Donald Trump supporters walked out of a delegate election in Georgia Saturday to protest a vote that robbed Trump of all of his slated delegates from a district that he won in the primary.
A Cruz-Rubio alliance at the district convention in Buford, Georgia helped to knock Trump supporters out of the district’s national delegation altogether. Cruz supporters implied that Trump’s people would “embarrass” the district at the convention in Cleveland. Then things got heated.
“This morning, I attended Georgia 7th Congressional District GOP convention as a delegate and a Donald Trump supporter. We were there to elect the 3 delegates and 3 alternates to the national convention,” Ronnie Kurtz told Breitbart News. “Per the primary results, two slots were for Trump, and one was for Rubio.

The Gwinnett Cruz Campaign clearly doesn’t care what the voters decided in the Georgia Republican Primary. They believe Republicans at the GOP District Conventions should be able to overrule voters by mob rule. BTW, The 7th District Republican Party Leadership supported a Trump supporter as a delegate. They were overruled by angry Cruz Campaign supporters.

I was and am so upset…thank you for saying what I was “couldn’t find the words.” I have NEVER seen this type of Viciousness in any campaign; and yet, Cruz does have a backing.
I was on a “Pro Trump” site (Tea Party Command), the Cruz people “Hi-Jacked” the site. It took me a while to figure out what was going on. These people on the site were utilizing”Rules for Radicals” (Saul Alinsky).
I “un-subscribed” to the site. In a few minutes, I received an email: “You are reistated.” My response? “Hell No!
A friend of mine spoke with the CEO of Tea Party Command. They had no idea the site had been hi-jacked.

I agree on everything you said. Made the error of visiting TheBlaze today and the only people now frequenting that website and leaving comments are Cruz supporters.
The website stinks to high heaven. The writers are twisted as are those who comment there.
Quite a few sites have been hijacked by Cruz supporters. I was thinking about dispatching a clarion call for writers needed for my other website but decided against it for the very same reason that you mention here.

Elaine – now is the time to unite grassroots conservatives against the Washington establishment, to commit to transparency, representation and participation, and demand fairness in our party’s processes to maintain a proper balance between the power of our political party and its processes and the will of a non-disenfranchised people in our constitutional republic.
First, if we are to work well with our allies and form a winning coalition, we must extend a helping hand with those who have also been fighting for our shared values. The time is approaching when we may very well take the mantle and lead the charge, but we must do so with humility, and with the guidance of experienced mentors and allies.
Please reach out to your fellow conservative activists and get involved locally – attend meetings, events and trainings – work with experienced neighbors and help recruit new friends (there may be runoff elections in your area to help hone your campaign skills).

Agreed Artie. The most he can hope for now is that the GOPe whom he’s in bed with does not at the convention this summer move in to rid DC of this scourge once and for all.
