Fifteen year old, Justina Pelletier, was diagnosed a few years ago with mitochondrial disease, a genetic disorder capable of causing weakness and loss of muscle coordination.

In spite of her diagnosis and treatment Justina continued to live a normal life until last year when she caught the flu which ended her up in Boston Children’s Hospital.

This where the Pelletier’s nightmare begins as things take a strange turn courtesy of overreach and the nanny state….
