Shortly after Dykes on Bikes rumble across the starting line of the Capital Pride parade in Dupont Circle on Saturday, an expected 150,000 spectators should witness something never before seen on an American city street — a U.S. Armed Forces color guard marching alongside rainbow flags in a gay pride parade.

The Department of Defense has authorized what military gay rights groups and organizers of the Capital Pride parade say is a first nationwide — a color guard that will present the red, white and blue as well as flags of each branch of the military.

The eight-member team is scheduled to help lead off the 11 / 2-mile parade, immediately preceding the Capital Pride lead banner and grand marshal Chris Kluwe, a former National Football League punter and the author of the book ‘Beautifully Unique Sparkleponies….’

A U.S. military color guard marching alongside rainbow flags???? Really??? Barack Obama’s priorities are so &(#@!_^ up.

“The Department of Defense has authorized” Authorized, my foot. It’s not like the U.S. Armed Forces color guard has a choice as to whether or not they want to march alongside a bunch of….oh, how shall I put it….gay, intolerant, anti-U. S. Military hating Marxists.

Calling a spade a spade, this is Barack Obama denigrating the men and women who serve in the United States Military and while some in the military may not mind marching in the gay parade, they should be not placed under order to do so.

This is about Barack Obama shoving his ideology down the throats of America, our military and then rubbing our noses in it as the world takes notice.

Supposedly, invitations were extended to the color guard in the past but they were booked on the day of the events, which I guess is why DoD got involved? Is that one of the talking points?

… An approval letter sent to pride parade organizers last month listed one caveat to the team’s expected participation Saturday: ‘Please note this appearance is subject to preemption by the White House or other official military requirements….’

It is reprehensible but so like Barack Obama to use the men and women who serve our country as pawns to please his base. Hasn’t he done enough harm already to the moral of our troops?

Apparently, the United States is not weak enough for Obama.
