A former Iraqi war veteran, was attacked Saturday near the White House during an anti-Israel protest in which it is reported anywhere from 10,000 to 30,000 supporters of Hamas were in attendance.

Countering the pro-Hamas protest were pro-Israel protesters whom DC police surrounded with barricades for their protection.  However, alone on the far side of the pro-Hamas protest with the American flag on one side and the Israeli flag on the other stood Manny E. Vega a former U. S. Marine and Iraq veteran, whom I follow on Facebook.

Manny Vega attacked at pro-Hamas protest

It was his support of both nations on display by Vega who is not afraid to make his voice heard that riled pro-Hamas supporters.

The crowd which was primarily Muslim began shouting at Vega, flipping him the bird while attempting to burn Vega’s Israeli flag.

As reported on Vega’s Facebook Page and proven in the following video, the former Marine who stood his ground was kicked, punched and spat on by a crowd of Muslims who surrounded him shouting Allah u Akbar as they edged closer. It was only at that moment that sirens could be heard in the background as an officer shows up on his motorcycle.

Kudos to DC Resident for capturing the assault and posting it o YouTube.

It is a damned shame that in Barack Obama’s America, Vega who serving his country did not have to take this B.S. in Iraq only to come home and be attacked by Muslims, future terrorists of Islam, near the White House. Wth??????????

During last year’s Obama/ Jarrett manufactured government shutdown, Manny whom he is known by on Facebook was there for our veterans every step of the way just as he is now demanding the release of Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi just as he was out there in front of the White House Saturday in support of the state of Israel.

Prior to the attack, Manny was interviewed by Breitbart:

… ‘What brought me out here is this sort of anti-Israel atmosphere that this administration is holding over the United States,’ Vega told Breitbart News. ‘I want to show the Israeli people there are American people in our nation that support the state of Israel… And that is why am standing here with an American flag on my right hand, and Israeli flag on my left hand, in a show of solidarity with the Israeli people….’

Vega argued with one pro-Palestine protestor, who said that the State of Israel had no right to exist and would not shake Vega’s hand….

All of the above occurred near the White House, if not in front of the White House and D.C. police did nothing when one year ago, they assaulted American citizens, many of whom were veterans peacefully protesting during last year’s Obama/ Jarrett’s manufactured government shutdown.

Please share and stop by Manny’s Facebook page to lend him your support.
