarities of actions or lack thereof seconds prior to police shootings from Michael Brown to Terence Crutcher.

In the meantime, the usual suspects are not thrilled about Crutcher’s toxicology results being made public.
