Reuters reporter Mark Felsenthal reports that Sgt. Bergdahl’s hometown in Idaho is cancelling its planned celebration. “Bergdahl’s home town in Idaho has canceled plans for a celebration, city administrator says,” reports Felsenthal on Twitter….
The decision came as the small mountain community was coming under mounting pressure to cancel the rally amid rising anger over claims by some of Bergdahl’s former Army comrades that he had deliberately abandoned his post in Afghanistan….
Well, it looks like I have the answer to a question I posed in a post earlier today, i.e., “Who to believe?”
Was it Robert Bergdahl’s Muslim victory call? Or the fact that Bowe Bergdahl walked away from his commitment? Or both?

Barack Obama and Chuck Hagel must be pissed but they bear much of the blame for the outrage. What we have here is a disaster of the administration’s own making.
The Obama administration has been lying to Americans for five days about the prisoner swap. Actually years, if one thinks back to Benghazi and then even further when taking into account the administration’s lack of transparency.

Mark Steyn reported yesterday that the celebration was off. Last night I searched pretty hard to confirm that and really didn’t find a good source saying it was so.
What I did find were sites that had been up for several years praying for him and the family and then jubilant that he was being released, on and on. I wouldn’t have called these people clueless – I mean really – probably not a huge # of people knew of Bowe B before this but anyone who follows our military and the war did.
D – I haven’t been able to read much today so you may have posted, but have you seen the videos of his release that the Taliban released? The “sick” Bowe looked FAR from sick.

I also noted something very strange. I have been having problems with my self-hosted website this week.Every time I post something on Bergdahl, the site goes bonkers from bot attacks.
Apparently, someone is trying to keep the message from getting out.
