Early Saturday morning as protests in Ferguson continued from Friday night, criminal elements roaming the streets of Ferguson St. Louis, Missouri began looting businesses at the Ferguson Market.

As reports of violence began to flood in, at least three police agencies eventually arrived on scene to quell the chaos as they clashed with protesters.

Thugs looted beauty supply stores, electronic businesses and liquor stores. (It is going to be a looooong weekend in Ferguson.)

In addition to one shooting, an officer was also injured by rioters .

To their credit, St. Louis Alderman, Antonio French, and peaceful protesters attempted to calm things down as groups blocked entrances of business to keep looters from entering.

Thugs even looted the store that Michael Brown strong armed the store clerk in and stole $50 worth of cigars. Will the clerk walk now walk back his story?

Business owners report that there was little or no police presence, which meant business owners had to fend for self. Some business owners stood in front of their stores with firearms in sight to deter looting.

Reports came in that police cruisers drove by businesses as they were being looted without stopping. Other complaints.

Calls made to 911 went unanswered.

One of the owners, with a large black gun resting on his shoulder, told the station that police were lined up blocks from the looting, and did not engage looters making off with large boxes from these stores.   “There’s no police,” he said. “We trusted the police to keep it peaceful; they didn’t do their job.”   Former St. Louis County Police Chief Tim Fitch tweeted: “You did not see “police restraint” overnight. You saw police reluctant to act. We cannot keep stoning the keepers at the gate.”

Believe it or not, no arrests were made. In the following video, Capt/ Ron Johnson answers questions.

Looters blamed the video….the video. Hmmm, where have I heard that before?

Not everyone in Ferguson is drinking the kool-aid. One resident of Ferguson had this to say (h/t the Gateway Pundit):

Reason.com interviewed residents of Ferguson Friday after countless press conferences, the release of the incident report and convenience store footage of Michael Brown strong arming the store clerk by St. Louis Police.

Reason TV talked with protesters in front of a burned-out QuikTrip that looters destroyed earlier this week. Most saw little reason that the new information should dampen their outrage towards the police, and some even justified the destruction of private property as necessary and effective in garnering attention for their cause.

Back to early this morning:

Ah yes, the ghetto fabulous would not be denied.

To give you an idea of how fast things were moving last night in Ferguson and how determined people were to keep the peace, Alderman, Antonia French (@AntonioFrench ) posted on Twitter the following a few hours ago:

Some idiot was on a quest for martyrdom.

The residents of Ferguson are going to have to take a stand against outsiders, instigators and thugs. You have no choice, Ferguson. The mindset of a thug does not register one iota of guilt because good people come out during the day to clean up that which they destroyed the night before.

Am I the only one who saw a Friday night protest as a recipe for trouble especially when you have outside agitators messing with people’s heads, pushing an agenda of their own, and telling outsiders on social media to converge upon the town of Ferguson? Really, am I?

I repeat, all that kumbayah crap Thursday and Friday was nothing more than an illusion and opening for negative elements to take advantage.

In addition, why are people protesting all night in the first place? Was there some other purpose for their being on the street that time of the night? Can it be that the town of Ferguson was expecting trouble?

In a similar situation, NYPD would have shut the City down hours ago and not gave damn about what the media or anyone else had to say about it…before Bill de Blasio, anyway.

Speaking of the police state, by Thursday morning the whole country was outraged over the aggressive tactics of the police state. This afternoon their questioning why the police state stood down when the looting and violence started.

You cannot have it both ways Ferguson. Just ask Chicago and New York City (stop and frisk).
