In April when Hillary Clinton launched her 2016 campaign for presidency, Brooklynites and a building located in Brooklyn Heights, 1 Pierrepont Plaza dubbed “Brooklyn Cool” in a community of elitists that is barely a blip on the borough’s map and dubbed by yours truly as “land of the Communists” were used as props.

Heralded by a fawning media as “hip”, immediately after the launching of her campaign, Clinton rode out of Brooklyn in her “Scooby Van” and has not returned to what was formerly known as the borough of churches since. (Thanks to former NYC mayor, Michael Bloomberg and Commie Bill, churches have been and continue to be converted to condos.)

Prior to kicking fellow Commies to the curb, Clinton last summer signed a two year lease for office space in the newly renovated Tower 45 building located at West 45th Street in the heart of Times Square. The lease for the Brooklyn location was signed late February, March after Huma Abedin checked out the location and the neighborhood.

Approximately, thirty-five of Clinton’s minions are working out of Brooklyn, while Clinton and major staffers utilize the space in Times Square.


The building has an outdoor plaza and lobby featuring ‘magnificent large-scale hanging lit sculptures,’ according to the developer, SL Green. At the time she signed the lease, a spokesman said Clinton was setting up a personal office.

That space is now occupied by Clinton’s campaign; 10 to 15 campaign staffers and interns work there regularly, and meetings take place there. Senior staffers also use the office out of convenience, if they need a place to work in Manhattan between appointments around town….
